No worries. :)

On topic: I used to love Chrono Trigger. Still has a soft spot for it. I couldn't tell you how many times I played it on the SNES. I would obsessively search for each ending and even when I did, i'd still play over and over. I think one of my favorite aspects, something you didn't find in many other RPGs, was the combined powers. It's the reason I loved Chrono Cross too.

Chrono Cross didn't appeal to me after I put five hours into it. It didn't follow Chrono Trigger so I just could not get into it and ended up quitting it and not finishing it.

That didn't bother me. I just treated it as a whole other entire game. Even though there was a thin connection between Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger. What that connection is escapes me right now.

But it's like Final Fantasy. Those nuances and bits and pieces carry from game to game, but on the whole they're an entire world onto themselves.

I was really hoping for a bigger connection for sure. The game was confusing to me, yes it had similarities to other role playing games, but for some reason I just could not get into it. I have it sitting on my shelf collecting dust at my home, maybe I should try to give it another chance sometime.

I'd definitely suggest picking it up again. I thought it was a great game.

And if you still can't get in to it... Well, c'est la vie. It's still nice that you still have fond memories and good feelings for Chrono Trigger. ;D

It would be super sweet if SquareEnix ever decided to create a third Chrono game. :eager:

Well I will, but right now I have Dragon Age Origins in my play station three right now. So it may be awhile before I actually pick it up again, but I assume I most likely will at some point.

Chrono Trigger was just one of those games that just hit the bulls eye that just set the bar really high in the role playing industry.
If Square Enix ever did, hopefully they would do a sequel to the Chrono Trigger with many connections. That I would purchase the night it came to the gaming stores!

Chrono Cross is one of my favorite all time games. I played it before Chrono Trigger; I didn't even know Chrono Trigger existed when I played first played Chrono Cross. Chrono Trigger is fun, but I like the story of Chrono Cross more. I keep meaning to look for Chrono Cross sheet music, but I keep forgetting.

What exactly is Radical Dreamers?

I couldn't tell you, I didn't get very far in the game.
