"you look like a human trying to be a vampire" paige laughed, "not convincing at all!"

"haha funny does it really look that bad" Daphne said 'this will never work i feel like an idiot' fixes the teeth and it looks okay and would easily fool and idiot "how about know does it look better"

"now were getting somewhere" paige smiled

"should i eat something to make them look like I've had them for a while because i did bring food with me" Daphne pulls her backpack off and sets it on the ground "and i need to change out of this dress and into an outfit i bought earlier"

"whatever you gotta do" paige said softly

"okay i will be over there" Daphne grabs her bag and changed quickly behind a tree and walks out wearing a black skirt and a lime green shirt "how do i look" Daphne grabs a bag of pretzels and started eating them "im hungry so i brought food with me you want something" Daphne asked kindly

Paige smiled, "i like it" she then shook her head, "i dont like eating regular food because then i want blood its weird"

"okay just promise not to drink mine" Daphne said "and thank you glad to know i look good" she laughed and finished eating "if you want we could go hunting" she suggested

"ill do that when the slaves are set free" paige's eyes darkened.

"okay then so how far away are we from the mansion" Daphne asked as she picked up her bag and started walking trough the forest to the direction of Victor's former residents

Kaer'lic pulls over to the side of the road at a rest stop. "This looks promising." He says. The building is old and decrepit. Lights are on so clearly people are inside running it. There are a few random shadowy figures are shuffling along outside the place. Kaer'lic secures his gun and swords behind his leather cloak and walks up to the establishment. He sees the shadowy figures close in around him, though he continues to walk. "Dark elf, your kind aren't exactly liked around here." One man remarks to Kaer'lic. "Yeah, you know what we do to things like you?" Another one asked menacingly. "Kaer'lic turns to them and replies. "Well I can only imagine that you do something that you would consider violent and disturbing. But I assure you, nothing compares to the horrors that my people are capable of. Now, go back to your holes, scum." Kaer'lic begins walking again to the store. As he enters, he can feel the owner's stare on his back. "No need for alarm, I'm only here for a drink and maybe some food." He assured the man behind the counter. Kaer'lic walks across the back rows looking for food. After he finds everything he needs, he walks up to the man at the counter. "This is all I need and then I will be leaving." He said passively. "Fine, I don't want any trouble around here." The man said. Kaer'lic handed the man his money and scooped up his purchase. "Finally someone who can be civil with me. It doesn't happen often I assure you." And with that, Kaer'lic was out the door with a bag of food.

Kaer'lic leaned against his bike on the side of the road. He was eating his food when he heard the sounds of feet moving across the gravel around the store. Though he could not see the figures, he surely sensed them. He suddenly felt uneasy in the area. Kaer'lic slipped the rest of his food and drink into a side pouch on the bike. "If you're thinking about attacking me, I would decide against it!" Kaer'lic yelled into the dark. He pulled out his magnum from the hip holster and held it in his right hand, aiming into the dark. "We told you that we don't like your kind around here dark elf." The same voice from before said from the darkness.

Kaer'lic was grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground. With a thump, the wind was knocked out of him. Kaer'lic saw three shadowed humanoid forms surround him. "So, you need to resort to underhanded tactics to try and kill me? How clever." Kaer'lic said with a sneer. "Not "try" elf. We will kill you." The man said. His teeth shone white in the permanent darkness of this world. "Oh we shall see." Kaer'lic retorted. Kaer'ic aimed back at the man behind him and fired off a shot, taking the man's kneecap. He immediately fell to the ground and screamed with agony. kaer'lic pushed off of the ground and propelled himself through the air to a standing position. A man lunged at him from across his bike and tackled Kaer'lic, he immediately went into a roll and tossed the man off and into the street. "This is a pointless path to tread!" Kaer'lic growled. He drew a slender, curved sword from his belt and turned to the third man. "Will you too choose to attack me?" He asked. The man shuddered and ran off into the endless night. Kaer'lic turned back to the man that was now dusting himself off in the road, while the other man had suffered massive blood loss from his blown kneecap. The man in the road began to growl. His body seemed to shudder immensely. He exploded into rippling muscle right before Kaer'lic's eyes

