Matthew pulled into Leane's driveway and slung his bag over his shoulder before walking up to Leane. "Ready?" He asked as he gave Leane's forehead a kiss before leading her inside and putting his bag near the door.

Putting her bags with Matt's, not wanting to leave him alone with her father just yet to bring them upstairs, Leane linked their fingers together with her free hand and placed a long, tender kiss upon Matt's lips. "Don't worry, he'll love you," she whispered against his lips before leading him to the Dining Room where her father was sitting reading the paper at the table set for three.

Looking up from his paper, Isaac smiled, "Leane! It's good to see you, how have you been? And this must be Matthew Sommers," he added after placing a kiss upon Leane's forehead. Holding his hand out to Matt, Isaac smiled, "Pleasure to meet you, my name's Isaac Supton, Leane's father. I trust you've been taking care of my daughter in my absence? I hear you had a bit of roughing up from Kurt while sticking up for her. I'll warn you now, that says a lot about your character and about how much you care for my daughter, and it makes you alright in my book," he added with a smile before sitting back in his chair as Eugile began serving dinner - roasted chicken, stuffing, boiled salt potatoes, and mixed vegetables.

Leane chuckled as she whispered softly for Matt's ears only, "I told you everything would be alright. I'll be back in a bit, I'm just going to run this pie to the kitchen," she added louder before bringing it into the kitchen and setting it on the counter.

Returning, Leane sat down in her usual chair to the right of her father, leaving the seat to the left open.

Matthew smiled as he took the seat to the left of the Leane's father. "I'm afraid Leane hasn't told me quite as much about you as she has about me." Matthew smiled confidently at Leane's father as his nerves began to calm. "What is it that you do for a living?" Matthew asked curiously.

Isaac laughed as he looked at Matt, "She hasn't, has she. Well we must remedy that, mustn't we. I am the President of the Supton Electric Company. My main offices are in Tokyo, but I'm able to stay home most of the time and work via satellite. This way I don't have to be gone more often than not and I have time to spend with my family," he added before taking a bite of his vegetables. "What about you, Mr. Sommers, what do your parents do? Do you have a job of your own yet? I'm afraid Leane hasn't told me much more than how much she loves and adores you, how good looking you are, how much she enjoys spending her free time with you, and how much she loves your humor and your over all persona," teased Isaac between bites of vegetables, causing Leane to blush a deep crimson as she shoved food into her mouth to prevent herself from having to speak in the conversation.

Matthew smiled at Leane as he swallowed a bite of his potatoes. "My mother works part time at a small diner as a breakfast cook." Matthew explained. "And my father is working at a computer company though I don't have much more details then that." He laughed quietly. "I haven't gotten a job yet but I've been looking around for possible jobs. I'm not sure what I want to do when I graduate yet. But I'm keeping my options open in hopes of finding something." He said as he took a bite of his chicken which he had to admit was incredible.

"Good boy, good boy. It's always good to keep your options open. What are your grades like in school?"

"Daddy.. please.. Please don't try and convert him to becoming a businessman.. You promised," said Leane softly as her blush deepened and she finished her chicken and vegetables.

"Lee, I'm not trying to convert the boy, just curious what his interests are. If you're serious about the boy, then I want to know who my daughter is spending all of her time with and can't stop talking about. Carson says you two have been getting rather close," Isaac added with a small smile as he looked at his daughter, causing Leane to shove potatoes into her mouth and look down at her plate, who's design became much more interesting all of a sudden.

Matthew blushed slightly at Isaac's remark, feeling slightly embaressed though he knew he couldn't dodge the conversation quite as easily as Leane. "My grades are high 80's and low 90's mostly." He said as he took another bite of his vegetables. "Though some of the school work is painfully easy. Photographic memory and all." He said before popping a piece of broccoli in his mouth.

"Good, good. The kind of grades I like to see. And photographic memory to boot, eh? That's got to come in handy for studying purposes. I'm surprised you're not top of your class with that talent. What's your favorite class?"

