XD! I've been wanting to try out Linux, but for some reason, everyone has been telling me it's hell to get started. Despite I normally like to wait and make my own opinions, and I'm not exactly impatient... hm, I just don't know. D :

The only thing I despise about Apple is how some of their updates call for a hundred dollars and... Steve Jobs is an ass. D : He was so mean to poor Mister Gates. DD ;

Don't forget, Sony's model would be a bit more budget friendly. >_<

I actually have a sony version of the iPod, and I find it so much better, and far cheaper. It can fit in my pocket, and play over 800 songs + radio + videos. My boyfriend is bent about getting a REAL iPod, becasue sony isn't good enough. *Rolls eyes* I think he's only buying it to get it in a green color.

Ha-ha, I'm not using an iPod myself, I've gone through three, and enough was enough...
So, now I'm rockin' the Sansa Clip, which holds, like, 2000 songs and it's about the size of... something really small.
Like... a key chain.

And it has music, and a pretty horrible radio, but sadly, no videos. D :

I'll admit I want to buy an iPod touch, but my reason was lame--it had WiFi, but I'm sure they're several other things (FROM SONY) that are just the same, much cheaper, and... likely a bit more awesome.

Sony's version would be MUCH cheaper and MUCH better - though, credit where credit is due, it would still just be a copy... ;)

@Bom: Try Ubuntu. I always hated how complicated earlier (1990-ish) Linux versions where to install, but Debian (which Ubuntu is build upon) made it so much easier. It's not far off from the Windows installation now, just... better :P

Also, I'm under the impression that actual handling of Ubuntu is by far more convenient than Windows, though that might be because of my personal preferrences. It takes a while to get used to (especially when it comes to installing software), but to me it's more straightforward.

Then again, *nix fans where talking about taking over the world from M$ during the first decade of the new millenia - yet still we are just a bunch of freaks and fanboys.
