@fiarra - I know!! This fall is going to be fantastic... September means season 3 of Heroes on DVD. Then November brings Star Trek... it makes this Quinto fan extremely happy!

Oh Heroes... My.. other love. :heart: I need to buy all of it on DVD. Hopefully they will have sales and such once the third season is released and they start airing new eps on TV. :D

I'm crossing my fingers for them to go on sale, too! I downloaded all three seasons, but they aren't the best quality, plus I'm more of a fan of having hard-copies instead of just digital ones.

Likewise! He's pretty much my dream guy. I'd marry anyone who approached me looking that good and being that intelligent/talented/charismatic... or maybe not marry... but still. He is ideal.

I liked the first season of Heroes, but I just couldn't keep watching after that... I'm not sure if the writer's really knew what they were doing. Apparently, they had originally planned to use an entirely new cast for each season, but then decided to keep everyone when it became so popular. I think that was one reason why the second season was so overrun with characters and disjointed. But yeah, that's just me. I'm glad that the show managed to pick up for so many people... I just don't have the patience to sit through the boring Japan sequences with Hiro. xD;;

:o Hiro is my second favorite character. He's just so happy all the time. Like he has fun with his powers instead of going all *angstangstbraineat* like everyone else.

I really liked Hiro for that very reason. :3
(In the first season, anyway... he wasn't as fun in the second one).

I'll have to admit that the second season was probably my least favorite of the three so far... but that doesn't make the show any less amazing! :)

Well the second season is all sorts of weird cuz the writer's strike meant they had to cut it short. And of course they'd just introduced all these new characters.. but couldn't play with them anymore.

The true problem with the writer's strike/2nd season is, due to the strike, they had to completely remove the second half of the second season, and change the ending to tie it into the 3rd season, which they also changed to fit.

The original remainder of the second season was supposed to cover the activation and spread of the Eshanti virus and how they dealt with it- and possibly addressing the cute little Irish girl that got randomly abandoned in the future.

I hope they manage to get her back at some point, old whats-his-face has been doing an impressive job completely forgetting her.

Instead, though, they saved the vial from shattering and everyone had sunshines and rainbows.

There were a lot of other things they had to change, for the purposes of background reveals.

Pah, I would have loved a season of death and destruction..
