It's my dad because he doesn't want problems, she knows my mum will ignore her but my dad won't. She only goes to my dad and she won't say anything if my mum's around. Her brothers daughter scared one of the cats while he was lying on our garden path so he won't go there any more. I started shouting telling my mum what I'd just seen her do and said if she did it again I was going to hit her because she's got no right scaring him when he's minding his own business not even looking at her in OUR garden and laughing when he jumps when he's a jumpy cat anyway since we got broken into. She hasn't gone near him since.

Ah, see? She knows who she can be nasty with and until he tells her off, she'll never stop. And good for you on saying something to the mean girl-that's one way to get them to stop. She's probably learning it from the old woman. I can't stand people who are just mean to cats for no reason. Just hope you scared her bad enough that she doesn't do anything when you aren't looking. I hope you caught her by surprise. If you did, she'll be afraid that she won't know if you're watching or not.

People are so mean to my Angus, I don't know why he's such a sweetie. He once came home and someone had thrown brown paint on him it was IN his eye.

I have said to my dad to stop giving her what she wants but he just says he doesn't want to cause trouble. So giant fence she's already said she doesn't want it is.

Maybe being such a nice cat is exactly why people are being mean to him. Is he really friendly, like he'll walk right up to them? If so, unfortunately for him, that makes it so easy for the buttholes out there to get their hands on him or close enough to him to do things. Also, some people like to be on power trips, so even scaring a helpless little cat gives them a thrill.

I've only scared and run off two cats from my house. One because it kept coming around my house in Florida and hissing and growling and trying to fight my poor kitty who was scared to death of him, and my kitty was even behind a screened in atrium, and the cat ws ready to tear it up to get to mine! The other was here and it was pretty much the same reason. It kept wanting to come and fight my kitties. Even then I just hollered and scared them away, I never tried to hurt them. I have quite a few other cats that "visit" us all the time though. I don't mind at all. I'm kind of in the country so all these cats will help keep the critters away!

Giant privacy fence-great idea! Even moreso because she doesn't want or like it-YEAH!
