This computer game is currently my favourite on PC; has anyone else heard of it? If not, I'll give you the basic setting and storyline.

You take the character of a time-space 'jumper' named Gage Blackwood, and in the introduction of the game it tells you what year the setting is and what's happening. The Cyrollen race (aliens who are allied with the humans) came to earth 10 years prior to the game's present time, in order to protect the humans from other alien races who may cause a hassle with earth or with humans. During the introduction, a second race of alien are introduced by the name of Crothalas, who are described as 'butchers' by the Cyrollen leader. These Crothalas are on a crash-course for earth, and nothing the Cyrollen ambassador or her defenses can stop them.
Anyway, it's up to Gage to time-jump to three time distortion caused by another space-time jumper named Michelle, who betrayed Gage ten years ago and got zapped into the time stream with Gage's 'virus', Arthur. In these three time frames, Gage finds pieces of a code left by Michelle, and Gage is reunited with Arthur. Together they find out that the Cyrollens, allied with the humans, had battled with the Crothalas so severely that three of earths' most advanced cultures were destroyed.
Back in the present, Gage confronts the Cyrollen ambassador and makes her admit that in the distant history of earth, the three civilisations were brought up and crushed due to the influence of three ancient alien artifacts, called the Legacies. The alien race that had entrusted the artifacts to earth was called the Sosicui, and the Cyrollen and Crothala races had believed that they each alone deserved the Legacies, and so fought over them for millenia.
The three civilisations destroyed were that of Atlantis, El Dorado and Shangrila, each of which had a hidden piece of the Legacy.
Gage now has to go back in time to find and save the three Legacies in each of the cities, aproximately one day before they are due to be destroyed. The story goes on that each of the Legacies are found in time, but the Crothalas had reached earth and were submitting an attack on the TSA base. The Cyrollen troups demanded that the humans hand over the now-complete Legacy, as did the attacking Crothalas. Gage, trying to protect the Legacy, is posessed briefly by a Sosicui spirit, who had lodged himself in the Legacy, and instructed the alien races to leave earth and to stop fighting for the Legacy, which it said belonged to the humans.

Aaand that's the ultra-basic storyline of Legacy of Time. It's a really good game, and if anyone's heard of it, will you drop a line? If you haven't heard of it but want to play it, I think you're out of luck... it's a pretty old game, but if you asked a sell-back store and second hand shop, you might find one.

Anyways, that's enough jabbering from me. Time to run! *goes off into the distance humming the theme music*
