"I know.. But they shall be cross and cruel to us both.. I don't want to spend my birthday without Matt, so I don't want to tell them until after the Ball, once everyone has left.." Leane admitted as she continued to cry. "You don't know.. the family history.. of the Suptons.. They'll outcast me, I've dishonored my family heritage, just as my Aunt did. They'll never forgive me.." Leane whispered as she looked down at her lap, nearly clinging to Matt's hand for support as she tried her best to stop crying. "Please.. don't force me tell them until then.."

"Of course not, we won't ruin your birthday." Matthew's mother soothed. "And if your family outcasts you then you're always welcome here." She said before standing up and giving Matt's hand a squeeze. "I'm going to bed. I suggest you two get some sleep." She advised before walking out of the room and down the hall to the master bedroom.

"What are we going to do," Leane whispered as she brought her knee to her chest, burying her face into her knee.

"We're going to have a baby." Matthew sighed as he put a hand through her hair. "I love you, Lee." He said as he leaned forward and pressed a kiss on her forehead. "And I love this little life that you have in you. So we're going to do whatever we have to to keep us together." He soothed.

"You don't know my parents," Leane whispered as she leaned back into the pillows and looked at her boyfriend. "When I go home for two weeks of bed-rest... They'll make certain you don't see me.."

"I am going to find a way to see you." Matthew said as he leaned forward to give her lips a soft kiss. "I'll shimmy up a drain pipe or sneak my way in ninja-style." He grinned playfully before pressing a kiss on the tip of Leane's nose.

"Mmm, and neither Carson nor the security alarm will stop you?" Leane teased as she placed a long kiss on his lips before wiping the tears from her cheeks.

"Nothing can stop a ninja, Lee." Matthew said with a teasing smile before giving her lips another kiss. "Let's get some sleep, love. Its incredibly late." He reminded her before standing up from the bed. "I need to get some sweats on then I can get you out of these." He said, pinching the fabric of Leane's tatteed clothes.

Leane blushed as she noticed the holes and dirt all over her jeans and jacket. "Guess I'll be needed a new jacket, hmm?" Leane said with a small laugh as she sighed, "I really am sorry for causing so much trouble, darling."

"Don't be. All I care is that you're safe." Matthew smiled as he bent forward to kiss her cheek before straightening up and going back to his room. After changing into a pair of sweatpants and an old t shirt, Matthew found a nightgown of Leane's and walked back into the room. "Alright, I'm gonna try and make this as painless as possible." He said with a small smile before going to help Leane change without movng her foot too much.

Leane smiled as she did as much as she could on her own, letting him do the rest. Frowning at the little cuts from the branches that came through the holes, Leane sighed. "I think a bath is definitely in order tomorrow morning when we wake up.." Leane said softly with a small smile.

"Will you stay with me tonight?" Leane asked softly as she started to move, fully dressed in her night gown, to Matt's side of the bed, having to change places so that she could comfortably lay into Matt's frame.

"Was there even a doubt that I wouldn't?" Matthew asked as he laid down next to Leane and wrapped his arms around her, pressing a kiss on her forehead. "I love you." He mumbled as his eyes began to drift shut.

"I love you too," Leane murmured softly as she curled into his side as best she could without moving her leg and drifting off to sleep.

Late in the morning, Leane groaned as she woke up to shooting pains. In her sleep, she had managed to move her leg. "Bloody hell.." Leane whispered as she looked over at Matt, gently shaking his shoulder as she called softly, "Matt.. Wake up.. I need more of that pain medication..."

Matthew groaned as he rubbed his eyes and turned to face Leane. Carefully standing from the bed, Matthew went to the kitchen and got a glass of water before going back and taking out a painkiller and handing both things to Leane.

"I'm sorry," Leane said sympathetically as she took the pill and handed the empty glass back to Matt. "It'll only be for right now, I promise, once I'm back home you won't have to do this anymore; I'll have Carson to do it for me.."

"Don't be sorry. I'm just lazy." Matthew assured her with a wink and set the glass back on the sidetable and lying down beside his girlfriend again. "Think we can lay here a little longer?" He asked with a warm smile, his hand caressing Leane's side.

"Of course," Leane said with a warm smile as she leaned into his frame, "I don't feel like getting out of bed just yet. I'd rather say here beside you," Leane added with a grin as she placed a long, sweet kiss on his lips. "Think you can put up with me?" Leane teased with a wink.

"I think I can manage." Matthew laughed as he ducked his head to rest his chin on her shoulder. "I love you, Lee. Is the pain meds helping?" He asked as he tilted his head to look at her bandaged leg.

"I love you too," Leane murmured softly as she buried her face affectionately into the crook of his neck. "Yes, it's starting to kick in. It's making me feel a little drowsy, though.. I'm not liking that aspect," Leane said with a small frown.

"Sleep if you want, Lee. We could bothuse some rest considering how late we were up." Matthew smiled as he rested his chin in Leane's hair. "I love you beautiful girl, despite how crazy you are sometimes." He mused with a teasing smile.

Leane laughed softly as she placed a tender kiss upon his neck. "I really am sorry about all that.. I didn't mean to upset everyone, nor nearly break my neck while trying to leave. Imagine what Ben and Jenny will say when they see us tomorrow at the Ball! They still don't even know the news," Leane said with a smile.

"I really am happy, despite everything. There's nothing we can do about what happened, but I am quite determined to make our baby not feel like an accident, and feel wanted and loved. Even if my family will call it a bastard," Leane added softly as her smile faltered just a bit. "Do you.. Do you think Josh and Kalli... will go against my parents?"

"I think Josh loves you too much to disown you because I know if the situation was reversed you would stand up by them." Matthew soothed as he ran a hand down the side of her worried face. "I love you, and I love this baby we're having." Matthew smiled as he made his way down the sheets to be face to stomach with Leane. "Did you hear that? I love you so don't ever let anyone tell you that you're anything but a blessing." Matthew said before giving Leane's stomach a kiss.

Leane smiled as she caressed Matt's hair lovingly, "I love you."

Laying back in the pillows, Leane sighed softly, the warm smile still on her lips. "Perhaps.. Perhaps you're right. He knows very well I would have stood by him too.. But.. He was so upset about the possibility..." Leane reminded as her small lessened a bit.

"Stop that." Matthew insisted as he made his way back up Leane's body to kiss her lips. "Josh and Kalli love you and they only want you to be safe. And I have no doubt that no matter what your parents say they will stand by us." Matthew said before giving her lips another kiss.

"What ever you say, my love," Leane said with a warm smile as she melted into his lips, finding the argument that would surely proceed a pointless one. Instead, she would much rather be kissing her boyfriend, and the father of their new baby. "I love you, Matthew Sommers," Leane murmured softly with a warm smile.
