Makin money in this game is plain ridiculous. I mean a BASIC shirt costs 150g. That's outrageous! Menewsha may hav a bunch of nice stuff. BUt without cash cards, ur not gonna get anywhere in this game. I mean even in gaia, even a low score is enough to buy u good starter stuff. In menewsha. Im gonna hav to stay naked for weeks to get what i want :insane:

Its possible to get up to 500g in the arcade on both a main account and a mule account (totaling 1,000g daily). That's 6 basic shirts or even a new Contribution Item in the marketplace. ^^ Don't worry so much about being nude and just play the games, make friends, join conversations, and the gold will eventually tally up. If you have any sort of graphics talent, you could sell art or thread graphics for an extra increase.

I'm sorry if that doesn't pique your interest much but its really not as bad as it seems. Just keep positive and try out the games.

Compared to the quality of most items, along with the amount of gold that each user stands to make daily if they bothered to put in the amount of work, the items on Menewsha are highly underpriced in my opinion. The 150g for a basic tshirt is more than reasonable.

You should check out the guide to earning gold for newbies. Its got a lot of good information in there that would more than make up for what you think is an outrageous and unobtainable amount in such a short period of time.

I'm hardly ever on and I have a nice-size invo. Granted, I never relied on games or posting to get any of it. I suck hard at the games so I'd have to play them for over an hour to earn anything decent, and they aren't that fun. Posting will never bring in much for me because I know no one here and find very few topics of interest to post in.

So if you don't have a lot of time to invest or if you don't come around and take advantage of the events it will probably take a lot of time you may not have/don't want to invest.

@Hatashi: I hear you and I do agree, but Its a waste of time because everyone says the same thing "I get gold in like 20 minutes by chatting" or "Playing games helps" But i guess may people don't understand how had it is. I don't know why they were once in our shoes or should I say under wear.
And Gaia does take kindly of new comers by giving them clothes.

Well as a gaia vet from its starting days i can tell you gaia had a similiar set up with similar gold. people started naked and got like 2 gold per post or something. When they instituted the starting items for new people i remember a LOT of their members were pissed ... eh ... but since when does gaia give a shit about their players? *grins and shrugs*

By the way vicky i would wager that post of your was just worth about 5 - 10 gold XD

I think the point is that everyone is trying to tell you that it isn't hard. We've been on here longer than you and know that it isn't, you see?

Please just try to stop comparing us to Gaia and take us at as we are. You're just way too used to having things handed to you for free and are not at all at home with how we do things here, that's all. We're not Gaia and we don't want to be. We're happy to be us, and happy for the sense of satisfaction and acheivement that our users feel when they earn their first items, for maybe the first time...

I know right now that may seem like a lot, but personally, once you get far enough 150g is nothing really... starting off is when it's difficult.
Also, personally, I have an item which, if I remember right is over 90,000 gold right now, which is 600 of those shirts.

As for the Gaia comment, when I first started yes it sucked not having cloths, but I had a nice outfit quite easily, which being a noob, took me a week or so yes, but it was easy as I did not lurk at that time and was an active poster. People nowadays complain that making gold is so hard, but when I joined 2 years ago (oct 13th 2007) you had to level up the fishing game, which took a long time to make a profit from, so posting was a newbies only way to make gold.
Nowadays you can make 500g off the games a day as people have said, which once the fishing game was leveled up to a "decent profit", I barely made 150-200g a day.

There's also the opportunities of joining a charity thread in order to get a bit of clothing to cover your avi.

---

As for the Gaia Cash... Gaia Cash is the reason many members quit Gaia, as they ended up having things require real money to buy else paying ridiculous amounts of gold. I also believe it is better to EARN an outfit, then fork out some money and merely put it together.

^^" Sorry that was so long...

@Kaze-bear: yea that's true about gaia. But for me I dont really post on gaia, all i do is post once vote, and that's the end for me.
I get the daily chances, and this new thing they come up with maybe earlier this year was "booty grab".
If i spend an hour playing that i make over 35k to 50k, nice and fast that's how i get my items on my wish list.
Gaia cash is a big issue with me but its not that serious because in a few day the market prices will go down, and i can buy it with gold. I only brought cash once, and it was a great investment for me because that the first time i made about 3 million.
I just wish i know how people sell art on the web, I can draw but never figured out how people do it.
I know no one want to back down things for any body, since I am kinda slow i like stuff detail by detail that really helps me a lot.

Well we have an art shop forum where you can go sell your art, which is a good way to make gold if you can draw, which, depending on the quality the price can go up, and I've heard art is very popular here.

As for "how to sell", are you meaning how to upload them? Or how to get people to buy them?

@Kaze-bear: Art is very popular.

I wanted to know how do people up load them? Do the scan want they draw or do the draw with the art on the PC which I think is not an option.

I would love to open up a art shop it would be my first one ever.

Uh, everyone was a newbie once.
:0
Even me, who came here two years ago when gold was MUCh harder.
You started with 0, you could get maybe a max of 100g if you were lucky, and posting wasn't all that fruitful. Not to mention the games in the first 25 times or so made you lose gold.

The shirts prices were the SAME.

So.
Who's better off?

You.
You guys get games to get 500g, which means clothes in a day.

This is Menewsha.
Not Gaia.
If you want Gaia, here you go www.gaiaonline.com

Games are hard, yes. @[email protected]
But if that's too hard then there's always the charity forum. Or the quester's.
Or even the hangouts, try posting around with decent posts lenghts. :]

@ your last post: There is a variety of ways. Others sketch then scan in, some start with Adobe Photoshop and thus all their work is on the PC, some use tablets to draw on computer programs, some scan in sketches then use GIMP to color.
You can even draw something then take a picture of it. ... though it's not recommended, because the art quality doesn't look as good.

@ Vickyll3 - Well, as winter said scanning, as well as drawing on the computer seem to be your best options. Personally, though I suck terribly at art, Adobe Photoshop seems to work okay for me.

I believe you can also upload from Menewsha itself, though Photobucket seems to be the most popular.

@Winter Wind: Hmm Out of all the post I made yo picked that one?
Well anyways i already got pass the whole gold thing, so don't know why it was to be brought up again. But maybe well i dont know maybe you wanted to get your point across.

And no need to get me the gaia site i have an account on that site.

Yes I been to the charity forum, and I'll go there later on to check it out again.

Yes thank you for helping me out with the art thing, I always wondered about that, I need to look more into that, whats the point of having a talent you cant use. =)

@Kaze-bear: Thank you I would have to play around with those, so I can choose the best one.

Thank you guys a lot, hopefully i can get a shop up, but not in till i get use to them.

@Winter Wind: its OK that understandable, mistakes happen, i also dont read all the post sometimes, so that should have not been a problem, but now i know that i need to work more harder.
