The word "Elaine" Dripped off his lips. His Red eyes searched her face. In the Dull morning like she really did look like an angel to his. Now wanting to wreck the moment he spoke softly
"Im sorry. I must be getting deaf in my old age... Now I wanna hear you say my name before we talk anymore... Say my name." Abel felt completly relaxed, Safe even while he wasnt able to move his body. He let his eyes fall shut and cocked his head tierdly to one side.

"abel" she sighed slowly pulling her hands from his wrists, she kissed the side of his neck with a twisted grin she stood to her feet and helped him up to his "you need sleep dont you?" when she asked this her body reacted in ways she could not understand.

"Yep. You dont know just how tiering it can be to take care of a human" Abel moved for the stairs slowly craling up them. "Why will you be ding while I sleep?" He asked curious about what would be done.

she laughed "like hell i'm going to tell you" she pulled open her backpack pulling out her sketchbook as well as a pencil and eraser "you'll just have to see for yourself sometime"

when the sun rose and set Elaine had fallen asleep on her sketch pad on the couch, she let out a soft yawn every so often, her small body was curled into a small ball basically waiting for him to come down the stairs.

Abel came drawling down the stairs at Noon. He was never the type of person to sleep throught the day time. HE felt to caged and helpless. In the passed a hunt too advatage of this weakness of his and almost killed him. Abel was not going to die like that. He looked at the small girl he had been baby sitting for a full day now. It was nice to see her resting well. It was then the thought crossed Abel's mind "I should make breakfast"

she groaned pulling herself further into a ball, while she did her skirt rose showing off more leg then before, when this happened scars were revealed, a small neat line of scars trailing along her outer thigh, they were obviously self inflicted.

At the age of thirteen Elaine had slain her brother in cold blood, she looked at it as a gift and a curse because she would have haunting nightmares about him telling her she was good for nothing that the reason he was turned was because of her, that she could never find love, that she'd be alone all of her life. That's when she started cutting and about a year ago is when she stopped. Though she did like to pick at the scars, watching them bleed made her feel alive.

The smell of bacon filled the house Abel mummbed away in the kitchen looking cleaing. HE didnt want to make any sound incase he woke the slepeing girl up. He slipped a piece of bacon into his mouth it had been a long time since he had had realy bacon.

"why're you eating?" she asked in a southern accent, she never noticed how thick it was before until now "doesnt it just turn to ash in your stomach?" she laughed to herself pushing herself to her back on the couch, looking up at the ceiling she grinned "playing with your food again?" she laughed

"I might turn to ash, But it still taste good. cant beat real bacon anyways." He pushed a plate towards the end of counter. "here eat." Abel also sat the cordless phone nexted to the plate. "I want you to call home and speak with you mom. Let her know where you are and what you have been up to. But donbt say anything about Vampires or begin hurt.. If you do I will have to kill both of you. Right now i dont want that"

elaine stood up looking over at him then sighed "they wont care where i am anyways" she walked over to the counter taking a piece of baccon into her hand biteing at it and dialed the phone. When she finished she heard a dialtone "hello mom? yeah the school gave me an apartment that i'm staying in sorry for not telling you sooner. Okay, okay love you too bye" she hung up the phone handing it back to him, she ate the food she was given and looked over at him "why're you looking at me like that? are you hungry again?"

Abel shock his head no. "Why do you say that your parents done care? That is something I will never understand about 21 century youth. You kids have so much now a days. Do you wanna talk about it?"

"my dad's an aloholic and my mom could care less about who she hurts" she sighed looking over at him, soon enough she walked around the counter slowly getting closer to him, she felt an odd attraction between them, she couldnt resis him, like he were calling her to him.

Abel sratched his head "That would exaplain why you where walked around so early in the morning. Do you wanna go back to those people? I have some friends that can host you in a new home away from that stuff."

"i wanna stay here with you" she said blushing lightly and looking up into his eyes "why're you so concerned? it's been that way ever since my brother was turned" she sighed

"Its beacusxe Im not human and I dont want you to get mixed up in the world I am. I have many people that want me head" He replied. "Its not a place that a human should be. You cant defend yourslef at all if something evil was to attack...." He replied off. His eyes closing and he relaxed in this chair. "What else can I say? What do you want me to say?"

"i dont know" she sighed "i-if you dont want me around then i'll walk home" she offered slowly walking toward the door holding a hand over the marks he made earlier in the day. She was starting to like having a vampire around her-- she felt so alive.
