Alexia picked the other end up and helped to kick it. She didn't want to be useless. "Why were your eyes so distant just then?" She asked with curiosity in her voice.

Acheron looked towards Alexia as she spoke. "Were they? oh i'm sorry i was just thinking about how everything and change so suddenly in just one night." he sighed.
"But i guess that what you would call life right?".
Kicking out two more legs the table started to lean towards the floor now.
"with half it's legs gone, we could probably break it in half if we hit the right spot"
He did a spinning kick but only managed to dent the middle of the table alittle bit.
I think that hurt my leg more then the table. "what is this stuff made of?"

Alexia shrugged and started to knock on the table. She couldn't find a weak point but just when she gave up she found one right on the end in the middle. She pointed there and smiled. "There kick there it will break."

Acheron nodded. "Okay i'll try there" he said as he took a step back, using all his might he did a spin kick like before hitting the point that Alexia had pointed out.
the only thing was he put to much force behind it, the table broke and Acheron landed in the middle of the mess. "Ouch, now dont i fell like an idiot" he said shaking his head.
He stood up dusting himself of when he noticed his hand was bleeding. Frowning he pulled the piece of wood out and through it on the ground, his action only cause it to bleed more.
This would have been okay..... if he wasn't in a house full of vampires.

Had she imagined the grin that she had seen appear on his face just then? She pondered this before she was quickly aware that he had pulled her closer to him. She felt her face grow warm in the water, there was no doubt in her mind that she had a full flush on her cheeks at that moment. She desperately hoped that he didn't notice it in the dimness.
As he lips touched her own she was surprised how humanly they felt to her, she had imagined it feeling a bit more chilling considering he wasn't of this world anymore. Her eyes had shut when he had leaned in but she couldn't resist flickering them open just once to look at his face. His lips were quite tender, and she felt them part slightly so that she could intake the air that he had summoned for her. She was grateful for this ability.
She felt him beginning to pull back but she wasn't quite ready yet. She held fast to his form and thought "Just a little longer... Please?" Sure that no one could hear her being a human. She moved into the kiss gently adding a slightly more pressure to it before finally loosening her hold. She was sure her cheeks were more ablaze at this point. She was definitely enjoying this moment with Darious.

Hearing Vexous sigh and her exclamation, he nodded in silent agreement with her. He wasn't one to want to offend a Dragon, let alone a Chimera and figured it would be best to stay on more pleasant terms with the beauty. "I have not tried that actually. Normally I just take what I want, be it to kill it or attaining it. But I wouldn't mind your approach." He gave her a small smile before she leapt their mount.

Following her, he landed gracefully next to her in a crouch and stood. His eyes on the strange female below them. His eyes narrowed slightly, he recognized what she was in an instant. "Vexous, be careful of that one." He said in a growl. Then an idea came to him, his face slowly changed back into it's calm demeanor with it's usual smirk playing about his lips. "We could use her actually. She'll give you the strength you need. Though we'll play it your way since these are your parts... For now." He sent the thought to solely her, not wanting for the pair below to hear them since Vexous had a new plan of action. He then added questioning her, "Is that the male you call 'Acheron'?" His head tilted slightly to the right in curiosity, like that of a small child watching a bug inch it's way on the earth.

Darious was a little shocked when she didn't pull back when he had meant, at first he thought that she need more air, but then the kiss, as light and as gentle as it had been it had made him dizzy, he closed his eyes and returned with with the slightest bit of passion, not wanted to alarm her, and there was the small fact that they were still under water.
Once she'd pulled back he loosened his grip on her and entwined his hand with hers again. He was scared that he was slightly flushed, he couldn't really tell if he was or not, so he started swimming again, a smile reached across his lips and he hoped she couldn't see it, that small moment at been the moment of happiness he never thought he'd get as a spirit.
As they entered the tunnel it seemed to climb upwards and after about a minute or two they could see the dimmest bit of light, they would be there in a couple of strokes.

Vexous rolled her eyes at Acheron as he fell. "Yes that pathetic weakling is the one, the son of that bastard".
she shock her head as the smell of blood hit her. "to think she let that thing near me." She didn't realise it but her wound had stopped hurting and her body was finally healing. Maybe she's given up. she thought to herself.
Vexous smiled as she stood. "time to get me some clothes i think"
Walking along the roof top she could see in the distance the window that connected to her room.

