He's the best dog ever...everyone we meet is always shocked at how well he behaves. He only barks at strangers depending on where he is (i.e. at home, looking out an open window in the car), but otherwise, he's wonderful, and will love anyone who loves him. And don't even get me started on how well he listens...XD

He's super playful and so so so so cute when you're playing with him, yet he's also really mellow and will just stay on your lap forever. He has so many nicknames, too...and he responds to all of them XD

Anyway...enough of me singing my dog's praises...lol :roll:

I give my little doggy regular dog food as treats (that little bugger thinks he's got me fooled)
when he goes potty on his mat he always comes back running for a treat, he only gets one when he sits down and shakes paws though, it's so adorable. When I don't notice that he went potty he makes this kind of 'coughing/sneezing' sound to let me know that he deserves a treat.

Nope, he's a full Chihuahua ^^
A lot of people think he's a Miniature Pinscher because of his coloring...lol.

Awww, that's sounds so cute ,,@[email protected],, One thing that's so endearing about Chi's is how much personality they have...I know most dogs are obviously unique to everyone, but I've never known another breed like Chihuahua's ^^ My dog has so many weird quirks and little bits of personality that just make him so cute XD

Speaking of going potty on mats, we've trained our dog to do that too! We've also made a habit of wiping him when he goes...lol :sweat: But it's so cute, because if I catch him as he's going, he'll just look at me when he's finished and stay in the bathroom looking all bashful, waiting to be wiped XD Once I tell him he can go, he sprints away at full speed <3

I don't have a chihuahua, but my friend has one; she's called Suzie, and she's adorable!!! I don't have a picture of her, but she's the cutest little thing you'd ever meet xD She's the runt from a Miniature Chihuahua breeder, so she's sooooo tiny, and she's tan-and-white with short hair. She has this funny little habit, when she wants something, she sits down and reaches up with her front legs, and starts scratching your legs or the piece of furniture she wants to get on.. the sound it makes is really cool xD

And now my friend does the same thing as Suzie when she reeeeally wants something xD;;

I want a Chihuahua! But. I'm not allowed dogs :(

My aunty used to have one, But it was attacked by a pit-bull when it got out.
She was cute, But very loud. And she loved cushions alot, She had this one little cushion that she would never let anyone near. Whenever you went near it she would growl, and growl, and growl =3

My grandma had a dog that was a mix of a wiener with chihuahua XD he was sooooo cute .. kinda ugly tho! XDD his name was turbo :) bhe got hit when truck ran over him ;-; ..
when we took him to the vet to see if they could do anything turns out he was gonna die anyways because someone poisoned him D:

x_StardustPurview_x : You are so right, chihuahuas do have their own personalities with lots of quirks. My little chi likes to have breakfast with me on the patio and when he sees me going towards the patio with a coffee he'd be running towards the patio door.


opalistic8 : My chihuahua does the same thing with his paws when he wants something, mostly to be picked up, since he can't get on all of the furniture except the sofa that has little doggy steps.


Mortaeu : My chi really likes blankets a lot, he has a whole bunch of little ones that he just drags along with him. He also hides his treats in the blankets. And he has a pillow for when I take him in the car because he just won't sit on my lap, and I got pretty tired of him scratching my legs all the time haha.

kishura : oh my god, poor baby, that must've sucked ):. that's what I find so adorable about small dogs though, they're so ugly sometimes that it just makes them cute. Like pugs haha.

yup.. she usually dosent adopt anything. she dosent like dogs so much she was thinking of giving it away but she fell in love with her XD

i love all dogs, though i don't actually own one. not YET actually. my parents won't let me. ):

my mom wants a chihuahua though. she thinks they're really cute ^^

My family is an animal family, we have had everything from snakes to lizards, to rabbits to fish, to cats and finally, to dogs. We have had dogs of many different sizes and breeds, but we have never had a chihuahua, though we have several friends and acquaintances with them. In my experience, chihuahuas are territorial, fearless, horny, and hyper. There is only one exception that I know of, a half-chihuahua named Arizona, black and tan with good manners, never barks except at other chihuahuas, and though she has no fence or leash and lives outside, she never leaves her yard. So I think they could be decent dogs, but they would have to have the right personality and be trained well.

I've never had a chihuahua, but yours is adorable !

My cousin's own a little chihuahua called Pixi and she's adorable. Whenever you sit down she'll jump up on the couch, cuddle next to you, and stick her little tongue out at you! Sooo adorable!!!! =3 except for the fact she got me fleas...

Squee! i LUV chihuahuas! ive owned chihuahuas all my life. My mom owned a black and white chihuahua named keemo...idk where i went.now she owns a malterse/chihuahua...malchi. She wouldnt get me anymore chihuahuas after selling my bebe. she wa the most adorable chihuahua ive ever had, and to tell the truth i still have a little grudge against my mom for selling her. My dog's half a toy breed and half a terrier breed...I have enough trouble with him when he burrows under my blankies. >__< *feels bad for sitting on her dog accidentally a couple of times*

My sister's sister-in-law has a long-haired chihuahua, I think. It's some sort of chihuahua. He's so adorable! They've gotten him a like, work-out jacket for the heck of it and how he's built, he looks like he has little doggie muscles.

My sister and I used to live out in the middle of nowhere, and one day this stray Chihuahua stopped by out house, and we sort of kept him.
A few months later, another one showed up.
To this day, I still don't know HOW we managed to come across two white Chihuahuas, let alone keep them without ever coming across any lost pet signs, but we did.

The older one was the stereotypical Chihuahua; always running, barking, attacking anything that moved. Cute as hell though.
The younger one was shy and quiet, and when you sat down with him, he'd lick your face and cuddle with you. He was basically a Chihuacat. c:

Sadly, when we moved, we had to give them both up to the next door neighbor.

I don't have one, but I do have a story about one.

It was a few years ago, and I was walking through a small town in the country with two of my friends. We came across an overweight chihuahua in a nearby yard, and one of my friends stopped to pet it. My other friend kept complaining and wanted to keep going, but my friend wouldn't leave the chihuahua. Suddenly, when she reached down to pet it again, it bit her hand. xD

I don't have a chihuahua, but I think they're adorable. I do have a cute little yorkshire terrier and a little poodle (he's my favorite :-)).

I have a chihuahua. Her name is Chalupa, we call her lupi. She does stupid little dances when she gets excited and sometimes even barks like she's a bigger dog.

Well, actually my parents wont let me own a dog. I'd like to get a Siberian Husky, or a small dog like a chihuahua. They're really small and cute~ But I do prefer fluffy dogs even if they get fur all over the place.

My dad just think's they're annoying and never shut up. I like them though~

I couldn't stand small dogs until I adopted Regal, a long haired Chihuahua mix. I liked him from the start because of his ego. He thinks he's gods gift to humans. He's also extremely deluded; he doesn't know he's a small dog. He actually picked a fight with a pit bull!
The only thing I'd change about him is his reactions to small motored things, like vacuum cleaners, motorcycles, and lawn mowers. He goes absolutely BERSERK!
