Shin reared backwards and almost fell out of her tree, recoiling from the light and looking around to see where Con had dissappeared to, the child remained... Shin stood and looked around again before carefully leaping down to stand next to the child, asking him "What just happened? Is Con a magic user?"

The child pointed over at his dazed brother. "No hes right there. Time ate him again." the kids voice was shaky, knowing that he too bore the same cure and would eventually be tossed through time and space like a ragdoll just like his brother.
Con stood up, angry and looked over at the first thing he saw-- nick, and the cat woman next to him. He pointed and instantly blamed them for it.

Kai slumped down eyes filling with tears, yet another thing has been placed on her shoulders "i-it wasnt me!" she mumbled, lower lip trembling. Her plea was fruitless and she knew it "please.. I'm sorry! i-it w-wasnt me!"

Con snarled at her and held up the sharpened stick that he now had once again, pulled out of time and proceeded to try to whack her on the head once again.

Nick stared at Con placidly. in to much shock to actually get worked up over this. 'huh no wonder he's in a perpetually bad mood'. "He got Jinxed.." well his peoples term for a hex or curse. "Ethir that or he went somewhere he wasn't supposed to and the spell was triggerd.. it'll eventually wear off though when is anyones guess." of coruse when con went to attak Kai nicks eyes narrowed and he was up and moving. he grabed the others wrist twisted and threw him ove rhis hip and through the air. so con went flying. then faced the male. "You just DON'T learn do you."

Shin blinked "Time ate him?" She sighed and took the child's hand, guiding him back towards the others "Let's go see him then. Con! Stop it! They didn't do it, whatever it was. Nick says it was a jinx, perhaps he can tell you more if you don't attack him!"

Con smacked the cat-girl upon the head and looked at her. "Yeah the Jinx...." he said in an almost accusing voice and proceeded to smack nick as well.

Seosamh didn't reply, he was too young to understand what happened to him, all he knew is he enjoyed meeting new people.

umm Con.. Nick just THREW your guy.. as in grabed his arm did a flip thing and sent him flying a few feet to the ground @[email protected] what is my post invisi?))

Con landed and slowly stood up holding his head. Thanks to the bump on the head he recieved his small head pain turned into a full blown headache. He crouched down and held his head waiting for the throbbing to go away.

Seosamh didn't reply, he was too young to understand what happened to him, all he knew is he enjoyed meeting new people.

Kai stood up feeling like a beaten animal she hid behind the tree curling up into herself, which resulted in her shifting into a large black house cat. The fur around her neck was missing, it looked like someone had plucked the fur out with tweezers. Or rubbed it down with sand paper.

Walking out from behind the tree she looked at Con, trembling profusely "isnt there any way the curse can be removed?" she asked herself or anyone who overheard.

Shin's forehead creased and she placed her hand on a nearby tree, causing it to reach out for Con "Now you are GOING to stop attacking, and we are GOING to discuss this like civilized people until we can work this out, okay? I'll translate." She turned to Nick "Now then, apparently 'Time ate him.' Any ideas on that?"

Con moved a hand away from his head to swat at the trees branches that reached for him.

"It's a time jinx.." Nick mutterd moving to pulle Kai in against his side portectively. rubbing her behind the ears gentle to try and calm her down. "It's a common hex that can be place don a person weather the mage is dead or what not by having it on an item, or often used in battle.. it takes your target through time.. it does eventually wear off.. and I could be wrong cause there are a lot of jinxes and hexes like that in diffrent power.. for all we know his could die off any minute and he'd ethir be stuck here..or be jerked back to his own time.. I think.. I could be totaly wrong."*

"By all the gods Con, stop it! I'm only trying to help! Attacking innocents will get you nowhere! Now, will you sit, or calm down or something and we'll see if we can help you?" Shin turned to Nick "It can be placed on an item? It might not even be him then, but something he's carrying?"

Con batted back the branches still and shuffled a few feet forward. Headaches just made his moods worse.

Kai made a soft purring sound in the base of her throat as she climbed up Nick's shirt and sat on his shoulder, tail snaked around his neck and body leaning against his head. For a large cat, she was oddly light "did he steal something that had a hex on it or was he born this way?" seeing an animal talk in a human tongue was just as strange as seeing a rainbow in the dead of night.

Nick shrugged. "No it would of been passed on to him FROM the item.. its called a long distance hex.. and is sometimes place don tombs.. but if he was in a war like you said he was it was probably placed on him.. soemone apparently didn't want him there to fight.." Nick forced himself to hold steady just as the other climbed up his body. "Umm dunno that could be to."

Shin turned to Con and relayed the information in his own language "Can you think of anyone who would have had a grude against you or wanted you and this child gone? For that matter, child I do not yet know your name."

"did he pick up a sword that was on the battle field to use in a dire emergency?" as she asked this she weighed the possibilities. This coudlnt possibly have happened but, perhaps it could have. Who knows?

The kid was still clung to her hand and spoke up rather cheerfully "Seosamh"

Con only growled at them, hish ead now under his arms trying to block the light out.

Nick blinked. "No clue.. but thats all I know I wouldn't even know how to remove it.. I.." he flushed. "Didn't pay attention in class that much.. at the time i had no ..no powers or they hadn't woken up o rsomething.. so I didnt think i needed to know that."*

Kai nodded and brushed up against nick with a purring sound erupting from her ribcage "hmm.. i think he has a headache. Oo if we put a sleeping mask on him it might help his headache.. better yet how about sunglasses?" even thoguh her plan sounded ridiculous Kai was proud of herself for thinking of it.

Shin nodded "Seosamh. Good to meet you. Why don't you go comfort Con? I think he needs it. I'll get everyone some food. Kai, do you need meat or will plants do?"
