so i am an active member of gaia. i have been on just over a year now and i love it there with all my heart, but i am having an issue right now.

a friend of mine started a guild before i joined up. i was invited to the guild and welcomed with open arms. it was great. i really loved being there and it felt like a home away from home even when i was home. nee and everyone there really cared about one another and we all had a lot of fun.

well eventually everyone had to go back to school and the guild started to die down a bit and all. a lot of people stopped being active and such but i tried to stick it out. eventually even i gave up going to the guild though. i couldn't take it anymore so i started my own guild. it was an RP guild and everyone in it was someone i knew liked to RP.

i invited the friend who had made the first guild and she joined but never posted and such. i have a strict rule about active posting and so i had to ban her from my guild, but she kinda blew me off about it. i was upset and was going to quite her guild but we talked and everything was fine.

recently another friend from the guild and i got to talking. we found a third friend from the guild and we thought it would be great to get the whole gang back together in a place where all the newbie members of the guild wouldn't get in the way and stuff. we wanted an escape from their clutches.

the friend who made the guild stopped talking to the third friend we had join us because he bought the guild and such. i was under the impression it was because of the guild thing but nee told me that may not be it so i told my friend i was going to drop what i was saying to her.

she kinda bitch slapped me across the face while she made sure she got the last say. i haven't talked to her since and i am still really upset with her. i am going to quite her guild which upsets me because she was one of my best friends and that guild was the first place i ever really met anyone on gaia at.

i needed to take a break from gaia for a while because i am still upset about everything and i wanted to make sure i am thinking clearly before i go and do something i am going to regret

i know how you feel. i am a user in a very active thread on gaia and recently my friend, well now my ex friend and me got into trouble. she got me banned from the thread and got off scott free with the mods.

i came here to get a fresh start and get away from all that unneeded drama.

The one word that sticks out in Emily Narcotic 's post is drama.(and unneeded) I like Menewsha much better than Gaia, Mene doesn't have all the drama that Gaia does. The only reason people keep on going back to Gaia is because of the addicting pixels. But, this site has that covered to! ^.^
I'd suggest getting away from Gaia for at least a month, clear your head of bad influences that lurk there in the forums.

I think you should avoid talking to her for a while..
But then it kind of depends on the person she is..
Like, if you confront her about it, then she might just do a similar thing again

every once in a while.
For all anyone knows, school could be the reason.
All the tests, cominq back, makinq a first impression.
But it really could just be the qirl.

It's the real world that counts. People will see the real you.
Not some person on an Online Community.

whoa whoa whoa, hold up. you lost a freindship because of an online guild. im from gaia as well, and from what i see, no one takes guilds that seriously.
the biggest problem here is your rule of staying active. that just makes people angry. thats what set of your friend in the first place. my best advice is to say sorry and try again, minus that rule. some people need breaks, they can't constantly come online every day.

In life, there are always unpredictable things that come into play, which is why many of the users in the guilds you mentioned couldn't be bothered to stay active. Some people don't take the internet seriously, and some people do.

I guess you should just accept maybe some people have better things to do than spend time on guilds. :/