"I like my AP Psychology class." Matthew offered. "I find the different brain functions interesting. Stuff like mutliple personalities and such intrigues me. As strange as that sounds." He laughed before taking a few more bites of his potatos.

Shaking his head as he finished his vegetables and chicken, Issac smiled, "Not strange at all! AP, hm, a bit tough. I like that you're taking the risk, shows you're not afraid to get your hands dirty and work hard. Do you plan on going into the field of Psychology once in college? Assuming that you plan on going, of course."

"Yes, I plan on going to college." Matthew assured Isaac. "I've looked into a few options in Psychology but I haven't really made a decision yet." He explained as he finished his vegetables.

"It's a good profession, as long as you don't turn get warped from listening to other's problems and trying to figure out the workings of disorders,' said Issac as he finished his meal and Eugile immediately came in and took his plate, replacing it with Apple Pie a'la Mode. Seeing that Leane was finished too, Eugile instantly went to the kitchen and returned moments later with Apple Pie a'la Mode for Leane. Taking Leane's plate to the kitchen, Eugile stayed there and did the dishes while waiting to serve Matt his desert as well.

Leane smiled as she looked down at her pie, "Yay! It was good enough to serve!"

Isaac chuckled, "You made this yourself, dearest? I think we'd best beware," he teasingly warned Matt with a wink before taking a bite. Smiling at Leane, who was still complete nerves, Isaac nodded, "It's alright, darling, the pie is absolutely delicious."

Breathing a sigh of relief, Leane's nerve level went down a couple of notches. Taking a bite of her pie, Leane squirmed in her seat as she took another bite, a proud look on her face as she smiled and continued to eat.

Matthew smiled as he finished his supper, smiling happily at Leane's reaction. "The power of a cooking class." Matthew smiled, figuring it best not to mention Leane's interest in cooking in front of her father. He didn't want to start an arguement. Not tonight.

Leane, thankful Matt covered her cooking skill, smiled at him as she reached her foot across the small gap between her and Matt and brushed his foot gently, secretly telling him 'Thank you', before eating her pie once more.

Isaac smiled, "Perhaps she should take more classes. If a highschool class can get my debutante to make pie, imagine what the best Chef instructor money can buy could teach her!"

Leane blushed and was thankful Eugile came in with Matt's desert to change the topic once more. "Tell me what you think. And remember, don't sugar coat it," Leane added with a laugh as Eugile took the plate back to the kitchen and washed it up, another couple of servants coming in to clear the dinner food from the table.

Matthew rolled his eyes playfully as he took a bite of the pie. "Its perfect, Lee." He assured her though the smile on his face must have been proof enough. "No need to sugar coat." He laughed quietly, giving her a quick wink before taking another bite.

Her smile spreading into a grin, Leane finished her pie and ice-cream. When the servant came to collect her place, Leane asked for another helping.

Isaac shook his head as he finished his dessert, "Honestly, Leane. Must you eat so much? You're never going to fit into the clothes I have on order from Tokyo."

Leane rolled her eyes playfully as her dessert was served and Isaac's plate was taken to be washed, "Nonsense, Daddy. I'm fit as a fiddle! Besides, can I help it if I'm hungry? I work it all off in Gymnastics anyway," she added with a smile.

"Speaking of Gymnastics, when is your next competition?"

"Two weeks from this Saturday, will you be home?"

Sighing, Isaac shook his head, "Sadly, no. I'll be in Taiwan.. I'll try to make it to your next one, alright?"

Nodding, Leane sadly ate her second dessert.

Looking at his watch, Isaac stood from the table, "I'm afraid I have to leave now or I'll miss my flight. Matt, it was nice to finally meet you. I look forward to seeing you again," Isaac smiled as he patted him on the back. "Say 'Hello' to Kalli and Josh for me? And tell that boy to propose already. His mother is dying to plan Kalli's wedding," he added with a chuckle before placing a tender kiss upon Leane's forehead and heading out to the limo awaiting him, his luggage already in the trunk.

