"Water's fine." Matthew said as he turned to the food and took a fry in his hand, toying with it a bit before popping it in his mouth. He knew he had to shake this feeling as it was upsetting Leane so after swallowing his fry, Matthew went to the one thing that made everything feel the least bit better. Walking over to Leane, Matthew wound his arms around her waist and nuzzled his nose against the soft skin of her neck. "I'm sorry if I rushed you out of school." He apologized as his fingers grazed over her lower back. "Perhaps I'm the bad influence here. Condoning such behavior."

Reaching over and setting her Snapple on the island counter, Leane sighed as she leaned back against the closed fridge and wrapped one arm around Matt's torso and the other around his neck. One hand caressing his back while the other buried into his hair, Leane whispered softly as she rested her cheek against his check, "It's alright, you had your reasons. I'm not worried about school, we'll both graduate and we'll make up the work. Right now I'm more concerned with what's wrong with you and why you're acting like this..."

"I..." Matthew paused, not sure to begin. It was a bit overwhelming after all. "I head some kids talking about..." And his voice drifted off as one hand reached back around to caress her flat stomach. "About what might happen. And I guess it opened a floodgate." He said, laughing a humorless laugh as he did so.

"Matt...." Taking Matt's hand in hers, her other hand caressing his cheek, Leane placed her lips upon his in a tender kiss. "Matt," Leane said softly as she looked up into his eyes, a frown apparent upon her lips, "People are going to talk. They're always going to talk. If we let it bother us, Kurt will win.. He'll make our lives miserable... We can't let that happen.. I refuse to be miserable when I have you with me. How can I possibly be happy when you're worrying about what rumors they're spreading or what insults they're giving me? I hate seeing you like this.."

"I know." Matthew sighed as he forced his eyes downward, suddenly ashamed of his actions. "I know I'm going to have to learn to avoid the rumors and pretend they don't matter. But I'm scared, Leane." He confessed for the first time since they'd ever been unprotected. "I'm scared to be a father. I'm scared of that happy feeling I get sometimes when I think about how it would be to be a father. I'm scared that if the rumors are true then you'll hate me for taking away your only shot at high school. I'm scared that any moment someone like Keith could take you away from me. I'm scared that I'm not good enough." Looking up at Leane, Matthew finally met her eyes as he silently begged her to comfort him. To be strong for him. "I'm scared to depend on you as much as I do incase you change your mind and I'm left with nothing."

Standing on her toes, Leane wrapped her arms around Matt's neck and pulled him close to her. Resting her cheek against his as she closed her eyes, Leane sighed softly before beginning to speak.

"Matt, don't you think I'm scared of that too? I'm so afraid that you're going to leave me if I'm pregnant - I'm so afraid that you'll get sick of everything that's been happening and you'll leave me on my own, pregnant or not. I love you Matt, with all of my heart and soul. No one could ever replace you, ever - don't you see that? You, Matthew Sommers, are my other half - my better, more reasonable and sane half.

"You're not taking anything from me, whether I'm pregnant or not. High school is high school. It's nothing that will be a part of our lives forever. It's a passing stage. We'll be out sooner than you think. And once we're out? We'll never have to look back on it again.

"As for Keith, he's not going to steal me away from you. Yes, he's a sweetheart, but he's not you. Matt, I love you and only you. You are the only man good enough for me, the only man I would ever want to call my husband and have as the father of my children. Can't you see that? Can't you see how much I love and adore you?" Leane added as she looked up into his eyes, trying to make him understand.

"I'm yours, Matt, and I always will be. I'm not going to change my mind about you, about us, about this. You're mine, Matt, and you always will be for as long as I'm able to keep you," Leane assured him with a warm smile before placing a long, slow, tender kiss upon his lips.

Matthew felt his body sag in relief, letting out a breath he didn't realize he'd been holding as he clung to Leane. "I love you too, Leane." Matthew murmured softly against her lips, his hands trembling softly as they ran through her hair and brought her lips back to his for another kiss. "I'll love you every day for the rest of my life and the fact that I love you so much is what has me so scared. I only want to be with you, I don't want to ever look at another girl the way I look at you." Matthew said as he felt a much more adult feeling settle into his stomach. "I love you more then I've ever loved anyone. Including myself and I know how unhealthy it is to love someone that much but I do and I can't seem to stop. As if I'd ever want to. And sometimes I need to pull you out of classes and take you away so that you can assure me nothing is going to change the way you feel." Matthew smiled and this time his smile had a happy look about it.

