"You're not the only one." Lucina murmured dreamily, as she wrapped her arms tighter around him. "But I like kissing you alot more when I don't have to worry about control." She smiled coyly before bringing Adrian's lips back to her's with a new passion in her kisses, all of her feelings for him rolled into the kiss as she let her control go for a few moments to simply enjoy being with Adrian.

Adrian's control nearly crumbled under her kisses as a shudder of desire went through him. "Lu.." Adrian whispered softly against her lips as he eagerly returned her kisses, his hand gently caressing her curves. "We shouldn't yet," he whispered softly, his resolve shaking and nearly breaking under her kisses.

Lucina let out a small sigh as she broke their kisses and smiled up at Adrian. "Sorry." She said though she couldn't bring herself to regret a moment of it.

"Don' be," Adrian said with a smile as he gently caressed her cheek, "I want t' Lu, but I don' want ye t' regret it.. I don' want t' risk ye gettin' pregnant when ye made it clear yer not ready fer a baby," Adrian added softly, "'n' I understan' tha'. It's just hard when ye kiss me like tha'," he admitted with a blush as he placed a small kiss upon her lips.

"Mortality." Lucina sighed. "I don't like having to worry about being pregnant. I'd rather just be with you." She said as she shifted so that she laid beside Adrian and curled against his side.

Adrian sighed as he held her close, gently caressing her side with one hand while the other traced small designs upon the back of her hand. "I'm sorry, love.. I can't guarantee ye won' get pregnant if we make love.. We'll be takin' tha' risk every time we make love unless ye take yer status as a Goddess a' th' end o' th' year 'n' find a way t' come back t' me in yer Goddess form once in awhile," he explained sadly before placing a kiss upon the top of her head, "I love ye Lu, no matter wha' ye choose.."

"I don't want to go back." Lucina said firmly as she wrapped her arms tighter around Adrian, afriad that he would begin to like the idea of her leaving. "I want to stay with you. I just don't want to be a mother yet." She added sheepishly. "I don't know how to be a mother." She mumbled into Adrian's chest.

Adrian smiled as he gently caressed her back, "Lu, me love, no one does. It's no' sumthin' ye learn, love. It's sumthin' tha'll come t' ye when ye see yer baby. But like I told ye; not until yer ready will we take tha' next step, whether we marry now 'r later. I love ye, Lu, I'll wait fer ye, I promise."

"Why are you always so good to me?" Lucina asked, feeling a blur of butterflies rise in her stomach at being able to hold Adrian in her arms. "I was absolutely horrid to you and you still took me in. And now you tell me that your in love with me and that you want to marry me but your sister clearly has other ideas." Lucina rambled. "I'm talking nonsense again." Lucina sighed as she started to close her eyes. "I must be tired."

Adrian chuckled as he placed a tender kiss upon her head, "Lu, I love ye because o' yer flaws. I can guarantee yer not goin' t' be one o' those wives who agree with their husband abou' everythin'. I like tha' about ye; I like tha' ye voice her thoughts. And I love how I can make ye flustered with just a wee lit'le kiss," he teased gently, "But we'll talk o' tha' in th' mornin'. Sleep now, love," he said warmly with another kisses before gently cradling her against him, his hand caressing her back as he closed his eyes, his face buried in her sweet, golden hair.

Lucina smiled, only half awake through Adrian's explination. Her hair fallen over her shoulders and soaked in the moonlight, Lucina fell peacefully asleep in her fiance's arms.

Adrian smiled as he awoke the next morning and felt Lucina still in his arms. Placing a tender kiss upon her forehead, Adrian slipped from the bed gently, to not wake her up, as he rubbed sleep from his eyes. Tucking her back in, Adrian made his way back to his room to wash up and get ready to begin chores for the day.

Lucina rubbed the sleep from her eyes before reaching for Adrian, her eyes still shut from tiredness. Finding nothing but sheets in front of her, Lucina sighed before sinking her face back into the pillows to fall back asleep.

Unable to find sleep again, Lucina climbed out of her bed and washed her face in the washbasin before pulling on one of Shinorah's dresses. Lucina hovered awkwardly in her room as she was unsure if she should go downstairs or stay in her room. She'd never made breakfast before, it'd always been waiting for her when she was r eady, and she was unsure if it was rude to simply siit in the kitchen, waiting for her meal.

