"At least you weren't in there all your life." he told her, "I've never been outside that facility." he reminded her, then after a pause added, "Things will calm down and then we'll be 100% free."

Yukina looked at her and then sighed."yeah...." she said softly.

Kevin sighed heavily, "Well, things will get better, I'm sure of it." he said, putting his fork down, having finished eating.

Yukina smiled at him and nodded.tehn also finished.Takeing his plate she headed into the kitchen to clean up.

Kevin laughed a little, "You didn't have to, I could have taken them." he said as she stood up. It was too late to snatch them now.

Yukina smerked."too late , and its fine i dont mind",she said filling yp the sink wih hot water and soap.

"You sure seem to be good at all this housework stuff." he said, sitting on the edge of the bed, "You would happen to have been someone else's wife, would you?" he teased.

Yukina growled some."no way",she said and looked ta him for a moment then went back toi cleaning.

Kevin was slightly startled by her response, "I was kidding, Yukina. Geez." he said and turned away from her, looking back to the tv.

Yukina sighed some as she contued to clean up and thought.'yeash , i cooked breakfest , the least he could do is help me do the dishes ...such a tipical guy!', she sighed once she was done and flopped down onto her bed.

Kevin moved over to a chair by the window when Yukina came in, thinking she needed her space. He hadn't meant to offend her with his comment, but he wasn't about to apologize after she snapped at him like that.

Yukina lissened to him move to the window.She shoulndt have snapped.But ,saying sorry agian may not work. Why was she in such a iratable mood?She wasnt ma about being stuck inside anymore ... she really wasnt. She sighed and sat up. But blinked hearing a knock at the door.

Kevin looked at the door, and then to Yukina. He moved quickly next to her and said, "Go in the bathroom and hide, I'll see who it is." he said and waited for her to go.

The knock came again.This time a bit louder.Then a cold voice called out,"open up!"

Despite the bad feeling in the pit of his stomach he nodded, not having time to argue, and walked over and turned the knob. "Hello, can I help you?" came out of his mouth instantly.

Yukina stood a little bit behind Kevin.Gently holing onto his arm.As the door nob turned the door was pushed open, a man stood at the door stareing at them.

The man looked to Yukina.His tence face started to relax."Yukina?", he asked sotly. "i-its me ... y-your dad",he said softly.

Yukina blinked and took a step back."m-my father?",she said confused.Then looked to Kevin.

Kevin glared, "A bit demanding for a concerned father. he said, then repeated in the same cold voice the guy had used before, "'Open up!'" then he moved closer to Yukina, "How do we know you're for real?" he asked.

The man sighed. "im sorry about earlyer ... but i saw the posters and recognized Yukina , shes been missing since she was four years old ... when i saw your pic i thought you may have taken her hostage, i came in here and asked the man down stairs iif he had seen Yukina , and that she was my daughter and told me you two were here"

Yukina lissened to the man , but foud it earily quite down stairs , and wouldnt [enter his name here](srry haveing a brain freez on owner/James's dad's name) come up and tell them there was somone looking for them?Just then Yukina happend to look behind her and saw that they were being watched from buildings across form the inn.Lab people were on the ruffes.But how had they found them.Then seeing traqwilizer gunns aimed at them her eyes widened."GET DOWN!", she yelled and she pulled Kevin down to the floor as the guns fierd off shooting little balls of knock out gas into the room.

When the guns fired, Kevin grabbed Yukina and pulled her along the floor into the bathroom, locking the door behind them. The knock out gas always had a small interval before they released enough to actually knock one out. HE immediately opened the window and looked out of it, judging the distance of the fall. "Ready to make a run for it?"

Yukina looked at him.Then with nod she took a deep breath."y-yeah ...",she sdi a bit nervously.

He opened the screen of the window and looked down. It was a bit of a drop, but it was short enough of one not to get hurt when one landed, "You first. I'll help lower you down." he said, "Get outside the window and grab my hands, I'll lower you as far as I can. As soon as you hit the ground change into something small and unnoticeable." he said, "I'll find you after. I'll be right behind you." he said, waiting for her to move.

Yukina stared at him but nodding she hugged him tightly and carefuly got outside the widow.
