Cool. My brother just bought an electric guitar and is trying to teach himself how to play it. He's very paranoid though, and won't let me touch it! :sweat:

He got a "starter kit" that came with everything he needed, amp, strings, picks, and all that Jazz.

i yeah ive seen those. but i remeber when i bought my new acoustic the clerk told us the stater guitars are flimsy and not as good

Yup. I've been playing for just about a year. I took it as an elective my senior year simply because I didn't want to take chemistry. And then I fell in love with it. I'm still saving up for a weighted keyboard. Right now I've got an okay electric keyboard, but it's keys are so sensitive, and it doesn't have any pedals.
