"what?!" she blushed more suddenly uncomfortable, she shivered a few times before looking all around, that's when she noticed the sun had completely dipped behind the mountains 'game over' she thought to herself tilting her head to the side for him knowing she wont survive, hopeing though he would at least let her live long enough to travel with him for a few days maybe weeks "i... " she sighed "i would but i dont think you will let me seeing as how i'm your food and not your friend.."

"I like to play with my food for a while. i will prove my ponit." With that Abel moved in a kissed her lips. His full body pressing aginst her for just a second before he stood and pulled his coat on. "Get your things wer leaveing in a second."

she nodded unsure of what was going to happen to herself, she grabbed her bag and ran back to his side, she shivered remembering the feel of his cool marble body pressing against hers, of course her first kiss was with a vampire, it was her luck, just hours before she'd die. this made her nervous, she blushed another shade before speaking "where are we going?"

"Home. I wanna rest. I have been up for doay now without a good rest. Thank you the goons that were chaseing me. Its not too far away from here too." With a smoth motion Abel placed his are around her waist and lifted her over the fence landing lightly on the ground. "Hopw is your hand doing?' He asked

"good" she winced trying to move it, when she did blood soaked through the cloth and she hid it from him as well as she could "what.. do you mean by playing with your food?" she asked nervously, her hair wafted in the gentle breeze and eyes clouded with tears, he'd kissed her but she knew he didnt want anything to do with her in such a way, no human or vampire could be together without one killing the other.

"Take that statment as you will, But i dont like hunting normal pople like yourself. It not fun at all. Those ment That were chaseing me last night at the type I like to eat. It not for the last of their blood, but for the fight they put up. Last night those Slayers found me feeing off of one of thier memebers. I have been Hunting for over 100 years, easy food is not fun anymore...."

Abel looked dow at her. He almost stood a half a foot over the little girl. She did look slightly cue in the moon light. Her parent must be worried. If he wasnt carefull He could have the cops on his tail along with the Slayers Guild. HE groand at the thought of that trouble he could stir up. Not to menchain the other Vampire he knew would wanna take a taste of her blood. It would be easyer for him just to drain her and drump the corpse in the river. Something was keeping him from killing her. He couldnt put his finger on it. The silnce draged on from a second or two before he spoke agian.

"You know... Its been a while since i have tasted blood as good as yours... I had almost forgotten how good Girls tasted."

she blushed deeply and stared up at him "you mean virgin blood?" she sighed knowing he wanted to feed, she reached up and lightly took the back of his neck in her hand, she softly bit her lower lip and was able to pull him down to the side of her neck, she knew it would hurt, she knew he'd bleed her dry, but at the same time she somehow didnt care.

With a heart fluttering faster than a humming bird's wings she took in a shattered breath waiting for the pain, for the bite, for anything "drink, i know you need it"

Abel was surprised that she would offer her neck like that. "You are a wired girl..." He trailed off as his lipes touched her neck. Her skin was very soft. Instinct began to take over. Abel pushed the little girl against the closet wall So she could escape from his grip. His fangs trailed acoss her skin lightly before they sunk into the vien. The blood that rushed into his mouth left him wanting more.

"i'm not that strange" she cringed feeling herself shudder, pain struck her she blushed deeply keeping her hand on the back of his neck until, when she'd lost enough blood her grip loosened and arm fell to her side "i" she shivered "i know when someone needs food is all" she whispered, she felt his body against hers, his was cold hard marble, hers, was of course very weak and getting weaker "please dont kill me" she pleaded "you can drink.. just dont kill me..." her eyes rolled into the back of her head and her body slouched

Abel pulled his fangs from her neck and cleaned the blood from the skin. The thought that he might have drank too mich poped into his head. She looked so weak and plae. it was so diffrent from a momment before when she as boinceing down the street and talking as free as could be. Abel dropped to his knees and brought the young girl with him. He held her body in his lap and tapped his cheeck "Hey" He called out "wake up.. Or say some thing... Are you ok?" Concern for the Human in his hands showed all over his face.

she shivered a pale weak hand reaching to finger the new wound "you" she bit her lower lip attempting to keep herself calm "drank a little too much" her eyes didnt open and body still limp, she knew this would happen, how could it not? virgin's blood was irresistible to vampires.

"i'll be fine with a little rest" she murmured "leave me here if you want, i know you just wanted a meal" her words seemed to cut through even her, elaine was starting to get attached to the vampire, but how? she knew he was dead and probably thought of her as just a pet and nothing more.

"Shut up girtl" He snapped out coldly. "If i leave you here you will die. Other vampire will smeel your blood and want some.' With little effort He pick the small girl up in his arm and continuted walking to his home. "Im sorry" He siged. "Keep taking to me it will help you feel a little better... What is your life like at home? I wanna know more about you."

"why?" she looked up at him having dosed off for a small chunk of time, the time he'd snapped at her, her head leaned on his shoulder, she had almsot been bled dry, which of course concerned her "i wont die" she shivered and looked up at him "it sucks, my father became an alcoholic after my brother was turned then killed.. my mother started whoring around, i'm alone at home" she bit her lower lip when her eyes closed and body went limp, she didnt stop breathing but she did stop talking.