Kaer'lic backed away, this was no ordinary street thug. The newly transformed man spoke with a deep and imposing voice, not unlike the booming sound of thunder. "You chose the wrong time to defend yourself little dark elf!" He roared.
"Let us see who made the wrong choice tonight." Kaer'lic taunted. The dark elf dove forward into a roll between his adversary's legs, hamstringing both of his legs on the way through. The large brute went down to his knees. Kaer'lic spun around and launched himself onto the man's back. Kaer'lic took careful aim at the throat but as he was about to take his shot, he was thrown from the beastly man. Falling to the ground and recovering with a roll, Kaer'ic ended up in a low crouch a few feet away from his original position. "Damn! This may be more difficult than I thought." He said. The huge man stood up, as though the damage to his legs didn't make a difference. "Your petty attacks won't help you here." Another roar sounded through the night.

Kaer'lic sighed to himself. He stood up and darted toward his enemy. The man began a swing with his massive fist, directly aimed at Kaer'lic. At the last moment, Kaer'lic dove to the left and went around the monster. Again he mounted his back and poised for a strike. His dual scimitars struck either side of the bulked up humanoid's neck. Blood shot out, it poured onto the gravel like a fountain. The man was dropped to his knees as the loss of blood took it's toll on his body. Kaer'lic kept the blades in until his foe lay flat on the ground, a pool of his own blood surrounded him.

Kaer'lic walked back over to his bike, after wiping his blades clean on what was left of the big man's clothes of course. "Nothing is ever easy. Maybe coming out here on my own wasn't the best idea." He complained. As he mounted his bike, he saw the store owner looking out at him. A satisfied look on his face. The men around the store had been harassing the owner for months. Kaer'lic may have saved the man's life that night. Kaer'lic rode off into the darkness once more, riding down the highway.

Paige sighed sadly, "its not far" she started running again her black hair streaming out behind her like a banner. her green eyes flashed, 'i hope everything goes alright' she thought

"good" ran with Paige pulling her hair in a ponytail as she went 'this better not turn into a major ordeal' "so what do you like best about being free"

Satoshi was no longer on a main road after about sixty miles. He soon made his way to what seemed like a sacred training ground. He usually came here every two years or so, he would always learn something new, this year was supposed to be his last year of training.

as Daphne ran she tripped over a root in the ground but she got up as quickly as she fell she cursed as she kept running "i need to pay more attention to the ground" looking around she noticed that this part of the forest wasn't like the part near town 'we must be closer than i thought'

Paige giggled once when daphne fell, "you alright?" she asked as the nimbly jumped over tree roots. she looked up and saw a huge fallen tree, "be careful!" she yelled as she jumped onto it and jumped off just as fast

"funny yea im fine" Daphne laughed sarcastically as she jumped over the tree and to show of she did a mid-air flip "im more worried about you" she said as she landed on the ground with a small thud as she kept running "were close now huh this doesnt look like the forest i know and feel rather at home with" she said as she scanned the woods

Paige smiled alittle and kept running, "yeah were very close, little over a mile and well be there"

"good were close i just hope before he died Victor didn't get smarter guards" Daphne said a little worried but masked the worry with a smile "so i distract the guards you rescue the slaves or what" Daphne said "we need a plan right or are we just going in and walking out with everyone"

"he didnt, but if they dont let us in kill them" paige said with no emotion. "im hoping Andrew is guarding" paige said. "he'll let us through right away" she smiled at the thought of him.

"Andrew okay and don't worry if they don't let us in i will kill them" Daphne replied with as little Paige :but i will let this Andrew live he one of your friends" Daphne smiled at Paige jumping up onto a tree and continued to follow Paige "if there are people around i would rather be over them not level with them"

"the mansions on a hill" paige jumped onto a tree using her hands she launched herself in the air, landing without a sound as she took off running again.

"hill got it" Daphne jumped out of the trees a solid distance

Paige ran as fast as she could, "we need to get there before dark" she said. and then winced at the thought of what happens at nightfall

"why what happens at night" Daphne asked noticing that Paige winced 'it cant be good'
