Okay, so I'm trying to code my own blog template, since I haven't found any that I like, and I kind of want to be original, anyways. Problem? I'm a newb to coding for both HTML and CSS. And this is where you come in, my lovely fellow Menewshans; please, I'm begging you, in the name of all that is good in the world:
HELP ME.
I'm not asking anyone to do it all for me. I realize that would be stupid as well as selfish. I'm slowly slogging my way through it thanks to the resources I'm finding on the internet. But I do wish that it would go faster; plus, there are just some things that I simply can not understand and can't find anything about.
So I'll be posting here whenever I come across something that I REALLY need help for, when all experimentation comes to naught, and I can not find info about my problem anywhere else. I don't mean for this to be a crutch, but a last resort.
Okay, now for the specifics.
1. Blogspot is my blog's homebase.
2. I'm working from the template Minima Lefty.
3. It's the sidebar right now that's giving me trouble.
4. I can supply the current code that I've got for anyone who's interested in helping me and needs a look at it.
Mai's Current Problem--UNSOLVED:
Q: How do I get rid of that Google Friend Follower application\widget\whatever it's called? It's ugly and all I want is a nice little RSS feed button, but no matter how I phrase a search query on Google, I can't find out how to remove this app. I can't figure out how to remove the code for it either without messing up the rest of the template. It's like a conspiracy to keep people from getting rid of it...
A: I solved it! HUZZAH. Stay tuned for more mishaps in the adventures of Mai's coding...
