she sighed and bit her lower lip nodding softly, he was cute, but strange, she couldnt help but feel slightly attracted to him but also at the same time she feared him.

Hogarth's Eyes shifted to Satoshi, He found no interest in the other human, just saw him as someone who could be killed like any other, Hogarth's stair looked at Satoshi, almost as thought taunting him. "All Mages and Sages are very smart tricksters." Hogarth said, looking at Satoshi, his fingers running down his blade, as it started to force his right eye into a gentle blue color, Kai's Left eye doing the same, turning to the blue color. He burly knew this guy, and could care less about him.

"Well then it's good for you guys that I'm not a Mage or Sage. I'm assassin."

kai let out a soft cry feeling the twinge of pain surge throughout her body once the colour changed "i.. i thought that-that you got rid of that" she whispered to him leaning against hogarth for support.

"I got rid of the eye so you weren't blind, I cant see out of my right eye unless I use my blade." Hogarth stated, looking at Kai. "Once I start using my blade though the talents inside of it, all kick into the owner of the blade, and since you share owner ship with it, That left eye will always stay like that it just wont be permanent as long as I don't give it to you." He continued, looking down at Kai. "The pain you will get use to." He said, looking down at his blade.

((So in other words, the eye allows you to summon the spirits, and see them, and it cant be removed unless I give it to you. Then your left eye will be blind. Its because when you used my blade it looked for another owner because it felt like I abandoned it so when you touched it, it made you half of the owner, but you cant get Full ownership of the blade unless I die.))

"are you sure..?" she asked cupping her hand over it "i feel like someone's trying to pull it out of my head" she whimpered feeling like a child again, she shivered once before fully leaning onto him, even though shin clearly did not want her sleeping kai was drifting in and out of conciousness.

"Don't sleep Kai, if you do you might fall into a coma." Hogarth said, nudging her playfully. "Come on you wanna do something?" Hogarth asked, whispering in her ear, as though trying to keep it a secret from Shin and Satoshi. "Well play what ever kinda game you want to." he said, nudging her again, trying to get her a little more active.

"Don't worry I'm able to keep her awake with a touch of my hand."

she yawned widely flicking her tail every so often "but i'm so sleepy" she whined slowly falling to her side from all of the nudges, the ground seemed like an over-sized pillow to her at this point she yawned even wider while closing her eyes "just five... minutes" she mumbled

"Stay awake."

Reaching over to put his hand on her leg again.

Hogarth ignored Satoshi, continuing to gently nudge Kai." Come on." He persisted, trying to stir some sort of energetic ball of energy from her. "What you wanna play?" He asked once more, looking down at Kai, gently Brushing her hair to comfort her just a little. His blade, gently tucking under Satoshi's neck, as a warning, his eyes shot a glare at him, daring him to cause discomfort to Kai once more.

when satoshi's hand pressed against her leg her brows knitted together and face contorted in pain "please stop.. i.. i think i'm getting frostbite" she cried slowly twitching and rising up just a little to look at hogarth "how long do i have to stay awake for?" she asked with drooping eyes

"Ah, yeah, sorry."

"Just a little bit longer Kai." Hogarth said, stroking her head. His blade lowering from Satoshi's neck, and tucked it into his case. "Come on Kai, Where's your tiger with fangs." Hogarth teased a little, doing anything to keep her awake.

"So far you are the only person to hold a blade to my neck and live."

He glared at Hogarth.

Hogarth ignored Satoshi. " Glare all you want I've killed other bandits scarier then you." Hogarth taunted, being gentle with his Kai, not wanting to pick a fight, it was just in his nature to make people feel taunted, like he wasn't someone to mess with, and in some ways its true.

"Well, I'm not like other bandit's."

Satoshi holds up his arm as it turns to ice and back to normal.

kai slowly looked at Satoshi with the type of look that would scare even the hardest of men "do not threaten him.. you may stay here.." she yawned "if you're peaceful.. he protects me for reasons i dont want to say for now" she slowly stood to her feet but collasped just seconds after. It was hard to impress knowledge upon someone when this tired "i'm sorry" she whimpered "please dont fight.. okay? please?"

"Fine."

Satoshi leaned his head against a tree to try and get some sleep.

Hogarth looked at Kai, nodding gently, pulling out is blade, slowly rubbing his fingers against the edge, turning his right eye blue, and Kai's Left eye blue, this time the pain was there but it felt like nothing. "I wont Kai." Hogarth said, playing a soft turn with his blade, and closing his eyes, hoping the eye would keep her awake at least for 2 more mins. "Just 3 more minutes Kai." Hogarth said over throwing it but he just wanted to be on the safe side.

kai inched her way back over to him placing her head in his lap like she had the night before, for an eighteen year old she could really act like a child at times. after a minute passed by teas streamed down her face, she let out a soft cry once the pain returned to her, the eye was unbearable for someone who was extremely exhausted. While biteing her lower lip she pulled herself closer to him finding comfort in someone else other than nick, which was frightening to her.

Hogarth stopped playing hearing her tears. "I'm sorry Kai, just 1 more minute your doing a good job." Hogarth said, stroking her hair gently. looking around, trying to find something to keep her awake just a little longer. "Kai what you do if you wanna stay awake?" Hogarth asked, trying to get her talking at least.

"i dont know" she whimpered feeling herself slip away, thankfully when the minute passed she yawned big and wide "thank you.." she whispered to him while completely drifting off into dreamland, this time her adventure would be a peaceful one.
