I know what you're thinking, "She's posting another thread?!" Yes, I am.

Okay so there is a new slang word going around my school. "Beast" "Beastly" "Beast---"
Honestly, it's one of the oddest slang phrases i've ever heard other than, " Fo Shizzle." At one point, that actually went around my school. Yes, Fo Shizzle was cool once.
I don't get it. I usually don't get slang anyways, though. I can't seem to comprehend how people come up with it, and most importantly. . . why?!
I mean, seriously, does it make you "cool" to use a retarded phrase? They usually don't catch on unless a group of people use them, anyways, so what's the point?
I have to admit, they do amuse me. I can't help but laugh when someone uses a new, more retarded than the last one slang word.

Lol..."Beast?" Okay, I have never heard that one thank goodness. But, I have to admit that I ocassionally say "Fo Shizzle," but only as a joke with my friends. I try to stay away from slang, it degrades the human language (sometimes) in my opinion. I haven't really heard many odd ones, thank goodness. Although, this one ex-boyfriend of mine was really into saying "Groovy."

x3 I wish I hadn't heard it. Everyone is saying it now at my school. It's irritating hearing beast walking down the hallways.
I do say "Fo Shizzle" with my friends. Usually when we're imitating something or just goofing off. It caues a nice laugh, I have to admit. ^^
Yeah, I usually stay away from slang. Not only does it degrade the human language, I feel stupid whenever I use slang words. I don't know why, I just do.

Yes~! I totally agree with you there. My friends and I use slang to make fun of things. But yeah, using them makes me feel less intelligent...I don't know why.

khrome;
That's cool. :3
Surely you use it decently, i've seen the around the forum. ^^
The main thing that bothers me is when it is a) overused are b) used idiotically. Like the guys at my school that use it usually say it really loudly, in a retarded voice. They don't think it's retarded, however, they thinks it's cool.

I think that any word that's over used can be very annoying. Apart from common words, of course.

Slang doesn't normally bother me but the "beast" thing really does.
At my school, the big phrase is "Beast mode it" and I want to punch kids the face when they say it.
I hate it that much.

It's like when you go all out of some activity.
Example: "Oh my god, they're playing my favorite song at the club, I'm totally gonna beast mode it."

I'd like to FALCON.... PAAAAUNNNCHH! anyone who uses slang in a distasteful way... Which is pretty much all of it. xD

I say, "Wow what a beast." And such, in the "He's animalistic" sense. :\
Jeesh, kids these days! XD

21st Century Breakdown; Oh, wow. I would die if I ever heard someone say that. T _ T
RetroTV; Yeah, so would I. It gets really irritating. I can take it at first, but it always gets way out of hand.
I say "beast" in an animal-like way, but not in the slang way. I'm a bit scared to say it now because of the slang.

I don't like it when people say "hecka" and add an a to the end of cuss words.
My friends and I call each other our "Homey-G Poptart" or "Home-Skillin' Biscut!"
I went through a phase where I said "yo" a lot. XD
Everyone was glad when I stopped. ^^;
I odn't like K-Mart commercials. "Rockstare"?
Are you rockstaring me?

My brothers use beast alot, but they don't sound so retarded. That might be becuase they have made up some retarded things that make 'beast' and 'Fo Shizzle' sound tame.

'Dumb as snot' They tack 'as snot' onto the end of pretty much anything. I mean, really. That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I don't even want to know where my brother came up with that...

LOL ROCKSTARE.

I don't know wether I'd get more creeped out at kids using it, or someone I'm staring at asking that! Or just to make fun of someone, I'd go, "I'm rockstaring at you." D: Creeepyy.

Yeah... Walmart came up with it.

If I were the girl who was looking at the guy and he goes, "Are you rockstaring at me?" I would have screamed, "OMFG DUDE, WHAT THE FUCK. WHO USES THAT WORD!? D:"

x___x;
Even if it IS a commercial...

Hope that NEVER becomes slang.
Bad enough with the, "BITCHES UP IN MY GRILLZ?!"

I have a friend that says "Beast!" Other than that, no slang terms that I know of.

My friends I generally only use slang terms when we're making fun of them. I've been told that I speak too properly for my age. xD

... "Beast"???
Never heard that one before. Strange. I don't think I could take "beast mode" seriously hahaha

"Fo sho" seems to be getting popular in my area. I say "for sure" a lot, and if that comes out "fo sho" for you because of the way you talk, that's fine, but it just plain sounds funny to hear suburban white girls say "fo sho."

"Brokeass" is popular amongst my friends. Adjective synonymous to bad, ugly, lame, etc. Ex: "That girl looked like a brokeass Paris Hilton."

I say "sketch" instead of "sketchy" and my friends have caught onto it. & I use a buuunch of slang to mean "cool." Surprisingly, despite living in nor Cal for a couple years, I don't say "hella" very often. I only say it when I get very excited about something, usually in conjunction with a couple expletives.

Okay, so Cyanide goes to a school for juvenile delinquents.
I know, you're probably thinking:
"What does that have to do with anything?!"
Well, being juvenile delinquents, a lot of people spend their time in gangs out on the street when they're not at school.
So, I learned a lot of new slang this year:
"Mad"
"Beast"
"O.D."
"Fronting"
"That's grimy"
There's many more...but it's early in the morning and
Cyanide can't think well.
Let's just say...my school's official language is Slangenese.
