Here is how the riddle goes:
There are three words in the Enlish language that end in -gry. Two are hungry and angry. What is the third word? If you look carefully, you'll find the answer.
The misinterpretation of the riddle is 'language', seeing as it's the third word in 'the English language', but that's wrong.
The word the riddle implies is the answer is 'gry' itself. But that's not the whole of the question. In fact, there are 5 words in all of the English language which end in '-gry'.
Hungry
Angry
Gry (as in the gry of a pig)
Gry (as in a British measurement for 1/30 of an inch, I believe)
Aggry (a prehistoric bead)
