And stage combat is the fighting that you see on TV and on stage that looks real and awesome but no one is actually getting hurt. :} Today was groin day. XD

Ah, yes, I thought so. My boyfriend had a class on that with his friends. Staged swordplay. I thought it was pointless, to be honest. He thought by "sword practice" they meant actually learning to use one, but no, they gave basics on what to do with one, and coregraphed the fights. I hate coregraphed fights to be honest, but see their point. ._.'' *rambled*

XD I wouldn't say he was bad, but he just wouldn't work with me. He had too heavy an accent and nothing he said was retained. ._.;; and 70% was nearly gibberish.

XD You don't like coregraphed fights?! But all fights in movies and theatre are staged! ALL! Without them being staged... there would either be none or stunt people / people who do their own stunts would ALWAYS be hurt. Dx It just depends on if you do it right or not. ;3

Oh man, I love my school! lol. The classes seem pretty awesome so far, the campus is beautiful... Except all the girls look like clones. o_o; It's scary. Lol. But it's really great so far. =] Even the 30-45 minute drive is pretty nice. lol

That's why I said I see the point of them, but I think it takes away from the essence of the craft. *shrug* I do not mind the fact they coregraph them for movies and such, but for kids fooling around, I think it's stupid. You don't tell someone you're going to tach them to.. brandish.. operate... Damn, I forgot the word... WEILD!, weild a sword properly and use coreographing to practice- it defeats the purpose of teaching them.
Unless the coreography has a purpose. See?

I got it back, even if only temperarily. I'm on my laptop, and that's all that actually has in ternet, because my uncle and I set it up.

The choreography has the purpose of--so no one is surprised and accidentally kicked in the balls for real. XD We had grown day and did like 7-8 groin hitting attacks in a row. ._.;;
