"wow im so sorry" Daphne said goes to sit beside him "i bet he would be proud of you"

"skeith looked at daphne "he is that i know. he always told me 'no matter what you become their is no way you could dissapoint me.' he was always pround of me even if i screwed up completly. he always had faith that after all the mistakes i would get better at everything." skeith went quiet for a moment. "but then i think what about now? i've waged this war agianst humans but he was a benevolent man. would he still be pround of me even after i killed the same beings he made a peace offering to so long ago?"

"no one will know for sure but you are a great man" Daphne looked back at him "humans have changed since then they have become unwelcoming to people of other races if they knew i wasn't human they wouldn't accept me"

skeith looked at daphne and said "humans claim they changed for the better but its actually the opposite. they wonder why i started this war because they were blinded by themselves and how they believed they were the most powerful beings on this world. i started this not only to show them they were wrong but because i wanted to show the other creatures that we're not what the humans think we are." he stood up "i want to end this war but the humans are so damn intent on winning by defeating me. after killing the hunters that killed my parents and beloved, i realized that their isn't a reason to keep fighting. we showed the humans that they were wrong. i realized that i don't want to cover my hands in more blood."

"i agree this war should stop but humans have ego's and they don't want to lose so it feels like its kill or be killed like they don't want us around and would rather perish then try to live in harmony it sickens me thinking how to them we are monsters" Daphne ranted trying to calm herself down she started to breath deeply in and out "im not much of a fighter but these humans infuriate me and i wish they would just stop trying t control everything and deal with the fact that they are not as all powerful as they think"

"wait if you knew victor how come i never met you until a couple days ago? and how did you know why victor wanted me around?" paige stared at skeith.

"those are good questions" Daphne went quite and went to thinking about what Paige had siad

skeith chuckled "paige either you need to listen better or you need to get better memory. like i said when i taste a beings blood, i see their memories and hear their thoughts. as for why you never met me, thats because i met victor 4 centuries ago. after i realized that he was an idiot i decided to completly forget about his existence... at least until i saw his head." skeith bursted out with laughter. "man, that still kills me. he finally got what he had coming."

"he did have it coming and didn't get the "pleasure" to meet him" Daphne said pleasure in a sarcastic tone

"trust me your lucky to not have the 'pleasure' of meeting him."

"I'm glad i didn't meet him he seemed vile and cruel" Daphne got up and grabbed a bar of chocolate from the pantry "what that man must have done in his life i would bet money that he is burning in hell right now... that is if they let him in"

"oh don't worry i made a call to an old friend who still owes me from a poker game a little while after burning victors body and made sure he got the 'luxery' treaetment in the 13th layer of hell." he smirked "and trust me you do not want to know the things he's done."

"okay i take your word for it" Daphne flinched imagining what he could be happening to Victor now but quickly masked the emotion "so Skeith if you dont mind me asking how are things at the castle and with you and Melrose

Paige stood in confusion, "how long has he been using pretty vampires to lure men to him?"

"centuries, i can tell ya that. how many, well i'm not sure its been so long. but he used beautiful vampires such as you-" he pointed at paige "to get his Game, since he was to lazy to get it himself"

Paige scowled, "im sure there were prettier then me" she looked up, "i always wondered why it was only men, sometimes a lesbian or two, why did he only want men?"

skeith walked over to paige. "trust me their were none as beautiful as you." he kissed her hand. "as for why only men, rumors spoke that he was possibly secretly gay."

"that or he needed the testosterone" Daphne laughed

skeith started to laugh "that just might have been the case."

Paige looked at skeith, "im pretty sure im not that pretty, as for victor being gay i wouldnt doubt it, he did like the company of the male vampires over the females, exept me of course, he never let me out of his sight" she sighed

"come on Paige you pretty and Victor gay he did send out that kind of vibe"

"no kidding." skeith looked back to paige and said "what proof do you need to believe your beautiful?"

"maybe she needs a mirror or we could just poll people" Daphne said surprisingly serious

"that sounds like a good idea, emphasis on the sounds part. how're we gonna do that all the humans in town will either run from us or try to kill us because they fear us. then the fact that most of the beings that aren't human are the brute types that went back to their primitive instinct so they don't know the diffrence between beautiful and deystroy. one reason why i have them as part of the dark army, they know when to show resect for their higer ups but still show no mercy on the battlefield." he looked at daphene "not saying it's a bad idea though, just saying we picked the wrong time to think about using it." he looked at them both and said "well, i gotta get back to the castle to see if the medics were able to help kiki." he looked at paige "when you think of the way i can prove to you that you're beautiful then give me a call." he jumped out the window and started heading for the castle. "by the way feel free to stop by the castle any time!" he shouted back as he continued walking.
