@Jelly- I know, and people/kids always act like its weird om on the internet at all. Sometimes I think they go out of their way just to make me feel like a creepy old person too.

My grandmother swears up and down her house is haunted, and every time one of her wind chimes (of which she has hundreds) rings its my grandfather doing it. I dont think grandpa would be ringing the things because he used to hate them when he was still alive >.<

my mom never did so much when i was sick besides, "don't forget to take your medicine" "get some rest" and random calls whenever i was actually sleeping xD

My dad would always come home early and come home at lunch when i was sick...mostly to make sure i wasn't faking and he would make soup for me but just the stuff in the can!

@Naoto: Oh that's good. Home made soup always makes you feel better I noticed. I just had a bowl full of garden rice, so I'm happy and full. >w<

my mom was too busy to come home >.< and i never really could fake, well i never really had to, i was always sick.

One thing I always hated about gaia was when they found out you were over 16 and they would think your a pervert or a nerd with no friends it would always piss me off to no end *gasps for breath and takes breath from oxygen tank*

Jelly: yup i dose the last time my mom made me chicken soup was when me and my brothers were all sick with the flu >.>

@Shaddow: My mom was only able to come home for lunch when we would still live close enough to her work, which we do again now. xD And I never was good at faking the flu either. And with my family it was always unless you are bleeding, dying, or have a temp of 99+ then you're going to school.

@Naoto: I haven't had home made soup in 10 years, since my Grandma made it for me the last time.

Jelly: I think thats the last time i've had home made soup!! but it was so damn good!!

@Naoto: My grandmother used to even make the broth from cooking a chicken. Nom, nom, nom. I should see if my Mom would be willing to make it for me.

I never had to fake the flu when i always really had strep. After a while it came down to a science, call the doc, get the script, go home rest a day and go back to school, even though i was suposed to rest 3 days technically. =/ that and bronchitis, and a few times it was mono =[

I only got strep once and that was in 3rd grade and all I remember was having a migraine and my throat hurt too much to talk yet I yelled at my teacher to keep the lights off because my head hurt and my throat hurt and then I passed out which I do a lot when I have a fever :oops:

i've had a few... fainting spells, and i only remember two of them
one when i was younger, i was going from like the kitchen to i was headed to the living room i think, and i remember the room turning monochrome, and like time slowing and like getting down onto the carpet in the livingroom still like looking and reaching for the couch before passing out.
and then in my jr year, right before i left, when i had mono, i feinted on my way back to my room from the bathroom, waking up in time to feel my face smash against my door frame.

Thats second one is an ouchie!!

Whenever I pass out I think I'm awake and I try to respond to people but I'm really not and its really funny to hear people freaking out because I passed out and I'm responding like a person who's high :lol::rofl: its pretty entertaining!!

I always like how people always ask you "did you know you passed out" I always fake this horrified look and say yeah and nod then giggle a little
