I love Greek yogurt. I'm particularly fond of this variety available around here, called The Greek Gods. I'm sure to miss it when I move to England.

I'm... I'm sure that's a wondrous place. But I've got my heart set on that fine isle. What can you give me in the way of a counter offer?

Um, we can take turns spooning with Cher in her big 13th-century bed?

Sure, sure, take all the time you need!
...Just be sure to have an answer by midnight tomorrow, or else you'll turn into a pumpkin and your stepsisters will get everything! Oh, and they'll also gut you like the useless gourd you will be.

My theory is that Cher is a vampire, cause she hasn't aged at all...So if you spoon with her, prepare to get your life essence sucked away!

Cher is the prettiest vampire of them all! :gonk:

And I see how it is, Biggles. DON'T EXPECT TO BE INVITED TO CHER'S CHATEAU IN THE MOUNTAINS! Don't.

That whole vampire theory reminds of the movie Hocus Pocus with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, Belly!

...I'm such a movie dweeb.

I LOVE Hocus Pocus! :gonk:
I'm so glad I bought it on DVD, but I don't watch the hell out of it like I thought I would. :P

AWW, I WANT IT ON DVD! :squee:

It's the ultimate Halloween movie. :P Although I'll admit to watching it throughout the year, whenever I catch it on TV. :ninja:

It's so nostalgic~ And fun.

Yeah, it's pretty much '90s out the wazoo. That's for certain.

And I honestly don't consider it much of a kid movie. In my opinion, it's not nearly as dumbed down and unbearably kiddish as the stuff these days. :gonk: ... I tell myself these things so I don't feel like such a dweeb when I watch 'em.

No, it's true. Movies/shows/cartoons have been really dumbed down these days. There is little to no entertainment value in most of them. I have seen exceptions, such as Flapjack, but most of these cartoons are going to turn this upcoming generation into all sorts of stupid...sorry to say. u_u

Oh, no, it's definitely not as stupid as it could have been. I wouldn't even watch it if it was like that. There are just parts that make me all... "really?"
I can barely stand any kid stuff. I tend to have picky tastes, so I just can't see past shit like that. Like Spongebob now... What happened to Spongebob? :gonk: It used to be perfect, now lately it's just shit.
But Flapjack gives me hope that there'll still be a few kid's shows that are good to people who aren't kids.

EDIT: Wrote this before demo's post showed up. That we both mentioned Flapjack is such a coincidence. But an indicator to its quality.
On that note, Chowder is okay. But it can get a bit irritating if you watch too much. I'll watch it every now and then, but I much prefer Flapjack. I'd watch that every day if it wasn't for my burning love of MASH reruns.

I wouldn't be a very good in that category. I like Flapjack, but I've only seen maybe like...three episodes.
/doesn't watch cartoon network too much

However, if you wish it...let it be so.

BUDDIES! *HIGHFIVE*

But yeah, I don't blame you. The commercials alone can kill you. Luckily, I have a DVR, so I can record Flapjack, skip through the mind-numbing shows and commercials, and just enjoy Flapjack.
Sometimes I wonder what it'd be like if they made the show for an older audience. I don't mean like Adult Swim caliber stuff, I just mean... if they didn't have to be so careful to make it child-friendly.
I've wondered that ever since I found the dA of one of the guys behind Flapjack. Forget who it was, and I don't have the link to his account on hand, but I might have it bookmarked (I'm not at home right now). But just seeing the show through the eyes of an adult creator made me wonder what it'd be like if he had the ability to make it however he wanted.

You know, some of these really good kid's cartoons have quite the adult following. I wish they'd pick up on that and start making more like that. Maybe give it a channel. Not adult cartoons like Adult Swim (as funny as that is, just not the type I mean), just... Hmm, not sure how to put it. A cartoon where not everything was a sex joke, but they had the freedom to put one in if they felt like it. That's not really something that exists.