Alex nodded at Kaedo when the voice stated that he wasn't alone. "Oh, I hadn't meant to imply that you weren't with him...But that there was no one physically with him." She thought for a moment. "Unless I am still wrong." She looked into his eyes as they began to walk towards their destination, searching for an answer.

Alex looked away from Kaedo and ran ahead a few steps and spun around, allowing excitement to flow through her body. "So, what's this garden like anyways?" She had a bright smile on her face and she was walking backwards in front of Kaedo now.

She was glad that he didn't pull away from her and had seemed to enjoy the moment too. As it ended and he took her hand and began to move through the water with her through the tunnel, Araceli was still in a moment of bliss as she could make out the faint glimmer growing closer. They continued on their pace in the water seeming to quicken in swimming strokes, it wouldn't be long till they broke surface. As they propelled upwards to the light now, Araceli felt the slight current now pushing her body upwards to the surface. As she popped up into the air she let out a large gasp as her body settled back into the water. She was curious as to where they ended up, her eyes adjusted to the large room that they were in quickly. It seemed bare but had lighting along the walls here and there. A large staircase missing a banister seemed to trail up to one side and into the darkness.

Turning to look to Darious, she smiled and said "We made it. Now, where do we go from here." They were back in the castle, and she still was quite unfamiliar with the place.

"Hmmm..." Vincent studied the man with the bleeding hand before turning to follow Vexous shortly after she left. The female below still bothered him. She was extremely familiar to him though he recognized what she was there was still something about her that he couldn't quite grasp at. "Now how do you propose we go about your plan lady?" He asked as they made it to the window she was moving towards. He opened easily with his hands and held it open for her as he waited to hear the rest of her thoughts on the situation they were about to create.

Alexia giggled and smiled at him. She nodded and laughed again.

Acheron couldn't help but smile at Alexia. "thats not very funny you know, it hurt alot" he told her with a small laugh of his own.

Darious came up after Araceli and seemed to glide out of the water and onto a soft ground. Reaching out his hand to her he looked around. "to be honest i have no clue how to get out of here... i know that the stair case leading to the castle in behind those rocks" he told her pointing towards them. "but to which side is behind is the question." he finished with a frown.
"well at least it's better then being stuck under water hey?" he smiled at her and began to walk in any odd direction. "well we better get looking then"

Vexous giggled at his action, she bowed before him before entering the window with a shift jump that made no sound as she landed.
Her room full of black and red lace and dark oak furniture looked eire under the moon light.
"home sweet home!" moving towards a wardrobe she swing it open and started rummaging through the clothes. "Well i was thinking that we could pretend to be the good guys, for a while at least until there guards are down enough to stab them in the backs." she licked her lips as she found what she was looking for, a long black lace dress with a red underlay that could be seem through the slits in the dress, to top it all off it came with a black corset, leather of course.
"we'll pretend that you saved me and reverted me back to the other nice vexous, and have alittle fun". unzipping her dress from the back she let it drop to the floor underneath she only wore a small pear of black underwear.

Alexia laughed again. "Yes it was you know it."

Kaedo silently nodded his head after a moment of considering what Alex had said. “And what would you mean by that? Do we not look to be in the same body to you? Or do you think me to be a ghost inhabiting this poor fool’s body for some unknown reason?” He said while glancing over at Alex, his eyes glimmering slightly as a mischievous grin crept across his face before he turned about. “Well if you were to ask this one he would say that he could only wish he would be left to his own body and that you would leave this one alone.” Kaedo added with a bit of a pout in his voice. “This one does not know what or where this other self came from, but he does indeed seem to be a person of his own at times that he does….”

“Well the garden is… it is… well this one does not really know, he never spent too much time in the garden. This one was kept in the dungeon area that he was.” Kaedo added as though thinking about it. “Your such a dolt! You were just there eilier you moron!” The other voice remarked loudly and then looking back to Alex he added. “It is vary… vary elegant, I suppose one could say. I don’t believe that I’ve ever seen any thing like it before my time in imprisonment. Perhaps its healing propities are what attracted us here in the first place.” He said as though he was considering it. “This one think it best you face forward to walk once we get to the stairs so you don’t fall down, that he does.” Kaedo then added with a laugh as he watched Alex happily walking back ward before him.

