He laughed, "Piggy back it is." he laughed again, he picked her up and helped her onto his back, "We have to go through the water first, so hold on tight while I climb out of here." he said as he started out of the cave, jumping down the rocks. He'd never actually climbed real rocks before, but it was easier than what they put him though at the institution.

He made it to the ground level and began to walk into the water, "Hold on and hold your breath." he smiled as they began to sink down.

Yukina held on tightlt as he jumpsed down the roocks the when they got to the water held her breath.

Kevin made sure he completely submerged the both of them, and came back up as quickly as he could so they didn't suffocate by drowning. He gasped for air when he came back up, and made his way back up to the shore, "Alright, Yukina, here we go." he smiled as he began walking quickly and taking large steps.

Yukina hand also taked a gahsped of air when they got thier head out of the water,Then as he walked she heled on...then finaly subcomeing to her sleepyness closeed her eyes and had fallen asleep.

Kevin felt Yukina's head resting against him and figured she'd fallen asleep. He tried taking softer steps so he wouldn't jostle her as much, but he couldn't exactly tell you how well it worked.

Eventually, he started getting tired and slowed down. He was used to be pushed hard during training, so he made it further than most probably would have, not that he could have told you, but it still wasn't far enough. They had to make a quick escape- either deep enough into the woods where they wouldn't be found so easily, or out of it to what he hoped to be another town, and sanctuary.

Yukina , in her sleep snuggeled her head into Kevins back and sighed relaxedly as she held onto him a bit tighter,then , unespectedly muttered his name in her sleep.

Kevin smiled a little as she held tighter to him. Strangely, the thought he could get used to it. Then, he heard his name. 'Is she dreaming about me?', he wondered inside his head. He would have to ask her about it later in either the least, or the most embarrassing way possible.

After a while Yukina yawned and was awake..Blinking she liffted her head up an dlooked around. "now where are we?" ,she asked then blushed. "a-and im sorry i fell asleep on you"

Kevin smiled, hearing Yukina's voice again, "We've only made it a few miles, tops. How are you feeling?" he asked, honestly concerned. It wasn't that he was sick of carrying her, he just wanted to make sure she felt better and wasn't going to get sick from exhaution. Then he added, "How'd you sleep up there?"

Yukina smiled. "i feel great" ,she said then smiled, "it was very nice and relaxing .. surpriseingly confertable"

Kevin laughed a little, "Well, I'm glad I'm 'surprisingly comfortable'." he laughed again. He started thinking of ways to gently bring up her having said his name, when all of a sudden, the words slipped out on their own, "Did you.. dream about anything?"

Yukinablinked and blushedslightly."y-yeah....wh-why?"

He smiled from where she couldn't see it, "You were talking in your sleep. What was it about?" he asked, trying to take the least embarrassing route.

Yukina blushed more. "w-well .. it was of you and me ... we were free .. not on the run anymore and we were together and happy"

Kevin nodded, "That would explain why you said my name..." he smiled a little, but the realized something and quickly asked, "What do you mean 'together'?"

Yukina blushed and froze. "i uh ...um...uh...well", she didnt wnat to tell him. Concidering he was going to leave her anywase after this was over she looked down."i dont remenber",she said softly.

He laughed a little, not at her, but at what she had said. He didn't believe she couldn't remember, "You don't remember? Are you sure? I'm not sure I believe you... What are you afraid of?" he asked in a challenging tone.

Yukina then blinked. "im not araid of anything!",she said stubernly. "theres just point in me telling you what together it was so...:"

"Of course there's a point." He contradicted, slowing his pace to a simple walk, "I want to know." he smiled.

Yukina shook her head. trust me .. there is no point ... and you wnating to know dosnt count"

He made a face, thought she couldn't see it, "How about the point is... That... Since we're in this together, I wanna know why you're saying my name in your sleep, because for all I know, you think we're not going to make it, so therefore, you have to tell me everything so I'll know. 'Everything' includes telling me what you mean you meant by 'together'."

Yukina sighed. "fine we were ...together , together ...like a couple there you happy?" ,she said softly and looked away from him.

He stopped and tried to look over his back at her, "A couple-together." He thought about it a moment then slowly began to nod, "I could see that." he said simply. "If you're made at me for dragging it out of you, you can get off my back and walk in front of me so you don't have to look at me." he offered, a smile in his voice.

Yukina shook her head."im not mad ... and ...you probaby just said that to make feel better"

Kevin thought for a moment, trying to phrase his answer to that right, "Well, I'm glad you're not mad, but I hate to break it to you, but I didn't say it to make you feel better." He told her, "I honestly meant it."
