o.O Oh wow, yeah, I'm not that crazy about the piano. I just tend to play a random mix of songs like Fur Elise, Canon in D, River Flows in You, from there it gets really random, like... Sweet Home Alabama, Apologize, I'm Yours, Love Song, Bubbly, Bleeding Love, Don't Stop Believing, etc, etc...
I wanted to learn Nemo's Egg, but I'm having trouble finding sheet music. ;.;
@Enzeru: I wish I could, but I'm actually hearing impaired and was previously entirely deaf. It makes playing by ear rather hard. ;)
Nah, it's fine, Enzeru. I'm not ashamed of my disability at all. I prefer to not let it define who I am as a person. Even though I currently have 50% hearing loss, I still belt and sing obnoxiously along with the radio every day. :B
Hahah thanks, GoRo. I'm not sure why I earned that compliment, but okay. :P
Do you wanna buy my silver trumpet? XD I quit less than a year after I got and hardly ever played the thing. I don't think there's even one dent in it. What a waste and a shame.
Edit: Hatake, if you're referring to the youtube clip, that wasn't me. xD I was just showing GoRo what song I was playing at my house and pulled the reference from onlien.
XD No thank you. My talents reside in research and botany, actually. My herb garden gets more beautiful, and more useful, as the days pass.
It's interesting because even on the days I don't step foot in my garden, I always refer to a remedy whenever someone complains about a pain or discomfort.
Oh, that's an interesting hobby and I like the sound of it. Are you growing any ginger? Ginger tea has a lot of healing qualities to it. :3 And it's my favorite type of tea.
Haha it's okay, Hatake. I'm not one of those people who post every inch of accomplishment they ever feel online. :B
Here's River Flows In You, that I was playing earlier this evening. (This just isn't me playing in the video, of course.)
I don't have any ginger, at the moment. This is my first year into the hobby, yet my excitement for it has spanned years. I have yarrow, lemon verbena, santolina, basil, chives, wild bergamot, bronze fennel, wild parsley, and lemon thyme in the garden at the moment.
The lemon verbena is my favorite, at this moment, though I've grown proud of my fennels' size.
LOL, did I seriously get Page 100 without even realizing it?
*Twirls around* Hooray. :D
And hey, Izumi. Battling bowel issues because of my lactose intolerance, but other than that I'm till semi-alive. @[email protected]; How're you?
And duuude, Vixen, that's Kyle Landry. He's sick at playing and younger than me. Playing the piano for eighteen years almost myself, I totally respect and crush on the guy. @[email protected] <3 He claims he hates Yiruma's music though. Too simple. I'd have to agree; boring to play. XD
Vixen:
That song is very popular apparently... My cousin was playing it last time I saw here. I tried playing with my right hand.
xD;;;
Oy, I know, ever since it was rumored to be involved with this plague they call Twilight... -headdesk- blaragh...
I personally prefer Maybe and Beloved by Yiruma over this song, but I don't know how to play it on piano. It's hard to get my hands on sheet music.
I'm hoping to fine tune Don't Stop Believing before the season of Glee premieres, too. xD
That sounds awesome, GoRo. ^^ I hope the garden comes out well, let me know later in the season. What else do you like to do? Besides watching plants grow? ;D
Edit: Wendy, I'm just a hearing impaired woman with no musical training, so I have no idea who that guy is. :P
@Vixen: Hahaha. I will keep you up to date on the status of my garden. ^^
Aside from gardening, my interests lie in anthropology, history, geology and theology.
On off-days, I tend to find myself mixing and matching my interests and developing a new hobby. Such as researching different mythologies and legends in an attempt to figure if certain lore travels, or if certain events happen worldwide and are recorded differently. It's very fun. :3