“I think perhaps well take a short cut.” The other voice added as he pulled a shiny trinket out of one of the pockets in his roughed up cloak. “What do you say my dear. Do you wish to give it a try?”


After the long mornful howl, Mikhial then started his way back to the castle. Even thought he was still realitively new the location he could still pick out its smell on the wind easily. But there was something strange about the sent and the smells that wafted from the villiage in the distance as well. It was a smell that Mikhial was vary familiuar with. Fire and lots of it. There had to have been with the amount of smoke that was wafting in his direction from the villiage. "What could... could... have happend while I was gone.... My Lady?" Mikhial pondered to himself as he came closer to the castel. Seeing that a vampire was near to the entrance, Mikhial made his way along the tree line until he came to the side of the castle. Once sure he was out of sight from the main entrance, he made his way accrose to one of the windows and carefuly slipped inside while still holding Nix close to him in his arms.


((Mikhial is some where near that church place thing that Araceli came from. And hes with Nix. Kendra told me that she might not be coming back to mene in time soon. She’s pretty busy with her new job and her computer is still busted ish. So I figured I would just put Nix’s body in the castle some where and continue on with Mikhial.))

Alex felt bad when Kaedo asked what she meant. "No no! I didn't mean that...I guess, I don't know what I mean anymore..." She laughed nervously. "Sorry...I didn't mean to offend you." She looked away from him still walking backwards. "I imagine that not having a body of your own...or not having it to yourself, would suck. But it can't be that bad can it? I mean you've always got someone there to talk to right?" She was trying to be optimistic for him. Her voice was perky and she was smiling at him again.

Alex couldn't wait to see the garden and her mind was wandering. "You know, you should be nicer to him." She was talking to the voice, unsure of what to call him. "People are allowed to be forgetful sometimes. Besides, a lot has happened since then." She smiled again and turned around, taking into account what Kaedo had said. Her hands were clasped behind her back and her head was tilted up slightly. She began whistling as she imagined what the garden looked like.

Alex stopped and turned her head towards Kaedo when the voice mentioned a shortcut. A glimmer caught her eye as he pulled something from his pocket. "I guess." She was wary for a moment but went with it anyways, ignoring her gut feeling.

((Right before I typed up the dialogue in that last paragraph my mind went blank. I felt that that would be a good cliffhanger. But maybe that's just me...))

Araceli smiled at Darious and nodded in agreement to his statement about being stuck underwater. As he held out his hand towards her, she swam closer to the edge of the water where he stood before reaching her own out and grasping his. As their skin made contact with one another, she blushed slightly; her mind going back to the moment that had just previously passed. Lowering her head as he helped lift her out of the water, she stepped onto the stone landing that surrounded the large empty chamber. Her eyes lifted to the ceiling, then back around to the other smooth walls. They seemed to be in a room that was shaped as a cylinder. "I really wonder what this place was used for. I guess we'll find out the purpose once we see where it leads us."

She paused to wring out her clothes a bit, her cape was extremely heavy as it was weighed down with water but she was feeling quite alright at the moment. "Alright, let's see what we can find and figure out where Vexous is. I just pray she hasn't caused more trouble. Though I have to wonder who that male was that she was with. Have you seen him at the castle before Darious?" She turned her eyes on him in question as she began to move towards the staircase.

The stairs seemed to go on for a long while in the dark, there were a few torches lit here and there but it was still poorly lit. "At least I can actually see in here unlike the water." She thought briefly, a small frown appeared on her face as her brows seemed to knit together creating a small dent in the middle of her forehead where they met. Finally they came to a large oak door where she paused to turn and look at Darious to make sure he was still there before looking back to the door. She was just making sure that he was still there, not that she had anticipated that he would ever leave her. She was just unaccustomed to his ability to make no sound as he moved.

Placing her hands on the door, she lightly pushed on it and was happy to see that it moved with ease. Light filtered through the crack she had created, it grew as she pushed further to give them enough room to slip through. She could hear faint voices down and off to her left as she slipped into a corridor of the castle. She strained her ears to see if she could make anything out hoping that they were friendly and not someone ready to attack them.


