I think the new colors added to money recently (in the past few years) looks nicer.

It makes it harder to make counter-fit money.

When I first saw the redone US bills, I thought they looked like Monopoly money.

In fact I was like, "Ah, this is a horrible counterfit" lol

 The new dollars are meant to be more difficult to counterfit because of the extra colors added to the bills.

Did they redo the one dollar bills yet? I know that they did the larger bills first, and had gotten to the five dollar bill.

I can hardly keep track of them anymore. Plus, our money is so fragile compared to the paper bills or single-digits of other countries and currencies. Now they have some kind of purple, green, and yellow on them, don't they?

The five dollar bill has purple on it. And there is a yellow hue to the 20 dollar bills.

Mmhm, I had recalled as much.
Even so, it seems like most people don't actually deal with paper money.

Sometimes it's easier to use electronic currency, but like you, I prefer cash.
Enjoying your week, Clair?

My week has been fine so far... I haven't really done much. My summer work hours don't start for a few weeks, so I've been sitting around the house a lot. :/ Most of my friends... what few I have left (>.>) are still in school, so I haven't had anyone to hang out with. I only really hear from one of my college friends, but I haven't seen him since school let out for the summer. :/ I guess you could say it's been a really really dull summer.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that it has been so dull! Hopefully your friends will give you a call or drop by once school is finished and you'll have tons to do.~
I've been halfheartedly job-hunting, so most of my time is spent cleaning after other people, baby/pet/house sitting, and lawn maintenance.

I was definitely built for hard labour.
Aaaand, I bought an indoor trainer for my bicycle today. My gosh, it's so much fun! I watched a whole movie and was biking the entire time.