"I'll gladly assure you any way that I can, Matt, for you have no idea how much it hurts my heart to hear you say such horrible things such as you entertaining the thought of my leaving. Nor do you have any idea how much it makes my heart race and my body ache to have you close when you say such wonderful things as this.." Leane whispered softly as she leaned in for a long tender kiss.

A small tear rolling down her cheek, Leane buried her face in Matt's neck as she continued, "Hearing how much you love me.. Hearing it in words.. It.. It makes me seem so much less crazy than I had originally thought. I know it sounds so corny and stupid to say this, but I truly feel as you do. You're the only man I've ever loved and you're the only man I'll ever love for the rest of my life. It may sound possessive and dramatic, but I would probably go insane if you looked at another girl the way you look when I see you. I can't bare the thought of you loving another girl more than you do me.. It just seems so wrong to think about..

"As for pulling me out of classes? We can sneak off to the attic any time you wish, especially this winter when we're inside for art. I think between trips to my locker and trips to the bathroom, I'll be spending more time out of the classroom than in it most days. The other days I'll be missing completely," Leane added with a wink as she placed long, slow, tender kisses upon his lips. "I love you Matthew Sommers, and I always will."

"Did you hear everything Sir?" Carson said softly into the phone as he leaned back against the wall.

"Yes, Carson. Thank you for calling, we truly appreciate it," Mr. Supton said softly.

"It is my duty to keep this family at peace when I am able, Sir. I am happy to do so," Carson said gently, a hint of bitterness slipping out in his tone.

After a few more exchanges, Caron and Mr. Supton's line disconnected and the phone call was ended. Placing the phone back upon the hook, Caron nearly punched himself in the face. When he had saw the couple pull in, he thought for sure there was going to be a break-up and that her Father should hear it. Who knew they'd have a lovey-dovey fest that would make the heads of the family start to like the boy despite the circumstances?

Well, telling them of the possible pregnancy had been a waste of time it seemed.. He wasn't going to be able to break them up now..

"I love you too, Leane." Matthew murmured as he leaned forward and gave her lips a long kiss, all of his passion and desire for her rolling across his lips and onto her's. "I'll love you forever. No matter what happens I'll always be here." Matthew promised in the few seconds his lips left her's. "It continues to amaze me how much I've fallen for you Leane Supton." Matthew laughed, his previous more serious demeanor fading away as a boy-like giddiness took over. Wrapping his arms tighter around Leane's waist, Matthew lifted her up and twirled her once around before resting her feet back on the ground and giving her a long kiss.

Laughing as he spun her around, Leane eagerly returned his kisses through her giggling. "It amazes me how you fell for me as well," Leane murmured against his lips between tender kisses, fighting the urge to inquire for the one thing she wanted to do right now, knowing it was a horrible idea after what had happened, but still finding it the perfect moment.

"I love you," Leane murmured between kisses as she lightly leaned against him. After a dozen or so more kisses, Leane inquired softly, "The food's going to get cold, shall we take a small break and eat something before we both waste away into dust?"

"Food. Right." Matthew laughed, a small blush on his cheeks as his mind drifted back to the kitchen instead of a very different room upstairs. Getting a glass out of a nearby cupboard and filled it with water before retrieving two plates and setting their lunches on them. Popping a couple fries in his mouth, Matthew leaned back against the counter and smiled childishly over at Leane. She was completely beautiful-as always-and it seemed to Matt that after their previous conversation she looked ven brighter. Even more real to him. As if he'd discovered a new color in the world.

Grabbing her Snapple and putting it by her plate, Leane smiled as she picked up her burger and took a bite, sitting on the nearby stool as she did so. Squirming slightly, Leane popped a fry into her mouth with a grin. Looking over at Matt, Leane blushed as she swallowed her food, "Why are you looking at me like that? Do I have ketchup on my cheek?" Leane added as she reached up to try and find the condiment upon her cheek.