Vincent slipped inside with ease after Vexous, and turned to shut the window in case anyone was in the area. That was the last thing that they needed, for someone to blow their cover. He listened to her plan as she hunted through her wardrobe for something else to wear, his back to her with his hands behind, the right clasping the left at the wrist. He was watching through the window for any movement, his eyes scanning the forest floor that he could see.

"The 'Nice Vexous'..." He muttered finally. He chuckled softly at that. "The female that was pursuing you with the spirit in tow, and that Acheron... Do you think this plan will truly work?" He turned to look at her now as he asked the question at the moment her dress dropped. His eyes lowered then moved upwards over her lithe figure, a small smile tugged at the corner of one side of his lips as he moved closer to her.

They stood in silence for a brief moment before he brought his right hand around and cupped the side of her face tilting upwards towards him. His thumb smoothed over her cheek and down towards her jaw as his eyes fell on her luscious red lips. He leaned down towards her as his other arm encircled her slender waist and brought her closer to him, his face inches away from her own. His eyes looked back into hers' briefly with almost a predatorilal look in them. He brought his own lips down onto hers', his lips catching her bottom one in between with slight pressure as he quickly nicked her lip with his teeth. It was a small cut, which he intended to create causing her lip to bleed only slightly. He caught the small few droplets with his tongue before pulling back from her slowly, replacing his hands back behind his back as he had done so moments before.

An amused expression was on his face as he said, "I suppose you had better get dressed so when get this plan in motion then."

Darious and Araceli had been wondering for what seemed like forever. Darious had no clue what so ever where they were or where they were going. Walking slowing side by side together he looked at their surroundings trying to recognize anything that may help them find a way out. Looking around he could see a number of rocks that all looked the same which only made him sigh.
He looked over at Araceli with a frown on his face a shrugged his shoulders, “I always did suck had finding my way around this place, my brother thought it funny to lock me down there.” He told her with a small laugh. “Guess I still haven’t learnt.”
“if I’m right, we go this way.” He told Araceli pointing towards the sound of the soft voices. “I think I can hear Acheron.”

Acheron smiled at the Vampire Angel. “Why are you all so mean to me.” He replied with a laugh, joking around alittle. Bending over he picked up half of the table they had just broke as he went to move it he thought he hurt voices coming from beneath him. He looked down at his feet and frowned, “No one would be down there would they?” he asked aloud. “Hmm must me my imagination.”

“I have no idea if it’ll work on the women and the spirit, but Acheron will most certainly fall for it.” She told him with her back still facing him. Looking over her shoulder she saw him turn Vexous smiled Vincent as he had stood in front of her in silence, she was alittle surprised by what happened next, he had come to her, touched her and as she thought he was going in for a kiss her he did something that made her body hot. The moment his fang had pierced her lip she’d clenched her dress to her he body went on fire, as he pulled away she wanted to pull him back, but she knew that in her current condition if he were to feed from her she would most properly die from it.
Licking her lips she savored the taste of him. “Now now Vincent you are indeed a cruel beast.” Her seductive side wanted to come out and play, turning away from him she pulled her dress on and began to fasten the corset.
Facing him now she continued. “We can play later, but for now I need to make it look like you’re the handsome hero who saved the day.” She told him in a sarcastic voice.
Moving towards him she circled him once running her hand over his body as she went.
“don’t worry you won’t have to play that role for long, the women and the spirit are here now too”

Alexia picked up the other half and wondered why she was hearing voices of some sort. She shrugged it off assuming there was no basement since Acheron didn't seem to hear it.

Acheron smile at Alexia "thanks for your help by the way."
after several minutes the two of them managed to clean the whole place. They removed all the burnt areas and items that would no longer work.
pulling a piece of chalk from his pocket he started to draw what looked like a strange circle on the floor.
"Alexia you may need to sit on the bench or something, standing on the floor wont be the best thing to do while i'm fixing the place." he told her.

She nodded and did as she said watching what Acheron was doing. She wondered what was happening but said nothing.