Slipping from his room, Adrian headed downstairs to begin making a small breakfast of mixed fruits and freshly squeezed orange juice, his eyes drifting up to his fiancee's bedroom door as he worked, a smile upon his lips as the word remained in his thoughts; Fiancee. Lucina, the darling, beautiful, perfect Goddess she was, had agreed to become his wife. Whatever had possessed her to say yes, was beyond him; but he was deeply euphoric that she had accepted his proposal.

Lucina fought back her awkwardness when she heard Adrian in the kitchen and made her way down the stairs. "Good morning." She said happily as she nearly skipped over to Adrian and took his hands away from his work with her lips pressing lightly against his. "Told you it was going to storm again soon." Lucina laughed seconds before a rip of thunder was herd overheard. "It'll clear up before Shinorah and Lori go to the festival though. Its just supposed to last the morning." Lucina said dreamily as she looked out the window before turning back to Adrian and giving his lips a soft kiss.

Adrian laughed as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close. "Guess tha' means I'm rained in again, doesn' it. Wha' would ye like t' do after breakfast?" he inquired softly between kisses.

"Kiss you?" Lucina offered with a grin, glad for the gloomy change in weather. Lucina wrapped her arms around Adrian's neck as she stood on the tips of her toes to give him a tender kiss.

Returning her kiss eagerly, Adrian chuckled softly. "I think I've learned a way t' get me way in an argument; threaten not t' kiss ye anymore," he teased with a grin as he picked Lucina up by the waist and held her against him as he deepened the kiss, his tongue slipping between her lips to caress her own.

"Now why would you do something silly like that?" Lucina asked with a smile as she wrapped her legs around Adrian's waist. Lucna tangled her hands firmly in Adrian's hair, tilting his head back slightly, as she placed kisses along his jaw and neck.

Arching his neck towards Lucina's lips, Adrian chuckled as he leaned back against the counter and murmured softly, "I 'ave no idea, love; but it's an option if I'm desp'rate enough. Let's hope I'm never tha' desp'rate; I'm no' so sure I'd be able t' last very long," he admitted with a laugh as he brought her lips back to his in a number of kisses; one hand caressing her bottom so she didn't fall while the other caressed her waist, "I love ye Lu."

"I love you too." Lucina said happily between kisses. "Which is exactly why you should just kiss me and be happy." She laughed against his lips while her legs tightened around his waist so that their bodies molded together.

Adrian chuckled as he held her closer and deepened their kisses, "I think I can manage tha', love." Shifting Lucina so it was easier to carry her in that position, Adrian headed into the living room and, due to their position, it was easier just to lay down than to try and shift her beneath him. Laying back into the couch, Adrian's hand tenderly caressed Lucina's thigh beneath her dress as he pulled her in for a number of kisses. "Too much?" Adrian asked softly, his breathing a bit fast from their kisses.

"No." Lucina assured him between kisses, not wanting to let the moment go just yet when she already had him in her arms. Lucina let her hands wander over Adrian's chest to the hem of his shirt and back to his chest again, caressing the smooth muscles underneath.

Shuddering lightly under her touch, Adrian pulled her closer against him as he continued to kiss her lips; one hand pressing harder into her thigh while the other slid up her dress to caress her curves and waist alternately, completely lost in her touch and kisses.

Never before had he been this close to a woman, nor had he ever felt this way about anyone. Lucina was a first and only cause for everything that was happening to Adrian right now - his thoughts completely blurred as his body acted of it's own accord.

Realizing how intimate he was getting, Adrian blushed and removed his hands from Lucina; aching to go further yet knowing they couldn't. "I'm sorry Lucina.. Fergive me.. If we don't stop.. I won't be able t' control how far I start t' go.." Adrian managed to say as he tried to calm his breathing and racing heart, beginning to shift and slide Lucina off of him so he could get up and clear his head.

Lucina bit her bottom lip to hold in a disappointed sigh as she crawled away from Adrian and sat with her knees at her chest. "Sorry." She said though she couldn't find the feeling behind her words. Fixing her dress some, Lucina ran the hem to its proper length as her head rested against the back of the couch.

A sick sort of feeling came over Lucina as she looked over at Adrian. She felt horrible for tempting him as much as she did but in truth she only wanted to be with him, and it was much more rewarding when she wasn't stuck worrying about their limits.
