Lucina let out a small yawn as she led Adrian off the dancefloor. "What do these festivals have for food?" She asked timidly as she looked around the main path of the festival, never venturing far from Adrian's side.

"Anythin' 'n' everythin'. There's candy of all sorts, candied apples are th' best fer sweets. Fer actual food, There's anythin' from stew, t' lamb kabobs, t' meat 'n' veggie kabobs, t' fruit kabobs, 'n' everythin' in between," explained Adrian with a smile as he wrapped his arm around her and placed a tender kiss upon her head as he wove her through the crowds.

"What's that?" Lucina asked as she stopped Adrian in the middle of the crowd, earning a very angry glare from a woman behind them. Lucina hardly noticed the angry glares from the woman and adoring looks from the men as she stared, mesmerized, at a large ribbon of pink candy being stretched and pulled from a man behind a cart.

Giving the man some coins, Adrian received a small variety of the candy Lucina mentioned. "It's called taffy, salt water t' be exact. It's chewy, 'n' sticks in yer teeth, but it's delicious," he added as he popped a blueberry flavored piece into his mouth and held the tray out to Lucina.

Lucina looked cautiously at the candy before picking up a pink piece and taking a bite. It was chewy in her mouth but the strawberry flavor was delicious so she put the entire piece into her mouth as Adrian had and ate it methodically until the last of it unstuck from her teeth.

Adrian smiled as he watched her try the taffy, "D' ye like it? 'r is it too hard on yer jaw 'n' teeth?"

"I like it." Lucina smiled when the last of the taffy was gone from her mouth. "Its so sweet." She said happily, most of the desserts where she was from had been ladden with chocolate and taffy was a new experience for her. Taking Adrian's hand in her own, Lucina led Adrian back through the crowd and popped another taffy in her mouth as she watched the colorful sights along the streets.

"Its beautiful here." Lucina mused out loud when she'd finished her last taffy. "Which is so strange. I imagined Earth as being dull in comparison to where I'm from and in some ways it is." Lucina pondered, her voice low enough for only Adrian to hear. "But its beautiful here either way." She smiled, knowing she was hardly making any sense.

Adrian chuckled as he wrapped his arm around her waist after popping a piece of taffy in his mouth, "Lu, love, ye'd be amazed at how wonderful Earth is. Ye should see th' Americas. I hear they're even pret'ier than Ireland, though I doubt tha' since our mountains 'n' flowers are quite a beautiful sight. Would ye like t' take a trip up t' th' mountains before ye go?"

"Yes." Lucina said, forcing a smile through the small pang of regret as Adrian mentioned her leaving. Closing her eyes for a brief moment, Lucina fought back the tears that always seemed to reach her eyes when she thought about leaving Adrian and instead focused on how beautiful a mountain would be. "I'd hate to think I'm distracting you from your chores by having you give me a tour of Ireland." Lucina laughed as the hurt subsided.

Adrian chuckled as he gave her a small hug and placed a light kiss upon her cheek, "Lu, don' be silly, I want t' show ye Ireland. Besides, there's not much t' do after we get th' fields planted. After tha' I can take ye whenever ye wish, Lori can hold up th' farm 'til we get back."

"I'm sure she'll love that." Lucina said, her features changing from their doll like appearence and into a scowl, as she leaned into Adrian. "But I would like to see Ireland." She smiled happily.

Tilting Lucina's face towards his as he pulled her aside for a moment, Adrian placed a long, tender kiss upon Lucina's lips. "Lu, don't. Everythin' will be fine 'n' she won't cause a fuss o'er me takin' ye t' the mountains, trust me," Adrian promised with a smile between kisses.

Lucina felt her toes curl in excitement from Adrian's kisses. "If you say so." Lucina smiled, not wanting to fight when she could kiss him instead. "I love you." Lucina whispered softly as she cupped his cheek with one hand and continued to kiss him.

"I love you too," Adrian murmured softly against her lips as he eagerly returned her kisses, feeling elated by the fact that she loved him, a mere mortal, when she could have any man she chose - immortal or not. The fact that she was now choosing him, was more than he could ever have asked for.

"Adrian..." Lucina murmured softly as she twisted her fingers into his hair while they kissed, ignoring teh odd looks they were receiving. Lucina leaned into Adrian slightly as she stood onto her toes to give him a tender kiss.

Resting his forehead against Lucina's, Adrian smiled as he placed a light kiss upon her nose, "I think we'd prob'ly bet'er get back t' th' festival, don't you?"

"Right." Lucina blushed a deep scarlet, having forgotten about the festival all together. Trying to hide her blush through a veil of blond hair, Lucina took Adrian's hand and led him back into the crowd filled with mortal girls who had only moments ago been glaring with jealousy at the couple.

Giving Lucina's hand a light squeeze, Adrian whispered softly as he placed a tender kiss upon her temple, "We'll 'ave plenty o' time fer tha' later when not so many people 're starin' at ye. What would ye like t' see now?"

"I know." Lucina said quietly to Adrian. "I sort of forgot about the festival for a few moments." She admitted before shaking the blush from her cheeks and looking around the festival. "You choose." Lucina decided as she looked up at Adrian. "I want to see your favourite part of the festival." She explained.

Adrian smiled as he placed a tender kiss upon her upturned lips, "I did to, until I saw th' looks the boyos were given ye. As fer me favorite part o' th' festival, tha' happens a' nigh' after th' fire-breathers 're done with their performance. Have ye ever seen fireworks before?"

Lucina smiled as she rested her chin on Adrian's chest. "They're staring at me because I'm a shiny new toy that doesn't look like the Irish girls their so used to." She said, rolling her eyes playfully before turning back to the festival. "And no, I've never seen these fireworks." She said with a light pink in her cheeks.

Adrian chuckled at her explanation of the stares. "Lu, they're starin' 'cause yer beautiful 'n' they're wond'rin' how ye could be with a guy like me," he explained softly as he placed a tender kiss upon her flushed cheeks, "As fer th' fireworks. Ye'll love 'em. They're bright lights tha' fill th' sky with bright colors. It's truly a wonderful sight. But since tha' happens later, what would ye like t' do 'till then? They've got games set up around th' fair would ye like t' try a few o' them?"

Lucina blushed lightly as she ducked closer to Adrian and followed him around the small festival. "Yes." She said as she let her honey blond hair over shoulder and ran her fingers through it loosely. "What kind of games are here?" She pondered as the walked through the festival to where she assumed the games were.

"There's this one where ye throw a ball a' a target 'n' ye try t' dunk a town official, there's another where ye throw a few balls a' three milk bot'les 'n' try t' knock 'em all o'er, there's others where ye try 'n' catch fish 'n' a net 'r try 'n' get a ring 'round a milk bottle, all in hopes o' gettin' a pet t' take home with ye," said Adrian as he led her towards the strip of stalls filled with said games and many more, including multiple card games set up.

"Mortal games are so strange." Lucina whispered softly as she looked around the festival.

"Beautiful lady want a prize?" A carnival man asked as he looked over Lucina a bit more then she was comfortable.

"No thank you." Lucina said as she looked at the man and ducked closer to Adrian.

"No need to be scared little girl." The man laughed roughly, his voice marred by smoking. "Don't ye want ye boy here to get ye a prize?" He asked.

"I said no thank you." Lucina said, her voice a bit harsher, as she took Adrian's hand and led him away from the small game and the rough man in front of it.