"No." Matthew laughed, his voice light and airy. Sitting on a stool near her, Matthew leaned in and kissed her lips softly. "You're just extremely beautiful." He assured her before turning his attention back to his food.

Leane smiled as she lightly nudged Matt's side, "Thank you." Before turning back to her food, Leane scooted her stool closer to Matt's so she could lightly rest against his side while she ate, simply wanting the feeling of having him near. "I love you," Leane said softly as she placed a tender kiss upon his cheek before eating some of her fries.

"I love you too, Lee." Matthew smiled blissfully, wrapping an arm around her waist and eating the rest of his lunch one handed, wanting to keep Leane as close as possible to him.

Leane smiled as she leaned into him, letting her head rest back into the crook of his shoulder. Finishing her fries, Leane began eating her burger again between swigs of Snapple. Her lunch finished, Leane wrapped her arms around Matt's waist and rested her cheek upon his chest, "Promise me you won't entertain the thought of my leaving you anymore? Promise me you believe me when I tell you I'm never leaving?"

"Promise." Matthew smiled as he set what remained of his finished lunch aside and put his arms around her waist, his lips meeting her's. "I hate the idea of losing you, Lee. I enjoy this happy, invicible feeling instead." He laughed easily as he hopped down from the bar stool and stepped into Leane, his mouth joining her's for a tender kiss. "I love you very much Leane Supton." He reminded her as his hands rested innocently on her back.

"I love you too, Matt." Wrapping her arms around his neck as her thighs rested against his hips, Leane smiled as her toes curled from his kisses. "I like seeing you this happy much more than I do seeing you beat yourself up with nonsensical thoughts."

"As do I." Matthew murmured between bouts of playful kisses. "Its quite an incredible feeling knowing that you love me to. That I'm not alone in this." Matthew said before capturing her lips in a long kiss, his hands pressing against the lower part of Leane's back as he did so.

"You've never been alone in this, Matthew Sommers, nor will you ever be. I'm here to stay, pregnant or not. I love you, pregnant or not. I always will, don't ever forget that," Leane said with a warm smile as she rested her forehead against his.

"Would I have made love to you, kissed you, been with you nearly every second of my waking moments, if I didn't love you?" Leane inquired softly before bringing his lips back to hers in a number of long, slow, passionate kisses.

"No." Matthew managed between kisses as he pulled Leane closer to him. "But a boy can't help but doubt himself sometimes." He reasoned before he pressed his torso to Leane's in a much more intimate gesture, his hands gently roaming her curves as his lips pressed tender kisses against her neck and collarbone.

"Always remember that I'll clear the doubts from your mind, Matt. I refuse to let your doubts break us apart," Leane promised as she leaned into his kisses, wrapping her legs tighter around his waist. Nearly sliding from the stool in her effort to pull him closer, Leane laughed softly as she sat on it's edge and held tighter onto Matt so she didn't fall.

Resting her forehead against his, Leane whispered softly as she looked up at him, a shy smile upon her lips as a blush filled her cheeks, "Matt.. Will you make love to me? I don't know when Josh will be home.. But we could always go back to your house?"

Matthew couldn't help it as an embarrassed boy grin graced his lips. Lifting Leane off the stool, Matthew put his arms beneath her thighs to hold her up. "Do you want to drive seperately?" He asked as he walked Leane to the door, still kissing her as he somehow managed to avoid bumping into things or dropping Leane on the floor. Reaching the door, Matthew put Leane's back against the glass panes of the door and paused to give her a tender kiss.

"Mhmm," Leane said softly between kisses, "I'll meet you there after I grab something from upstairs. If I ride with you Josh is going to think I'm home when I'm not. Not to mention I'll end up distracting you from driving." Unwrapping her legs from around his waist, Leane never broke their kisses as she shifted so that he was pressed back against the door. "I love you," Leane murmured against his lips between long, slow kisses.

"I love you too, Leane." Matthew said before breaking their embrace, his hands still on the small curves of her hips. "I'll see you at my place." He smiled before kissing Leane's forehead and disappearing out the door. After reaching his house, Matthew went inside the living room and settled onto the couch as he waited for Leane, wanting to check the scores of the game that afternoon.