"Your brother use to lock you down here? How cruel!" She exclaimed turning her head to look at him after he had told her this. Shaking her head slowly she looked ahead of them, her eyes wandering over the walls and on the flooring checking for any sort of possible traps. She was just being cautious was all, they had already been through a lot this evening. Her mind wandered back to the Were person and the Vampire that she had encountered in the cathedral that was once called "home". She wondered what became of them and actually began to take pity on them which was strange considering the Were had taken what remained of a makeshift family for her.

Her attention was brought back to the present as Darious pointed out the way to go and commented on possibly hearing Acheron. "He's alright then." She smiled with relief, fo she had feared in their absence Vexous may have gotten back into the castle and finished Acheron off in his recovering state. She nodded in agreement to Darious' decision in which way to go and started walking that way still cautious. Her smile began to fade as she realized she was going to have to tell him she had failed him in trying to subdue Vexous. Failure was not an option in her eyes, anger flared in her briefly as she vowed to get the Vampiress as soon as she could.

After Vexous pulled on her dress and began fastening her corset, he turned to look out the window once again thinking he had possibly seen a flicker of movement out there. His thoughts were disturbed by Vexous' touch as she circled him, his head moved to her direction as she mad her comment of 'playing the handsome hero'.

"Vexous," he chuckled. "I am the handsome hero, but you're right about being a cruel one." He laughed more openly now amused at the sarcasm in her voice and at the game they were about to play. "Killing Acheron will be easy then. As for the woman and spirit, they shouldn't prove to be too much of a problem." His face shifted from being amused to a look of intrigue as he asked, "How do you know for fact that they are in these walls?" He was curious about this and possibly what else she could tell him. Moving to her doorway to the rest of the castle he asked, "Shall we then?" as he motioned to the closed door.

Acheron placed the chalk back in his pocket as he stood over the circle he had just drawn. “I don’t have a lot of power, but I can at least do this.”
Taking a deep breath he summoned his powers and imagined a new kitchen, dark oak tables and chairs, a corner bar, the stove, the microwave, the fridge and anything else he could think of.
This began to move around him, not only that but they seemed to build themselves right in front of him then the settled where they were meant to be, the walls became a shade of violet while tiles appeared on the floor, “black and red” he said aloud and they turned that color.
Everything seemed new and alive; you couldn’t even tell that the place had been burnt.
But he wasn’t done, he created an image of a door that connected to the underground garden by a passageway filled with stairs, [I]That’s much better than a trapped door.[I]
“last but not least red silk table cloths.” Opening his eyes he smiled and nodded at his work. “okay I need to sit down now.” Taking a seat sweat covered his brow and he looked really run down. “Been a long time since I’ve used that much energy, it’s okay now you can get down.” He told Alexia.

Darious laughed at Araceli’s remark. “Believe me that how they showed they loved me!” He didn’t seem shaken up at all by it, in reality it was those memories that proved he was once alive, he cherished the good and the bad equally. “my family were nobles, I was the youngest so they didn’t really need me for anything, they had their hair, and a number of other sons they could marry of to get more riches, I was fine with that, they left me alone most of the time.” He told her with a smile on his face.
Darious shut up as soon as she said ‘home’, “Oh sorry, I wasn’t thinking… you know if you wanted to, I mean once things are back to normal, you could all this place home, I mean only if you wanted to…….” He tailed of a little embarrassed, but he was only trying to make her feel better and look to the future. “things can only get better right.”

“Speaking of the devil, he knows he shouldn’t use magic!” Darious gritted his teeth. “His bodies not strong enough, the idiot!” Picking up the pace they head for the kitchen.

“I’ve surprised that the other vampires haven’t sensed us yet, considering I can feel everyone in this castle.” Vexous looked up at Vincent, “You better Catch me” she told him just before jumping up into his arms.
“After turning back to my ‘weaker’ self I’m pretty darn weak, so to make it look real you’ll have to carry me down stairs, handsome hero.” She told him with a cheeky grin on her face as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Concentrating on her appearance now she made herself look extremely pale, paler then she already was and caused the color in her eyes to fade, she looked sick and fragile. “Convincing enough?”

Alexia smiled and she walked over and sat down next to him. "I didn't know people could still do that." She said and looked at him with new awe.

