so i am still trying to figure this out but i get more gold if my posts are longer isn't that correct? so what is to stop someone from doing something like just posting and entire page of ."..." or something of the like? wouldn't that be aggravating?

To answer your questions -

Yep - the longer your posts, the more gold you earn. :) It's 0.02 gold a character (not counting punctuation or anything in [brackets]) for up to 20 gold a post.

People do try spamming to earn gold quickly - either by posting copy and pasted stuff that isn't theirs (or the same post over and over again) or punctuation... But punctuation doesn't earn you gold and since our staff is pretty on top of things they get in trouble very quickly. :3

Unfortunately - you can't really "talk to yourself" here on Menewsha, since we have a no-doubleposting rule. :) You'll either need to find another thread, find someone to post in your thread, or edit your original post to add to it. :) But with tons and tons of threads for you to post in, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. :3

We have an active staff and about enough to handle the amount of traffic we get, so it's easier to keep up with spamming than you'd think. :)

There are two sorts of areas like "Guilds". There is the Menewsha Nations forum, where you can create a hangout thread and just chat about whatever (as long as it's not spam or against the rules of the site) or you can use the social groups feature (located under "My Account"). But mostly people don't use them because you don't earn gold in social groups.

Yep! If you get even one role-playing buddy, you can earn gold very easily. :3 If you have more than one, then you might not even need to play games unless you're waiting for someone to post. XD
