With a smile so vain,
And a very tricky grin,
He fooled the fool,
Over and over again.
Whether His intentions were good,
No one can know,
For He just came and went,
And went and came.
Now this tricky little mister,
Was known for trickery and jokes,
It was as obvious as the grin on His face,
That He was up to no good.
But this trickster was a fool,
He was a fool and a cat,
He messed with the girl,
Then he messed with the Queen.
But when the Queen demanded a head,
She only received a grin which told her,
"It's impossible to get rid of my head,
When I have none to give."
Outraged and embarrassed,
The Queen cried in rage,
"GET ME THAT CAT AND
PUT HIM AWAY!"
The Queen's men searched and searched,
As the Queen grew more furious,
The cat could not be found,
No matter where the men looked.
Little did the Queen know that the grin on that cat,
Truly belonged to herself.