Abel looked down at the poor thing. He didnt know how to act around Humans anymore. There was a part of him the wanted the girl to leave and get out of his hair. Then he wouldnt have to feed or take care of her. Then again Abel also wish for her to stay. She was unlike anyone he had ever meet before. He wanted to Learn more about her hope and dream. He wanted to feel the warmth of her skin and he wanted to hear her heart beat,

With The girl help tightly in his arms. Abel took off in a dash. To church was at the end of the road tucked in a lot that was surrounded by trees. The chruch its self was run down on the out side. THe white walls were warn by the weather and grafiti was all ober the front door. Most of the window where broken letting a light breeze enter the church when ever the wind blow. Abel kicked open the door with his foot and wanting in the old building. The inside wasnt any better there was barly a clear or dry surfeace in the church. The rain storm that hit the other day make sure of that.

Abels eyes looked down at the girl. She was still asleep. She looked like and Angel. It was hard to belive that she could be involed in vamprie matters. Without a moment to spare abel brought the girl upstart to the attic and his 'Home'. and placed her on the matress that layed on the ground.

with elaine's hair spreading onto the mattress she curled into a ball, her blood was 'restocking' she shivered a few times clutching her bare arms, she knew he would kill her eventually, why hadnt he already? she curled into herself as well as she could "so.. cold.." she mumbled while opening her eyes.

they were in a church, her cross had fallen to the ground, she didnt care it was cheap "whe.. you're not going to play with your food further are you?" she looked up at him with an embarrassed expression, she was covered with dirt and blood, she needed a shower, and badly.

Abel took her words as an invite. "Do you want me to play some more?" He removed his coat. The light coiming through the attic windows light up his bare chest. He cralwed over top of her and placed a kiss on her lips. "You need rest. I cant have much fun while my playmate is weak." He droped the coat in his hand on her face and stood up again. there wasnt much here. A tabel and a few candels to light the place at night. "Keep warm. I'll go and get you a real blanket when I can and so some food."

when he crawled on top of her she blushed deeply looking up at him, she kissed him back, but, his cool body only caused her to shiver more, she curled up into his coat. She knew what he wanted to do, and, it turned her body in on itself, her cheeks blushed and back began to tingle, she wanted what he did, but, at the same time elaine did not. How rough would he be? did she really want her first time to be with a vampire? she hadnt the slightest clue

these thoughts occupied elaine's mind which ultimately prevented her from sleeping "th.. thank you" she shuddered "p-play? i.. sometime maybe" she choked out the words unable to fully comprehend whether he liked her or not.

Abel learned back onto his knees and looked up towards the sky. The attic had a high celling. There was never a litle he felt cramped or caged in. It was nice in here. but it only suited his need. There was no running water or heat. Any food that he might bring in would be quickly eaten by the rats. What was he to do. If The girl was to go back to her house then her mother might take action against Him and alert the slayer to his presents... Untill Abel thought of a way to keep the girl's mouth shut about what she knew about vampires. She would have to reamin with him.

"Stay here I have to go out for a momment." Abel bonce onto his feet and walked over to the open attic window. "I dont care if you walk around. Here is no waya you canescape me even if you tried... But if you wander too far something from the dark might try and eat you" With those last words Abel leaped out the window and disapperaed into the Night.

"i dont want to leave" she mused "it's nicer here then in my own home, though colder" she watched while he escaped through the window. She curled further into his coat shivering fiercely. When she shivered her entire body reacted, small bumps wiggled down her slender legs, she was alone and this scared her.

It was hours before able came back to the Attic. Infact if he arrivaled any later the sun would be up. Witout warning Abel picked the girl up in his arm

"I guess you can sleep very well up here... By the way, what is your name? You know mine.. But i dont know yours yet."

There was nothing on value left in the chuch. He could careless if someone else made this place their home. The only thing Abel picked up was a Brown leather book. It cover had a french leaf patten that shine a bright gold in the moon light. Its was the olny thing that had survived with him all these years. His father had given him this book when he was only 10 to write in. Abel wasnt sure what he would do without it.

"Hold on tight to me" HE siad with a chuckel as he leaped out o f the window and landed on the ground with a loud thump.

"elaine" she shivered her skin was almost as cold as his, she burried her small body in his arms in an attempt to warm himself.

thankfully the summer air was warmer while the sun threatened to approach, it welcomed her, enveloping her "why do you want to know my name? i thought i was just your food" she laughed at her own, dark joke.

With a smile Abel replied "Boy, you ask a lot of questions. Cant you just enjoy that i wanna know your name?"

Abel stoped infront of a house that was only a block away from the church he had left. The house looked fancy. Abel walked up and opend the door.

"I hope this is better for you" He Placed the girl on her feet and coniued in. The hous ewas warm but dark every singal window was shut. No light got through "You can have anything here. I dont care. You can open up the windows if you want but only the ones down here. I will be resting upstairs... and Dont go into the master bedroom no matter what. The famliy that ownsthe house is in there."

elaine gasped looking up into his eyes "you locked an innocent family in there? couldnt you have just erased their minds and let them go?" he didnt know the full extent of a vampires powers, she knew much but not alot "sorry for asking so many questions" she shivered standing in a house she knew people were in "you're going to suck them dry arent you?"

"I already have sucked they dry. All I have to do now is wait for the sun to come up and get rid of the bodies." Abel Walked to the couch and layed himself on the soft fabic. "Why do you think I have the power to erase people minds? I dont think i can do that... I have heard that some vampires can use witchcraft.. But I havent meet any personaly." He looked back at the girl. HE could see was starting to get scared agian. "Come sit and we will talk... Now about my question. Will you tell me your name or should I make one Up for you?"

"i've already told you two times now, it's elaine" she sighed, not waiting for him to stand up she sat on his upper abdomen pinning his arms above his head. She was suddenly playful "my name is elaine, elaine, elaine elaine" she paused looking down into his eyes "say it with me now" she wasnt disrespecting him, but she was picking on him.

"why do we need to talk?" she was oddly confident.
