I was sleepy earlier, but I had a terrible headache from sleeping in a bizarre position, and perhaps dehydration as well. So I was sluggish all day until I gave in and had an Advil. Now I'm a bit more awake, and naturally, a night-owl on this summer schedule.
So I thought I'd try to draw a few more users before the event ended. n__n

I hate when I get headaches from sleeping in funky positions. Mostly only happens when I sleep on the couch though (puts strain on the whole body). I never am smart enough like yourself to take any pain reliever though. I just keep complaining about the pain instead. :XD

No pressure, teehee.
I've saved things to my desktop in the event that I'm offline for a few days again. I had a habit of doing so, then I stopped right when the modem cooked itself out of commission.
I'm fine, usually, but I guess this was just one of those nights where my neck couldn't take it. And I won't do anything the entire day and keep trying to crack my neck, which just tightens it and makes it worse. So I had a very hot shower and relaxed myself enough where I could pop my spine and neck, which helped a considerable amount. I just have to strengthen my back a bit more and I should be fine.
Or perhaps get rid of a pillow or six.

Perhaps a chiropractor might help. You sleep with a ton of pillows? I don't even sleep with one. I sleep like...on the corner of it. It'd odd.
So what time is it there then?

Neck and back problems...I can sympathize with that.Because of my job,I spend a lot of time in front of my computer as well.It just sucks when your spine feels like a hot string of wire after a day (or five) in front of the screen. >>

I know, gives me even more of a headache when I complain. When I know it'd take less effort to reach for a few ibuprofen and let the pain go away.
I don't often take Advil. It's really that powerful though, huh? What about that Beyer stuff? I think I worry about taking too much pain reliever. Isn't it bad for you liver or something?

I've thought about it, but I don't have the courage or memory to really go see one. It's just a group of friends are always offering to crack each-other's spines. And one's father is a chiropractor. I've never really had a problem, or thought I had a problem. When I do, I just have acupuncture.
teehee, yes. I have many pillows on the bed, but there are only really two that i use. There's one that's quite large and fluffed, while the other is flatter. I'll switch throughout the night, eventually burying my head beneath the pillows and laying flat instead. I starfish it when I'm in my own bed.

I suppose that is how it is here, too. Our family just sort of pops each others backs when needed. I hear it's about $120 just for one session with a chiropractor anyway. .-.
That's how you got to do it! When you're in your own big bed, it's natural to use up all the space on it! Even if it's not needed, haha. Sometimes I place a pillow between my knees when I'm on my side. But I think too much fluffyness makes me feel uncomfortable.

They're not necessarily cheap, no. My mother goes to an acupuncturist here in town that charges $90 a session. Since there aren't many here, the prices are higher. In Seattle, where I've had mine, it's much cheaper because there are so many. I'll get it from a friend, and I feel incredible after. Everything just fits. If you're not afraid of needles or taking off your shirt, I definitely recommend it. I had terrible allergies once, and she used acupuncture to put me right to sleep. I woke up the next day and felt like new; no sign of illness or ache.
I do the same thing! I'll put a pillow between my legs. I think it helps support the hips, right?

Really? I think I want to look into that more then! :O Not afraid of needles, nope. It'd be nice to just be completely relaxed for once. I've never looked into doing that as a treatment though.
Yeah, it's supposed to help keep them aligned so it doesn't cause strain or pressure.

Needles are not as bad as people think they are. They only truly hurt if you're expecting there to be a lot of pain. But I think maybe I just got used to it from being in the hospital a lot when I was younger.
I was a little shaken up though when I was watching House a few weeks ago. And he just ran across the room and shoved the needle in the guys leg. :insane:

Not nice.Even when I'm sick and need to do bloodwork,I'm ok as long as I don't have to look at whatever they are doing to me. X_x

I really enjoyed it. For a couple of months I was on vacation, and started to get incredibly violent allergies. I could hardly see, smell, wasn't sleeping, and just looked a mess. So she stuck them all over; face, arms, legs, chest. Afterwards, you feel so...well, it's this incredible calm and relaxed feeling. There are two different types of acupuncture that I know of.

Oh gosh! I hope you get some rest and heal up before work. I'm sorry to hear about your fever, grey.

It's not bad at all. I had Chinese acupuncture, and you can feel the needles a bit on occasion while she tweaks them. You don't feel them going in or out, but it specializes in certain points on your body, and "energizes" them. My mother doesn't like that at all, so she gets Japanese acupuncture. You can't feel the needles, and she falls asleep almost every time. It's much more gentle and relaxed.
Plus, if you want to wake up, she just pricks the top of your head and you have tons of energy!
