There are lots of instruments I'd like to learn. I have no talent nor devotion to any of them. xD Its one of those things. You'd like to be supreme ruler of the world, but its not something you openly pursue. Or at least, that's how it is for me.

I love cellos. They have such a mellow sound.

You're right, Jean. It is a very beautiful, mellow instrument.

FakeSunShine - learn to play the piano first! After that, it's easier to learn how to play any other string instrument.

I also want to learn how to play the piano...

AND THE DRUMS.

It kinda sucks that I can hear sounds and play by ear. But that's not enough.

I seem to have the knack for making tunes/songs and if I don't record them or make notes/play by ear sorts, I will lose them to forgetfulness. D:

Which I think is a waste?

Not like it's hard for the world to hear either xD We have 2 Marshall amps and a few mics. *singsing* Mannn I wish that my A Cappella CD wasn't blank. We did the recordings and everything but Brea must have forgotten.. .-.

*shrugs* I like the piano because a lot of different kinds of songs can be played on it. It just seems so... Emotional?

When I was in Bel Cantos, we was tested in front of crowds of people. We would be given sheet music we had never rehearsed before. And was told to sing it. (As a group! So if ANYONE messed up, we would fail miserably, haha.) So it's important you learn how to sight read quickly if you're more into vocals.

... I would probably die.

I can't even get the right note after hearing the song a thousand times. Nevermind on demand.

I can't... read notes. D:

We had it in elementary and HS but I failed miserably. Somehow I got to pass music class anyway. I don't know how I did that though.

I can sing... But I'm not too good at exploiting my ranges.

Too bad for sth this December, I'm stuck singing stuff OUTSIDE my range.

It's killing me. XD

I've been singing since I was in fourth grade, so it comes easily to me. Once you pick up something at an early age, it just comes naturally. People tell me all the time I should go on American Idol. I don't think I could do it though. :XD

Jenny: I made the mistake of having my aunt get it for me for Christmas. She bought a pretty expensive one. >< Mine is acoustic too, by the way. My friend told me acoustic were harder to learn, so I wanted to learn the harder one before I switched to electric. <w<;

Fake: Same with me and singing. People tell me I've got a good voice, but I don't hear it. ._.'

If others tell you that you're good, then you're probably good. :) Don't be so hard on yourself, silly!

Ananas - she told you it is harder? I haven't really played it much. But I think it'd be easier than an electric.

I bet you're as great as others say you are, FakeSunShine. :)

Suona - maybe someday you could purchase a cheap keyboard to practice on. I think they're great to play when you're really sad and whatnot. It always lifts my spirits up.

Sunshine& Jenny: Same with me again. I'm always hard on myself too. ._.''

Sunshine: Keyboards are fun. You can usually do pretty cool things on keyboards too. xP

Jenny: He did. xP He plays acoustic and electric, plus bass. He was wicked good too. Probably still is, but I haven't talked to to him in years. <w<

I was so hard on myself for the longest while, too. But I'm really not too bad. I fail at some instruments. But I don't doubt my vocals at all. They're my best instrument.

Ananas - I guess a person who plays those three would know then, haha. :XD
