Hearing a knock on the door, Kayla, a small girl of nine shyly answered, though she knew it was against the rules. "Hey, they don't give me enough freedom in this place anyways," she thought. She opened the door and came face to face with another small girl like her. "Hi!" she began cheerily, but then her voice softened to a whisper: "Umm...what are you doing here?"

kimmy didnt let the door open all the way she ran into the castle "close the door quick." she was breathing heavy "please hide me." she was about to cry she was holding onto her dress that was baiscly destroyed "they are after me hide me please." she knew she wass repeating herself but she was wanting to get away.

Kayla knew that the girl's situation had to have been horrible, especially when she heard the ominous knocking on the steel door. Kayla was too small to reach the big, heavy lock on the door, so she grabbed her by the hand and whispered, "Come on! I know this place where no one will ever find us!" Then the two started to run.

"thank you." she was running with the girl she didnt even know her name "im kimmy." that was all she said until she heard that the people chaising her were knocking on the door then she ran even faster then kayla not even sure were she was going out of fear.

They continued to run, and even now Kayla was scared that somehow Kimmy's pursuers would eventually break into the castle. She flashed a pearly white smile at her and said, "I'm Kayla! I know this is a really weird place to meet and all, but nice to meet you!" They continued to run until they reached a small door, also made of steel. Kayla yanked it open, let Kimmy in, shut the door and locked it. The room was rather bright looking for such an old dreary castle, so it was much easier for the children to see one another. With a sigh, Kayla said, "OK, we should be safe in here."

Darious raised on of Araceli's hand to the place just over his heart. "Then i am yours now and forever." he told her as he bent down to kiss her lightly on the lips. using his other hand he wiped away the tears that were falling down her checks, before kissing her check. There's no way i could turn her down, not after finding a person like her after all these years. he smiled down at her. "Kinda ironic hey, i had to die to find my soul mate!?"

Vexous sat up straight. "hmm i hear little feet running around my castle, a snack maybe?" she said aloud and she remembered there were people around her. "Kidding of course, but i'll go see whats going on" she told them as she stood up slowing.
peering around corners as she went she frowned. "have they stopped somewhere?"

Her tears began to slow as she listened to what he said and as he wiped them away. A smile shone through as she peered up at him again, it was meek but there.

"Darious!" She exclaimed, "That's not funny! Well... I guess in ways it is then. My family died and I was brought here as a result. I guess I should be thanking the things that killed them that led me to you." Her smile grew a little bigger now.

"they do say that some things happen for a reason, back not all things are good, your family dieing has mad you stronger, it's made you the women you are today, the women i love." he rubbed his nose against hers before pulling her along the small corridor. "we still have a job to do right?" she smiled at her.
Darious was beyond happy, and he got to thinking, since i can touch her, would be be able to..... he shouldn't even think about it with out going red, and it takes a lot to make a ghost go red. I'm a bad man, dont think about things like that!

Araceli smiled as he said he loved her. "You're right, we do have a job to do yet." She wiped the rest of any remaining tears away and added, "I must look like an utter wreck now." She laughed and followed him out into the corridor.
"Where do we go now?" She asked looking to him and shocked to find him beet red. "Darious? Are you alright?" She let out another laugh as they walked.

He panicked alittle. "i'm fine, not thinking dirty thoughts or anything, nope not me" he coughed a little. With a quick attempt to change the subject he started talking about something else. "your beautiful and dont let anyone else tell ya differently."
they soon came to the end of the tunnel and exited next to the new kitchen. "MY CASTLE! nooooooooo it looks like a pimped up pad." he pulled a sad face before becoming a little angry. "if Acheron's not already dead, i'll kill him myself!"

Araceli paused in her step then laughed her cheeks had a dusting of pink to them. "Wha-?! About...?" As he changed the subject quickly she smiled, "As long as you continue to think so." It was then that they emerged into the kitchen finally, Darious obviously upset with the way the kitchen now looked. "I actually don't think that its that bad." She commented moving around the room. Her stomach growled a little as she realized she was hungry and grabbed a small piece of bread. Hey, it was her home now right, so she could eat if needed to.

Darious bottom lip quivered. "it's ment to look all old and stuff, it doesn't match the rest of the castle!" he sat himself down in a chair, more like he floated through it till he found the bottom of it. sighing he flicked the table cloth with his finger, but it just went right through. "odd how i can sit on things but not touch them with my hands." he frowned.

He heard movement in the living room area and his mood brightened alittle. "i guess you should meet your new house mates right?"

She frowned unable to think of something more positive to say chewing the bread in silence. "Maybe Acheron can do the rest of the castle, or change this room back?" She asked trying to be hopeful.
She watched as he tried touching the table cloth, "I don't understand that as well. After time and patience perhaps you'll be able to touch more things." She smiled. "You are still growing in that aspect." She smiled sweetly.

"Ah." She gulped a little suddenly nervous, "Hopefully they don't dislike me." She nodded her head and moved to the door, "Shall we then?"

Ignoring the point about changing the rest of the castle, yeah over my head body, Acheron your going down boy WAY down.
"i guess i am working on it hey" he told her with a wink he couldn't help but let his eyes drift over her. Giving himself a mental slap he made himself focus.
"yep we should." he smiled back her as he answered her question. "they'll like you i know it." he told her with confidence. "And Acheron wouldn't be against it, i think he likes you"
Standing he waited for her to follow before moving on.