"It's nothing special, something i got from my Fathers side of the family." taking long deep breathes he was regaining his strength slowly. "But as you can can, i dont use it very often so when i do, it really takes it out of me." Smiling at Alexia he leaned back in his chair. "A long time indeed, if Darious found out i did this he'd kill me just to bring me back and kill me again." He told her with a hind of laughter.

Alexia smiled and laughed at this she wondered how someone so much older than her could have such a great sense of humor.

Araceli smiled at Darious as he had explained about his past and the way things were with his family. "You were the youngest?" She asked rhetorically, her brows rising in surprise. "I thought for some reason you'd be one of the older ones, you just have... I don't really know how to put this, but a strange elderly aire about you Darious." She laughed aloud after she had said this. She was in no way trying to be rude or mean, Darious was just mature and seemed to have a sort of old wisdom about him. Though it probably had something to do with him being a spirit for some time. She blushed at this thought hoping she truly didn't offend him which was the last thing that she wanted to do.

When he mentioned this castle now being called her home after things settled, she looked at him in surprise, her blush deepening to rival Darious' own. "Wha- What?" She asked. she had stopped walking to look at him. She had been thinking about the cathedral and was sure she hadn't verbalized it at the time a couple minutes ago.

"Did he read my mind?" She asked herself. "No matter." Her expression changed to a warm smile, the blush still apparent. "Darious... I um- I would love to live with you here. Thank you." She stepped closer to him, and lifted her face to his and quickly placed a kiss on his left cheek before stepping back. She was truly happy at that moment and wanted things to stay that way.

"He's using magic already?" Araceli blinked before following Darious in the direction of what was the kitchen she guessed. She had felt a weird vibration in the air as they quickly made their way there. The two came to another flight of stairs reaching upwards which they made there way up quickly before pushing open another large oak door. "Acheron?" Araceli called out after they made it into yet another corridor of the castle. "Darious," She whispered "How big is this place?" She asked giggling softly. She was wondering if she'd ever be able to navigate through here on her own eventually.


"Sense them, I cannot at the moment. Perhaps the reason being this is all unfamiliar territory to me my lady. I can sense other things in these walls though." His eyes wandered over the walls to emphasize the point before coming back to rest on hers.

He caught her with ease, grinning at her as she again referred to him as 'the handsome hero'. After she gave an explanation of everything and grew paler, he responded to her question about whether she were convincing enough or not. "Vexous, you're a woman with interesting talents." He said leaning his face in to her own and nuzzling the side of her head a bit. "Alright. The stage is set then. Anything else that I should be aware of before taking you to the dogs?" He asked as he slowly opened her bedroom door out to the hallway.

Darious realized something just then, Araceli’s Telepathic, now that I think about it it makes sense . If it wasn’t for her short period of panic he wouldn’t have noticed that she didn’t speak and say ‘home’ she thought it. Biting his bottom lip he didn’t know what to make of it. there’s always a good change that human turn out telepathic was it is rare. Not wanting to mention it he was relieved when she said that she’d love to live with him. “Really….” Escaped his lips.
Before he could say anything else she kissed him, it was only on the cheek but it felt so much deeper, if he had blood flowing through his dead body he’d be blushing.
He stood there for a minute before raising his hand to graze across the area she’d kissed, a smile spread across his face.
But before he could say anything she was moving, “Acheron is human, but due to an incident a while back Vexous had to injected her own blood into to save him, he’s about 150 something, but you didn’t hear that from me.” He told her with a wink.
“So you can know see how he would heal quickly, he’s not a Vampire or anything he just doesn’t age anymore.”
Stopping beside her as she whispered to him. “You’ve seen the outside right, this place is huge, I bet there’s even areas I haven’t seen yet.” Walking behind a small stair case he frowned. “I wonder if this will work, remember when I told you there are secret passage ways from one end of the castle to the other, I think I’ve used this one before.”
Placing a hand on the wall an outline of a door appeared. “Interesting.”

Standing up Acheron made his way over to the new fridge. “Would you like something to drink?” he asked Alexia, as he grabbed himself a glass of water.

Vexous smiled in Vincent’s arms. “There are a lot of lost souls in the walls, it’s why I love this place so much, it’s always an excitement, except for when they like to play games.”
Vexous waited for him to finish as they excited her room. “Just be ready for one hell of a fight, this could get messy.”
