I have just thirty, so I think I'll go and look over at today's clues to see what's up. =D

I've got family that lives there.
Isn't it nuts? There's nothing out there.

Oh Guivre, how terrible! Are you laughing about it yet, or is it all still too fresh (and raw) in your mind?
I haven't traveled much by bus. I would like to take a train trip sometime.

the_paper_crane -- I was surprised to see how people there use the greyhound use it as their local shuttle. D= But I think it would be nice to live say, half the year there and spend summers or winters somewhere else. D=
Nenna -- well, we pulled over to the side of the road while he did some calculating. ._. Yes he was surprised, and we had to detour to fuel up at a regular fill up station. It's a seriously long story, though.
Granny -- it was a year ago EXACTLY, so I think I can laugh about it. =D But it is still a bit tiring to think about.
The last two event items are seriously awesome. I totally called the Star Eater wig item, though it's not unexpected, I just think it's so fun. =D

I don't like bus rides. Especially long ones. Unless it's a charter bus. Comfy seats!

The little stars are just so darn adorable! <3 They look so happy. ^^ The wig is pretty cool too, I like that it comes in several colors so it can match my outfit if I wear it.

My sister never learned to drive a car.
She is totally dependent on the city buses and Jefferson Travel to get where she must go. Greyhound no longer runs in her area.

If I lived in a city, I wouldn't own a car. I'd use the bus systems and trains.
But everything here is miles apart; too far to walk, and the buses aren't the slightest bit reliable.

It's much the same way in Texas. We live in Austin, in a subdivision that doesn't even get any bus service from the city. Yet we pay city taxes. (Very irritating).

I can imagine so. We had a stand-in mayor who cut funding to a lot of much-needed services. Police, firefighting, roads, schools. It was almost as if he didn't want to be elected the next term.
Needless to say, the buses don't follow their own schedule, if they show up at all.
And no free zone. T__T

It's been years since I had to take a bus. I like the ones in the Sacramento area because they showed up regularly and went everywhere. But they were a little expensive.

We pay taxes to get these services, yet they don't deliver them.
Yes, I realize that costs are higher these days, but they do so many other things too.

I use public transportation almost exclusively. There are still some places here that are too far to walk to from the bus stop though. Not to mention buses don't run on the weekends out here, either. The trains/EL are a lot better to deal with.

Ooh busses. They smell bad in the summer. I'm a bus-taker. I don't drive, I hate driving so I'm 22 and no liscense. I had it once, though. I took a Greyhound to TBay once, but then that summer Tim McLean got beheaded outside the city so now I'm not allowed to bus anywhere outside the city. I'm not suprised though. Our bus station is like a crack house. It's so skeevy. We're supposed to get a new one in a better part of town in like... 2012 or something.

It is unfortunate that many of the bus stations are in bad areas of town.

It's because bus transport is for college students and welfare families. And welfare families are often on crack. We don't have any subways or trains here. You bus or walk around the city. That's it.

Hello everyone ^_^
Rampage-- Hey! I'm currently on welfare and my mom's been on welfare for a long time because she is dissabled. And we don't do any drugs. You must be ina bad city or something. And how can anyone on welfare even afford crack, welfare barely pays enough for food.
