"anything will do, if you give me veggies and fruit that'll satisfy me" smiling widely she leapt off of Nick's shoulder, behind the tree, reverted to her human form and slipped her clothes back on, stepped back into view and back by nick.

"Do you have any herbs that'll help Con with his headache?"

Shin nodded "Easily, but I can't make him take them." She slipped sideways into a tree and moved off to collect the requested herbs and more food.

Seosamh crawled into his brothers lap and spoke to him trying to her him to maybe put his cloak up over his head like a hood to drown out the light. Con didn't reply to the kid with harshness like he would the others, only by tellhimg him it didn't matter, that the headache would fade soon enough.

With wide eyes Kai nudged nick and smiled "he's sweet around people he can trust.. hmm" trying to tihnk of how to use this to help the others Kai ended this with confusion and disappointment. Only that if they find a way to help him that he'll maybe warm up to them "are you okay? you seem to be really nervous" turning to him her eyes expressed the worry she was clearly feeling.

Nick nelt down so he was level with Con and tipped his head to the side. absently wondering what he could do to make the guys headache go away the trees aroudn them seemed to shift and streatch as he thought weavign their branches together to form a roof over their area giveing them a darker shade then what htey had already.*

Con looked up and shuffled away from him a little, holding his brother so he didn't accidentally make him fall down and hurt himself. He didn't lash out at Nick either.

"cool" kai whispered to herself staring up at the trees her tail swaying with a slight comfort. She smiled down at the child and pointed to his blanket "do you like it?"

Seosamh nodded and had it draped over his shoulders at that moment.

"i have one just like it" she said smiling and pulling it out from under her corset. She tucked it in the for safe keeping "is he your daddy or sibling?" smiling happily Kai tilted her head trying to find out something about Con and who he was.. or even how she could help them both..

Seo couldnt understand her. He could only awnser her last question because she had pointed at the blanket. He just tilted his head. "Concobhar." He replied thinking she had asked his name.

She giggled and pointed to his blanket then hers, showing the resemblence, which was uncanny. She tucked it back into her outfit and looked over at nick was standing alone again.

Now happy and slightly hyper she walked over to him smiled widely "the child is cute isnt he?.. are you okay? Anytime you're alone you look so sad.."

Shin returned then, holding two wooden bowls. The first was overflowing with all the food the forest could provide, the second with strong smelling herbs which she knelt and handed to Con "I know you don't like me, but these are strong painkillers, chewing them will help." She placed the larger bowl of food in the center of the group and stood. "Is there anything anyone would like to ask Concobhar or Seosamh?" She then turned to Con and Seo and asked in their language "Is there anything you wish to ask them?"

sneaking up to the bowl Kai smiled taking her share of the food and nibbling on what she could, she removed her gloves and cut up summer squash making it edible.

She tilted her head and briefly looked over at con "what time did he come from? has he always been able to time travel?"

Con picked up one of the herbs and nobbled on it. He didn't respond to any of the questions Shin had asked him.

Shin turned to Con "Kai wishes to know what time you are from. So, what year was it before you came here I suppose because she also wants to know if you've always been able to jump around in time. Personally I want to know what the relation is between you and Seosamh."

with ears twitching kai sighed and looked over at him again, then over at Shin then nick. Waiting for a response she sat quietly nibbling on her food wondering why exactly he refused to talk to anyone... then finally it hit her, maybe he was distancing himself so when he made his next travel he wouldnt get hurt or hurt anyone around him when he left them behind.

"Time... 50..." He mumbled and kept his eyes on his brother. "No I dunno what happened with the time."

(sorry I took so long. Been busy dying my hair back to a normal colour >.< kinda hard when your hair used to be pure white and bright green)

Shin's jaw dropped "Well. You're in for quite a shock. Despite the fact that we are currently in a forest and not much here has changed, you're currently over two thousand years in the future." She turned to the others and relayed "He says he's from fifty, as in year fifty. Which is about the time of gaul, but... That's amazing."

Concobhars eyes widened a little but he shook it off. "So I guess Rome has taken over the whole continent by now?"

Nick blinked. "Fifty as in B.C.?" Nick pressed into a tree stareing at the guy. "Whoa.. I'd REALLY be crabby then. wait what did he just say?" it had had a questioning tone to it.
(sorry i had to take a nap.. my pills kicked in and my mouth hurt so ..heh..off to sleep land i went)

Kai nearly choked on her food "no.. actually rome fell long ago" she tried chewed her food thoroughly before looking over at him with astonishment as well, amazed that he hasnt killed anyone just yet.

Shin's eyebrow quirked slightly and she addressed Nick first "He wanted to know if rome conquered the continent." Returning to Con she stated "No. Rome collapsed inward. It grew too large for it's own good, a single central government couldn't get out messages fast enough to be effective, it's culture slid downhill, disease spread, and when the Goth tribes attacked from the north they simply dealt the death blow. There are now many countries where rome once was. Gaul is split between the ones called Portugal and Spain."

astonished Kai's jaw dropped stared over at Shin "you're a genious!" she giggled and nodded, agreeing with herself.

Looking back over at con she took in a deep breath unable to ask anything, no questions came to mind besides "what was it like back then?"

Nick shifted in irritatation. it was NOT fun not having a clue what everyone was saying. he stood and moved away from the others slipping into the woods a bit sitting down he crossed his legs and closed his eyes. and started trying to meditate and 'draw inward' as the last mage who tried to teach him had said to do.. magic sparked and swirled along his skin like wild vines that desperately needed to be orderd.

"Oh..." Con replied looking down at his brother. He smiled lightly amused by the fate of rome. "Are all my people gone?"
