I'm sure everyone has listened to a song where after it finished, it made you say "damn." The song makes you stop and think about something, puts things into focus, makes you really emotional whether it be sad or happy, or whatever unique it may have on you; one thing's for sure though, you listened to it more than three times in a row.

I like songs like that.

In this thread, post the songs that've made you do just that.

I'll start with a couple:
Straylight Run - Existentialism on Prom Night
Blink 182 - Reckless Abandon

Simple Plan - Welcome To My Life
Simple Plan - Me Against the World
Linkin Park - One Step Closer
Emilie Autumn - Opheliac
Jem - They

The songs reminds me of my past, my feelings and the mistakes that I have made. But they don't make me that emotional anymore, because I have listening a lot to them and I got over some issus.

Electric Six -- "Pink Flamingos"
Gogol Bordello -- "Start Wearing Purple"
Dethklok -- "Thunder Horse"
UB40 -- "Red Red Wine"
The Faint -- "Take me to the Hospital"

Oh, songs that made me think afterwards and had me listen to them a second/third time to understand more. not songs that made me STOP thinking and put them on repeat.... oh well. still good songs.

Anything by the band Coheed and Cambria
ha
Their songs tell a story, all 4 albums are concept albums
It's amazingly difficult and interesting to try and put together all the pieces of the puzzle into one big, long story.