Taking another bite of her dessert, Leane gave a small smile at Matt as she inquired, "I think it went rather well. He doesn't hate you, like I knew he wouldn't. Be honest, what do you think?"

"I think that went alot smoother then my nerves convinced me it was going to go." Matthew teased as he finished his own pie. "I told you there was nothing to worry about. You're going to get wrinkles from worrying so much." Matthew teased playfully.

Leane rolled her eyes playfully as she stuck her tongue out before taking another bite of her dessert, "Don't be mean and threaten me with wrinkles. It's you I'm always worrying about. Maybe if you didn't worry me to much, I wouldn't be on the verge of turning grey before my time," she teased as she finished her pie and a servant came in to collect their dishes. Walking around the table, Leane took Matt's hands in hers and smiled. Leaning down to place a tender kiss upon his lips, Leane whispered softly between kisses, "We have the entire house to ourselves, what would you like to do now? 'Watch' a movie in the living room?"

"I, uh." Matthew stammered as he stood up beside Leane, his nerves suddenly kicking in. "I wanted to talk to you about earlier." He said, scratching the back of his neck nervously. "You know, when you asked me why my face had been red." He said, his voice starting to ramble. "I've been thinking lately and I-" He said, cutting himself off before leading her into the living room.

"Forget it." Matthew said quickly, chickening out horribly as he grabbed his schoolbag before settling onto the couch. "You can put in a movie, love. I just wanted to finish some Matth homework." He smiled shly before immersing himself in the math book.

Sighing, Leane shook her head in confusion before moving to the DVD case and pulling 'Titanic' from the shelf. Turning off the main lights as the movie started, Leane turned on the lamp beside Matt and snuggled next to him, wrapping her arms around his waist. "Why won't you tell me. Is it something I did and you're just afraid of telling me for fear I'll be angry?"

"You have the angry part right." Matthew sighed as he shoved his homework aside, not caring if it was done or not as his nerves had returned. Dropping his bag to the floor to wrap and arm around Leane, Matthew saw the corner of the small cardboard box he'd put in his bag that morning and felt his face turn a brilliant red. "You didn't do anything wrong." Matthew assured Leane as he tried to pointedly ignore the corner of the box which seemed to be taunting him. Trying to push the bag away, Matthew felt another wave of heat in his face as the box slid out more, revealing half of the title which he quickly covered, not to discreetly, with his foot.

Noticing Matt shoving his bag away, Leane sat up and looked at him curiously, "What is it that I'll be so angry about.. and why do you keep blushing and pushing your bag away?" Reaching across his lap, Leane reached for the bag as she added, "What in the world are you hiding from me? Can't you just tell me? It can't be that bad," she added as she continued reaching for the bag, nearly falling to the floor as she reached for it, yet it was still out of her reach.

Matthew instinctively reached out for Leane's hands as he tried to push away the bag again though the small box of condoms he'd betrayed him and fell out of the bag. "I-I-" Matthew stammered, his face suddenly a brilliant red. "I just, uhm. You mentioned pr-protective m-measures and I, uh." He said quickly, ducking his face away from Leane. "I'm sorry, Lee. Don't be angry." He sighed quietly, mortified by the cardboard box.

"Condoms?" Leane blushed as she sat back on her knees on the couch, "But you said... I don't understand... I'm not angry, just.. confused.. Y-you said you didn't want to, that it was too soon.. That you were afraid I'd end up like Amber... What made you change your mind?" she asked as she looked up at him.

"I was talking to Ben and I think we both know that you'd never be an Amber." Matthew said, the blush still bright on his cheeks. "I mean, I'll understand if you'd rather wait but I love you and I want to be with you." Matthew said shyly. "But if you're not ready yet then I'll fully understand. It was probably a mistake just to bring them here." He said, tucking the box into his bag quickly.