She nodded her head as she was glad she managed to get his mood to lift a bit seeing the wink.
"Alright then." She said, "This shouldn't be a problem for anyone I guess. I'm glad Acheron approves." She said tapping an index finger to her chin as she followed him down the hallway to make their way to where the others were.

"hi all long time no see?" he called out to the random people in the living room. "so did i miss anything, apart from the kitchen please dont mention the kitchen to me!" he told them. someone laughed at him and another answered "no i dont think you've missed much Darious." another Welcome them back, and the last nodded his head towards Araceli "who's the foxy lady?"
"Darious smiled, this is Araceli, she'll be staying here from now on" he exclaimed to then.
they soon started to talk amongst themselves. "Lady Vexous said that a women by that name was out to kill her.
"What?" darious frowned, "do you mean to say youve seen her? she's here?"

Araceli stayed quiet as Darious conversed with the others, she smiled and gave a wave as she was introduced. "It's nice to meet you all." She liked being called 'a foxy lady', made her feel even lovelier. She frowned as she heard what the woman said about Vexous and her supposedly trying to kill the lady. "That is furthest from the truth." She said calmly, "Darious and I were trying to help her on behalf of Acheron's wishes."
The woman nodded a wary expression as she looked back to Darious and answered."Oh she's here alright, with quite a good looking young man. I think Vexous may have found her match!" She laughed and fluttered her fan over herself.

Araceli looked to Darious, a worried expression as she said, "We need to find them." Turning back to the woman she asked, "Where did they all go?"
With a shrug the woman responded, "Not sure, they all left when some girl wolf transformed and was pretty much naked and ran out. Poor thing." She said again fluttering her fan.

Tania felt a cool relief flood her face, and opened her eyes to the man from earlier. She was staring straight at his neck, mesmerized. "So...Hungry..." she muttered, standing and walking toward's him. She stared at one point on his neck, and leaned forward, slowly sinking her fangs in. She wrapped her arms around his broad shoulders and leaned farther in, draining him. "This, this is wrong, I shouldn't feed on him!" she thought, unable to stop.

Josephine watched as Acheron ran out of the room, then turned back in interest as two more people walked in through the kitchen. One seemed to be a spirit, but the other was a normal human. 'Another human? I wonder if this one will be changed as well?' she thought to herself, before turning away and headed the direction Acheron had gone.

((No its fine, Vincent was going to offer anyway at one point.))

He was shocked that the female Tania had latched onto him fiercely and began to drink from his neck. If she had known who he was she would never have done such a bold act. He let it slid as he held her close letting her drink what he felt was appropriate before delving into her mind. "You need to let go now Tania. You've had enough." His hands found her own and began to pull them off as best as he could.

Tania looked up at him, trance broken. She backed away with some difficulty, wanting to pull back to his delicous blood. "I'm sorry," she told him, "I-I was just so...hungry, and you were right there, and," she broke off, blushing like a little girl. "What was I thinking? He probably just came to aologize to me, and I tried to eat him!" she thought, frowning. She looked back over at him, and smiled at what she saw, 'He's handsome,' she noticed.

Tania looked down at her clothes, they were stained with blood. She sighed, the blush fading as she gathered her other clothing in a large basin, and headed towards her bathroom, intent on washing them.

Vexous heard talking from where she'd just come from, Josephine it's the spirit and the human isn't it? she called out with her mind, we need to get Acheron out of here before they find us. she sent to both Vincent and Josephine.
heading up the stairs she saw Acheron near the top. "Why are you just standing here?"

Acheron was alittle shocked to see Vexous up, "My Lady i, Vincent has it under control, i wasn't needed."

Darious frowned "she must have come back with that other vampire we saw her with in town!" he began to think. "Tania came back by the sounds of it, they might be near her room... but i dont see why that would be it's day time outside and she's new to being a vampire, where would they have gone?"

Vincent smiled slightly before responding to her, "Its alright. You should probably be fed more though." He sighed glancing out to the hallway before back to her. "I apologize for laughing so rudely earlier Tania." He was sincere in his words before noticing she was staring at him a brow raised as he looked amused before she took her clothing to her bathroom.

Sighing he looked back to the hallway, he heard Vexous' message and decide to meet her where Acheron was. "So, shall we then go to this room? Vexous seems that she can stand and walk on her own."

Josephine perked up her ears, "So you haven't gone to the side of that mamby pamby wizard?" She grinned evily, "I will gladly help you, just tell me where to go." She said, headed for the stairs, she was near the top when she heard Vexous and Acheron talking. She halted, and went to a corner largly in shadow where she could hear everything.

"Oh no... Then he's here as well?" She looked horrified at the sound of this. "Should we check Tania's room to make sure she's alright? What if they got to her?" She was beginning to grow worried again as the situation seemed to be getting worse by the minute.

Tania smiled at his apology, it sounded sincere enough. She finished washing her clothes, and hung them out to dry. She dug around her room, finding one of Acheron's overlarge t-shirts that she had forgotten to give back. She slipped it on, and found a new pair of pants before walking down the hall to one of the guest rooms. She started to tidy up, preparing it for Vincent to stay there, if he didn't already have a room.
