But the legal drinking age here is 16.

@Jennifer: Yeah? Idk... it's really interesting. There was ONE time in my life when I liked the smell. Someone was being caring to me about something right when I needed it and that was what they smelled like so hm. Haven't ever been fond of it since, but it's just strange what kind of things your mind can associate with.

SIXTEEN?! If it was that way here, there wouldn't be any Americans left. We'd all have died in car crashes, shooting and other crap. It's funny, just a few years ago they was debating on whether or not they should lower the legal drinking to 18 here. Of course, it was decided against. Which is a good thing.

Not long before I can drink..legally. I can't wait til I turn 21. 8)

I remember wearing my fathers coat to middle school one day. It smelled of tobacco and the teachers thought I was smoking shiz and whatnot. XD

Woww yeah I'm 16.. I wouldn't like the option right now to drink, frankly. Means less people bothering me about it if I can't. Introducing cars at the same time as alcohol? Hm.. that's..interesting.. unless you can drive at a younger age too. o.o"

I know what you mean about smoke smells. I was just in the casino in Iowa last night, and it reeked. My hair smells like smoke even.

However, there are some tobaccos that smell really nice.

Hey, we're in Oklahoma now!

Alcohol use at a young age in here in US would claim so many casualties. :XD

Smoke smells HORRIBLE. I'm so glad hubby quit. I knew it would of been something we'd argue about relentlessly as I haaate the smell of it so much. I'd kick him outside to smoke!

Nicotine can be addicting. Damn it for making it difficult to quit smoking. I wish my father would quit. He's tried nearly everything, but nothing seems to work.

I think you're right too Jenn.
Here guns are outlawed and driving is 18.
So there are two years of drinking before you can get your license. xD
Plus, getting said license costs only 1.5k. >.>

Awwh yeah my sister keeps on smoking too. I can't bear to share a room with her anymore. I mean.. coming home at odd hours was one thing.. but now it's starting to smell in there. I just hope she keeps herself safe enough. The story has been otherwise when she started smoking before. I mean, she doesn't usually seem satisfied with just one thing....

Drinking and driving - one of the biggest causes of death. So it's a good thing, haha.

So sad that you have to wait til your 18 to get your license though. I got mind when I was sixteen. Only cost me not even $100 though. $1,500 to get a license is nuts!

I can almost always tell who the smokers are. They're clothes always stink; yellowing of teeth (ew!) and other reasons. I remember this lady I used to nanny for. I felt so sorry for her children. That woman mis-used drugs so badly. And she had fricken craters in her face from picking at it so much (because of the drugs).

I think drivers education cost $130; then about $45 to get my license afterward. I remember taking the written test. 25 EASY questions. No wonder so many teenagers are getting in accidents. They don't know how to drive. Yet pass the driving test because it's so extremely easy. :/

Ahhhhh is that why they put bike paths all over the place there!! I only had to spend the night while they repaired the plane, but I got to see a little bit of the place while being driven to the hotel. Looks like an interesting place. I never went outside of Amsterdam though. :O

Pot should be legal, and they should tax the hell out of it instead of wasting shitloads of money to bust people.

When you landed in Schipol, you didn't even see Amsterdam. xD

The south part of Amsterdam is at least 20 minutes away from Schipol.
But yes, lots of bikes so lots of bike paths. ;D

Oh really? I didn't know that. All I really noticed was that the guy who was interrogating me (everyone had to do it) when first moving over to England was really hot and phwoar.

Also the airport is a fairly easy one to navigate. I hate the big ones where you got to take shuttles to the other side. Makes me feel nervous.

Yah or Chicago, or Los Angeles. Always makes me worry I'm going to go to the wrong building and miss my plane. Ah well, I'm not going to be doing any international travel at this rate.
