Lucina felt a shiver run down her spine as she leaned into Adrian. "Both." She murmured softly as she leaned back against the counter, pulling Adrian against her with one of her hands that was twisted in his hair and the other pressed between his shoulderblades.

"Good t' know; I'll be sure t' kiss ye th' next time yer angry over Lori," Adrian teased as he turned his attention to the opposite side of her neck, a rush of desire at her touch rushing through his veins as he held her close, "I love ye Lu."

Lucina felt a twinge of anger that he would mention Lori at, what seemed like, a very inappropiate time though the anger was extinguished under his kisses. Lucina lifted the hem of his shirt and slipped one of his hands to caress the smooth muscle underneath as she bent her head to give his lips a soft kiss.

Not noticing Lucina's small change in feeling for it vanished as quickly as it came, a soft moan escaped Adrian's lips at her touch as his fingertips gently pressed into her hip and neck as he pulled her closer to him; eagerly returning her kisses as his tongue slipped between her lips.

Lucina felt her toes curl behind Adrian's back as she paused their kisses to lift his shirt over his head, dropping on the floor to his side. Lucina brought Adrian's lips back to her's in a number of kisses as her hands traveled over his soft skin.

Adrian shuddered with desire under his touch as he lost himself in her kisses, his hands slipping beneath the hem of her dress and tenderly massaging her skin as they traveled across her thighs and curled around her buttocks; pulling her closer to him before traveling up her back and caressing her curves as he kissed her.

Lucina felt her skin ignite with fire where Adrian's fingers had traced under her dress. Lucina brought her lips to Adrian's with a new passion, one filled with desire and lust.

As his hand began to remove Lucina's dress, Adrian stopped and let the dress fall back into place, a blush filling his cheeks as he broke their kisses and rested his forehead against her's, "Lu, love; we'd bet'er stop.."

Lucina couldn't hold back a disappointed sigh as she dropped her arms. "I'm sorry." She said softly as she hopped off the counter and slid out of Adrian's embrace. She felt herself blush at her action which was followed by a wave of disappointment that Adrian had stopped them. She was glad of course that he had but at the same time she'd wished that he had removed her dress.

Wrapping his arms around her waist from behind with a sigh, Adrian placed a tender kiss upon the base of her neck, "Lu, don' be sorry. Ye know I want t'... I want t' make love t' ye more than ye prob'ly know, love. But I also know yer not ready fer th' possible consequences.. Ye may not become pregnant th' first time we make love, but ye may th' time after tha', 'r the time after tha'. We jus' don' know.. And until yer ready t' have me baby, we can' go tha' far," Adrian explained sadly as he placed another kiss upon her neck, knowing how she was feeling at the moment.

"I know." Lucina said softly as she leaned back against him. "I just wish we didn't have to stop." She added as her hands laid over Adrian's.

"Me too, love," Adrian whispered against her neck with another kiss before resting his chin gently against her shoulder, "Me too. Bu' I'm afraid we 'ave no other option bu' t' stop fer now," Adrian added softly as he tilted his head to look at her profile, "It's th' only way t' keep ye from gettin' pregnant when ye don' want a baby."

"I know." Lucina said as she flashed Adrian a small smile and stepped out of his embrace. "So what to do now?" She called back as she entered the living room to take the book they'd read back to his room.

"Anythin' ye wish, as long as it doesn't lead t' one o' us bein' too tempted," Adrian called after her as he followed her to the stair and waited at the base as she took the book to his room.

Lucina placed the book back on Adrian's shelf before running her fingers through her blond hair, contemplating. The farmhouse was remote, something that didn't always provide for a variety of things to do. Bounching down the stairs, Lucina put her arms around Adrian's neck. "You grew up here. What's your favorite thing to do?" She asked.

Wrapping his arms around her waist, Adrian smiled as he looked down at her and placed a light kiss upon the tip of her nose, "Well, there's a river near by, would ye like t' go there 'n' sit fer awhile? It's quiet 'n' a good spot fer readin'; spent most o' me time there when I was a wee lad, 'til me da' died," Adrian added with a smile.

"Sounds fun." Lucina said as she took Adrian's hand in her own and led him towards the front door.

Slipping his arm around her waist, his hand resting upon her hip, Adrian smiled as he led her through the paths between the fields, "So, me love, would ye like t' walk through th' woods before we reach th' river 'r jus' walk along th' river?"

"Along the river." Lucina said quickly, her nose wrinkling slightly at the idea of walking through the woods. She'd never been through a forest before but she wasn't about to start now.

Adrian chuckled as he placed a light kiss upon her temple, "O' course, love." Leading her away from the woods and over a hill, Adrian brought her towards the lake and sat down upon the grass, which was still a bit damp, and sat down at the river's edge. "So, love, would ye like t' return t' th' festival t'night? 'r d' ye want t' stay home?"

"I want to stay here." Lucina said softly as she sunk to the ground beside Dimitrius and wrapping her arms around her knees which she brought to her chest.

Wrapping his arms around her waist, Adrian rested his chin gently upon her shoulder, "Lu? What's wrong?"

"I've already told your mother and sister that I'm leaving in a year." Lucina explained quietly. "They're just going to think I came here to steal you away from them when we get married." She said, burying her face in her hands. "The last thing I want to worry about on our wedding day is whether or not your mother approves of it." She said, not particularly caring if Lori did.

Adrian chuckled as he placed tender kisses upon her neck, "Lu, is tha' wha' yer worried abou'? Lu, me mum loves ye, she doesn' think tha' abou' ye, I promise! We'll tell them th' truth, me dashin' good looks swept ye off yer feet 'n' talked ye int' stayin' ferever."

Lucina laughed as she leaned into Adrian. "I thought we were going to tell them the truth." She teased as she wrapped her arms around his waist, arching her neck for his kisses.
