Space was once considered the final frontier. It peaked interests in the minds of countless people.
What was out there?
Were we alone?
Can we make it?
Will we survive?
Questions which constantly plagued human memory. Inspiring novels and movies, science and the imagination. Encouraging them to reach past the night sky, and into a universe.
Now, as a passenger aboard the Messenger, such questions are an every day novelty. You look out from your quarters into everyday space. Living on a traveling space station was a luxury few got to experience in this tame and explored space. While planet life had become boring and tedious, the thrill of the Messenger was still high in its passengers spirits. The possibilities were endless for Terran and alien alike. It was as if a galaxy was forged on the ship between the people, as they adventured and discovered new things around them. Sights few had ever gotten to experience before. A virtual city, spinning on its celestial axis. Hurtling through space had become their playground.
Space has been explored and discovered. There is no longer mystery in its depths. Yet the Messenger has become a haven for those seeking a explore and discover new mysteries around them. This manufactured leviathan has become a new playground for those wishing to explore. Many board it seeking simple pleasure from long travel between the stars. Never knowing or caring to understand the marvel they have entered. Its secrets are revealed to few passengers who board the city-ship. Yet those who search find gems in its depths unlike anything they have ever seen before.

It's a little hard to keep an RP going with only two people. Perhaps more staff members should arrive to back Anton up? (And give us more people to work with, they can just be randoms).
And how's your finger?

It's a little better now. I just had to move my laptop upstairs because the battery was extremely low. Took a while... sometimes I move veery slowly.

^^ yes. I've decided shorter posts and more dialouge should be alright for right now. Apparently I type a bit faster for speech instead of actions. Oh! I'm keeping Anton as my second character instead of lending him out.
... Accidentally got attached ^^"

Heh, I'm not surprised. You put far too much effort into him to just lend him out to anyone. Plus he's a short (if he's eye-level with R'jalla he'd be around 5'9"-ish...) cuddly guy.
If I become more confident I may add my own human character. Chrystal Rosewater. *Has a fondness for that name* I'd use Jeralla but it sounds too similar to R'jalla. Actually, thinking about it it's the same name with the J and R switched... no wonder I came up with that name for her. XD

>.< why must he be cuddly? I added some inches to that because I though you were taller at eye level... Must edit again. But I'm keeping some height.
lol, you made your own mind get a subliminal message and created R'jalla's name. O.o woooooow. I would love it if you added a second character. Humans are a bit easy to make since their race was all ready created... and stuff.

You can do whatever you want, he's your character and so long as he isn't towering over her it'd be fine, a level stare just means one doesn't have to strain one's neck to look into the other's eyes (I think...)
Yeah, I guess I just like those sound combined. I thought it was because I wanted to make it sound like their language was made by cats: guttural, heavy on the Rs (most cats I know actually make a sound that is "row" rather than "meow" and make lots of R sounds), and slurred.
I'm so sappy, I don't think I could ever play a truly straight laced character who wasn't emotional like my latest post.
And he's cuddly because I say so. But then again, when you're a 5 ft tall tiger you can hug any one you want and very few people would try to stop you.

Yeah. I might take 3/4's of an inch off. I just though it would be funny to have that tacked on the end of his height. I also though you were taller, cause once someone says 'at the shoulder' I generally look at them like, why-can't-you-just-say-the-proper-height!?!
Ah, my cats said 'meow'. But I think anything that has a deep chest rumble would be sufficient with your language. Most big cats make 'r' sounds more. or at least the one's at the zoo and animal planet
Edit: I probably could. And I would make life hell for everyone else lol (I can be more than slightly evil >.<)
... Taking that into consideration, he's cuddly

Mostly animals that walk on four legs are measured at the shoulder.... I'm not sure why but it's how horses are measured for some reason and I thought it made sense. I just liked the thought. >.>
Heh, that little bit at the end! XD
R'jalla makes everyone cuddly! 8D

Pudding is delicious, it's been a while since I've had it. But even better: we're going to have blackberry pie tomorrow night!
What kind of a look are you going for? I'm not sure if it's medieval fantasy or sci-fi-riffic or some sort of steam or junk punk.

I started out with sci-fi but it might accidentally turn into a mix with some techno punk and fantasy.
I actually cos-played steam punk at an anime convention earlier this month. Like on the first. So much fun.

Ah, Techno punk sounds pretty darn awesome. I look forward to the finished version. I gave in and DL'd the avatar creator, I need it if I'm going to make an avatar that isn't only half thought out.
Oh, I wish I could go to more conventions... and cosplaying would be awesome too. ._.

Heheh. I've only been to one convention. This was my third year going thought, and I volunteered for the first tine this year ^^. So much bad things normal con goers do that noone but staff finds out about.
It was also my first cos play. I was so concerned about the jacket I had. But it did fit right. Cos playing isn't that hard with a themed costume and thrift stores. Just had to buy a couple of things online.

I've only ever been to two, and I only tried dressing up as something generic and anime-ish looking. Wearing cat ears, my brother's camo jacket, a skimpy black tube top, a tiny little green skirt, and tall black boots with buckles was awesome.
Yeah, thrift stores are awesome! But my husband hates them because you never know what the previous owners did and some things just don't wash out.

That's actually more than most people do. It sounds well put together too! Defiantly one up on nekos who just put on some ears and say they have a costume.
>.< lol. I mostly go with my mom for her book business. Going to richer areas usually means better clothes with standard wear and tear. Which I have no problem fixing. I've found some pretty neat stuff, while being wary of questionable items and undergarments. Which I steer clear off.

I don't think I've ever seen actually used undergarments at thrift stores. I've heard of people buying new clothes and just donating them to thrift stores with the tags still attached as a form of charity, that might be what's going on with underwear. It can't be sanitary to sell actually used under garments.

The nicer ones don't have them, but there's one in this neighborhood and I've actually see women going through them. It is not visually pleasing. I always turn around and go 'crazy people' in my head.
I have seen cloths with tags on them before. I guess I just go to way to many places... book business... argh!

Book business? Like a used book store? I don't know how I'd find some of the books I did without those. That reminds me, I should see if the one up in Redding has Labyrinth.
I hope Kreai comes back before I leave on Saturday! D:

Not exactly. She sells them on ebay and half.com. Some on amazon. The kitchen has become a working area. Books floor to ceiling. My room already has four complete shelves, so I can't really complain, but we have trouble opening the front door, their are sooo many.
If you found it I would came and take it ^^. I got one of the promotional posters at a convention. Also, I have the paperback Dark Crystal.
Ummm... you know, if you want to add some minor character to carry on the plot, I wouldn't be opposed to it. Like the programmer guy I just added.
