Nick reached out and touched her side sending the healing gift that was his strongest gift, besides the shifting, into her system trying to at least dull the pain for her and make it easier to breath though as out of it as he was he had no clue how that was gonna work. "Yeah..I remember.. not happy about it but I remember.."

EDIT: When shin Came over and started asking him questions he blinked at her. "Sore.. head hurts.. umm.. definitely hungry.."

Kai lightly grabbed his hand and kissed the back of it, it was suddenly apparent that she would be truly lost without him, that she'd do anything to help "i'll go catch some fish" she said to the both of them, while he was asleep, besides falling in love, she made a fishing rod, she sank the line into the water and pulled four fish out soon after, she planned on catching six.

Satoshi saw Nick was awake and everyone was around him, so he went to join them.

"I've been here for about a week and almost everyone I meet gets the crap beat out of them."

Nick chuckled. "Yeah.. we do tend to get into fights.." he blinked dimly remembering the other but not quite. maybe he'd seen him when he woke up and just forgot? he forced his body to sit up to much complaining from it. "Four days.. felt much longer.." he mumbled as the room spun he kept his eyes tightly shut until it passed.

"here fishy fishy fishy" kai called out to the small water bound animals attempting to get them to bite onto the line, but, of course they didnt so she started a fire right then and there cooking the meat so when she returned she would have food ready for the two, hopefully, shin would have gotten berries and veggies as well if she wasnt tending to nick's sounds.

Satoshi sat down across from Nick.

"So, how are you doing?"

Shin popped out of the tree beside them, arms laden with food, and yet more medicine. She sighed as she sat down next to Nick and Satoshi and started wrapping berries in leaves before handing them to Nick "Eat these, they're filling and will help with the pain." She passed a few to Satoshi as well with a motherly glare "You need to eat as well. I saw that wound."

"I feel like I picked a fight with a ten ton grizzly.." he mumbled and cracked an eye open. "I remember you.. you came out during hte fight with ray or.. maybe before .. my heads all jumbled.."

Edit: when shin came back with berry's, Nick blinked at them. "Uhh..okay.." he got out and popped one warily into his mouth.

kai sighed, caught one more fish and quickly stripped down to her underwear "COME HERE STUPID FISH!" she yelled swimming fast after a big, what looked like a bass. Unfortunately she wasnt so lucky, it turned around and began chasing her, she slipped her clothes back on and ran through camp screaming and waving her arms "HELP DEMON FISH!!" this was an obviously amusing spectacle.

"You may feel like you picked a fight with a ten ton grizzly, I think I got attacked by one." Satoshi smirked.

He ate some of the berries and nearly coughed them back up they tasted so bitter.

Shin blinked at her and stood, brushing the food off onto the mossy ground before strolling over the the lake, whistling a pleasant tune. At her arrival the fish popped it's head out of the water and Shin walked in next to it, running her hands over it's scales as she murmured to in in an entirely uncomprehensible language.

kai was now hugging the limb of a tree, another fish, with legs and everything had chased her to it, the blasted thing was breathing air, wagging it's tail and staring up at her with an evil glare, this caused her to laugh nervously "shin? this is trying to eat me!" she let out an exasporated sigh but at the same time was able to laugh about it.

Satoshi pulled out a small black ball and threw it at the fish thing and it exploded on contact.

Nick made a Hmm hmm, sound as he closed his eye's, centered himself and begain pulling energy from the land around him to speed up his healing. he was NOT one to let thing set the way they where and what if they where attacked again?

Shin groaned and considered forcibly restraining Satoshi, then decided against it since he was injured. With a whistle from her the other fish limped back to the water, quite injured from them blast. She started tending to it as well, still talking in that unintelligble language.

(there goes my comical scene -.-)

Kai laughed nervously and went back to retrieve her fish that's when she noticed shin talking to the fish "how do you do that?" she smiled wondering if she could learn sometime.

she thought better of the fish which she'd tossed into a bucket of water and released them, she knealt down next to the water "can i help?" kai had no intention of continually getting herself into situations to where she would either bleed or break bones.

Shin blinked at her then smiled for the first time in what felt like days. "Sure, they won't try and eat you as long as I'm here." Shin beckoned her into the water. "They have names, but not in our tongue, so I guess you could call them Bob and Joe. Bob here," indicating the water bound fish "Does not like being chased, but Joe just thought you looked tasty." Shin chuckled "They're both pretty nice though."

Nick stood up on steadier legs and waving to the samari went to find his sister. or well the women he'd adopted as a sister anyways.*

kai laughed and stepped into the water "well i thought he looked kinda tastey too!" she couldnt help but sink her hand into the water, when she did this one of the fish swam by pushing his back scales into this, this was strangely calming.

"Joe says 'Hi.' and 'Please don't blow me up.'" Shin laughed again "He is sorry about the chasing you thing, but I'm not translating the rest of that." She burbled at the fish again and sat down in the shallows, letting some of the smaller fish take shelter near her.

Nick fallowed his sister's presence and shifting climbed a tree to lay on the upper branch watching the two. it was a nice..sight he supposed. he laid his head down and closed his eyes.

"i'll make sure no one attempts to blow him up" she giggled and lightly picked him up while submerging herself in the water, she gave him a soft hug and released him back into the water, she pulled her head above the water with a wide grin "y'know usually i dont like swimming" she giggled "but it really isnt so bad"

Shin nodded and leaned back in the shallows "Yes... as guardian here I take care of everything and everyone. It's the fish that travel through here and the animals that migrate that give me most of my news." She paused "Well, those that make it."

kai nodded and suddenly realized something 'the, the rivers connect every continent! if we can make small holes in dams and other such things like this that wont interfere with humans we can save you shin!"

Shin thought about it for a moment. "Hummmmm... well we would need to make an agreement with the sea elves to... hum... and the forests that aren't connected to rivers..." She trailed off, murmuring to herself about the logistics and species and possible means of transport upriver and overland.
