I was up in Seattle with a friend on vacation. They had an exhibit on the Titanic and one of the things there was this small piece of bulkhead you could touch.

I really enjoyed that exhibit.

I've been out of the whole anime community for awhile, but I used to follow Furuba for a bit, and I have Ouran Host Club somewhere on my laptop, and I used to be a really big Yu Yu Hakusho fangirl.

I'm currently into Glass Fleet and Naruto Shippuden.

Hulu is a wonderful thing for the anime lover.

@Lady: I don't watch very much, hrm i did enjoy Ergo Proxy, Paradise Kiss and Zombie Loan a lot
@Cutie: yeah, i really like dressing up in general, steampunk is really fun to do, i'd like to get some victorian outfits and some more renaissance outfits

@Tam: I have a full peasant girl renaissance costume that I got from the ren faire here, it costed so much, but to me it was totally worth it! xD

@Cutie: I got closer to a wench outfit, and it cost me several hundred dollars, apparently ren faires are really expensive and extremely overpriced
@Sakura: hehe, we have the karaoke competitions, i can't stand them though, but i don't really like listening to people do karaoke all the time, i went to the cherry blossom festival in san francisco this year and in 08 and this year after(maybe before, i can't remember) the sailor moon musical they had a dance/singing contest

I quite suggest going to a smaller con, but the real fun is in the big ones, I went to fanime in '08 and had such a blast! A lot of my friends' have said that Anime Expo is just a bigger fanime with more lines
