I never saw bugs on the scale as they are here in GA. Yes. Black widows. The worst was when we found one in the bathroom.

SPOILERX
It had babies all over it. When we disturbed the adult, literally hundreds of tiny spiders jumped off and started running all over the floor. I cannot even recall what all I used to kill them, but I had to grab a bunch of stuff to do it. Took us nearly a week before anyone had the courage to go back into that bathroom
@ Irukandji: Yeah, interesting little squishies they are.
@ Dejagurl: Crabs are good indeed. What exactly is 'orange roughy'?
The party's going okay, I think all the guests are actually here now. Most people are in the kitchen, standing around and chatting. ^^
@ Elmira Swift: Ah, black widows are bad. Have you tried calling pest control? We used to have a black widow with eggs in our hose nozzle thingy. Don't know where she went.
Eck, you found one in the bathroom? O.O
Guess Georgia has some major black widow issues.
Edit- Dude, that's scary sounding. o.O I'd suggest putting a cup over it next time.

Ohmigod...that is so freaking scary O.o. I'm not even particularly scared of spiders and I find that terrifying. I wouldn't have used the bathroom either...O.o Glad you finally got them though o.O
A cup would have done nothing. I swear it was as bad as it sounded, if not worse. Who knew that black widow babies dogpiled on their mom like that?? Trying to block the memory!
We also have a lot of stick bugs - which are cool! - mantis', dragonflies, fireflies and so on. Several times this summer, I'd see deer right outside our windows.
Ok. On to more cheery subjects. What are y'all planning on doing after the event ends?
Games are slow ways to gain gold. I usually play tetris and post wildly if I'm questing or I buy and sell CIs. Right now, funds are pretty sketchy, so I'm not buying a lot anymore.
I grew up in Rancho Cucuamonga. We'd get attacked by tumbleweeds and we had coyotes and rattle snakes. Pretty much things you could avoid. Lots of that is gone now, courtesy of strip malls and subdivisions. GA was not only culture shock - hello NASCAR - but environmental shock. Still, it's pretty laid back here.
Ahh I had real tacos for lunch. >.< They were awesome with bistek and cilantro and cheese and onions on corn tortillias. >.< I love them. >.< The salsa was so hot though...lol
