I agree with you--Stephanie Meyer could never be the 'next J.K. Rowling'. She isn't as good of a writer and she'll never be able to reach the same audiences--Twilight won't be as popular with either guys or adults, simply because of the content.

That being said, I always thought Stephanie Meyer just got better and better. She never disappointed her fans. On the other hand, J.K. Rowling clearly didn't put as much effort into her books after the fourth one. And the final book was awful! As a fan, I have a bit more respect for Stephanie Meyer since she kept putting forth her best effort for her fans, even after she became famous.

Silver, we don't do too badly for biting insects here, we get a few, but not hungry hoards of them, it's not really humid/wet enough, thankfully. So you're safe from being dined upon if you do decide to have 40 winks out here *smiles*

:XD I don't know how I'd feel about the mayor cracking my head open.

I liked the Twilight saga. The writing did kinda suck and it droned on and on for a bit... and Bella got annoying at some points, but overall the books were entertaining and I do consider myself a Twilight fan. I'm currently reading the Sookie Stackhouse series because I got addicted to True Blood and now I want to compare the books. I'm only on like page 29 though because Mene and looking at all the pretty arts on Deviant Art is taking up my time. LOL.
