My son just told me over the monitor that my bats are out now. He's swimming in the pool and I have a monitor going so I can well, monitor him. Every summer around dusk for the past 3 years we have these three bats that come out and start swooping around. I don't know if it's the SAME three bats, but it's always three, once in a while a few more.

Awesome! I love bats. There is a cave around my dads house somewhere so we get lots of flying cuties

Yeah, they're like long lost pets that come back every year. They've swooped really low at times, but never touched us. They come out at dusk because that's when the bugs come out. So it's good-less bugs to bite us. Son said the water is actually cold tonight. Up until the other day, it was still rather warm. Thinking of getting a glass of wine and maybe taking a dip myself, but I SO want to earn more stars tonight :)!
