Lucina felt a grimace fall across her lips as she moved to the icebox and put a few pieces of fruit on the counter. "I tried a knife before." Lucina sighed as she held up her scarred finger, a small pout on her mouth. "Is there no easier way to eat fruit then to injure yourself cutting it?" She asked, more to herself then to Shinorah.

Shinorah nodded with a smile as she finished the batter and poured four pancakes onto the pan to cook. Taking a knife and placing the fruit upon the cutting board, Shinorah smiled, "Here, watch me, love."

After demonstrating the proper way to cut it, Shinorah handed the knife to Lucina encouragingly, "Now you try."

Lucina took the knife shyly as she followed Shinorahs' example carefully, keeping her fingers a safe distance from the knife. "Like this?" She asked as she continued to cut the fruit. She was infact cutting them properly however it seemed to take her nearly twice as long to do so as she eyed the distance between the knife and her fingers.

Shinorah smiled as she nodded in approval, "Perfect! And once you get the hang of it, I promise you'll be faster in no time. Just keep practicing with that other fruit there," Shinorah smiled as she motioned towards the fruit upon the counter before going back to the stove and flipping the pancakes so they didn't burn.

Lucina nodded, not caring that Shinorah probably couldn't have seen her, and continued to cut up the fruit slowly. Sliding the fruit onto a nearby plate, Lucina felt her speed pick up somewhat though she still couldn't match Shinorah's speed through her wariness of the knife.

Sliding the pancakes onto a plate, Shinorah poured more batter onto the pan. "If you want, love, you can start preparing plates for breakfast. three pancakes a plate, then just divide the fruit equally," Shinorah said with a smile. "If you need more fruit, there's more in the ice box and on the corner counter; feel free to cut it up," Shinorah said with a smile as she waited for the pancakes to cook.

"Is Adrian not eating?" Lucina said, feeling concern leak into her voice as she pulled three plates out of the cupoboard. Putting a few pancakes on the plates, Lucina divided the fruit and spread it evenly on each plate beside the pancakes.

"O' course he is, love. He's out in the barns tendin' t' the animals. Give 'im time, he'll be in. If ye'd like, ye can go fetch 'im," Shinorah said with a warm smile as she flipped the pancakes.

"Really?" Lucina asked, pleased with the idea of seeing Adrian as she looked over at Shinorah. "You wouldn't mind? We'd only take a few moments and I'll be back to help you." She said quickly, the smile evident on her face.

Shinorah smiled as she nodded and filled another plate full of pancakes, "Aye, aye, go ahead love."

Lucina simply grinned in response as she hurried to the door, slipping into her shoes before heading out the door and towards the barn. Peeking her head in the door, Lucina forced to calm down at the sight of Adrian as butterflies erupted in her stomach. "Morning." She smiled as she stepped into the barn and walked gracefully towards Adrian.

Placing feed into the trough, Adrian looked up at the sound of Lucina's voice and grinned; love filling his features as he looked at his soon-to-be-bride, "Mornin' love, sleep well?"

"Very well." Lucina said as she made her way over to Adrian and put her arms around his waist. "And you?" She asked before pressing a kiss against Adrian's in a tender kiss, her small frame leaning into his.

"Careful love, ye don' wan' t' get yer dress all dir'y," Adrian warned lightly between kisses, though he leaned into her as well. Careful not to get her dirty with his work gloves, Adrian chuckled as he eagerly returned her kisses, "Quite well, love, once I knew ye were 'appy again. Though I'll like me sleep more once yer properly beside me like ye should be," Adrian added with a wink and a tender kiss.

"I think I'll take kissing you over getting dirty." Lucina grinned as she pulled Adrian closer to her. "I love you." She murmured happily as he fingers tugged lightly at the front of Adrian's shirt.

"I like the sound o' tha' love." After taking off his gloves and setting them on the nearby stall door, Adrian wrapped his arms around Lucina and lifted her from the ground slightly to rest against him as he tenderly kissed her, "I love ye too, Lu."

Lucina grinned as she left a few tender kisses on Adrian's lips. "Are you going to be in the barn all day today?" She asked with a small pout as her kisses subsided and she rested her forehead against Adrian's.

"O' course not, love. Just this evenin'. Did ye 'ave anything in mind t' do t'day?" Adrian asked with a smile as he lightly caressed her cheek with the back of his fingertips.

"Well I want to kiss you." Lucina smiled as she pulled Adrian closer to her. "And then we could kiss and then maybe we could kiss." She laughed before catching his lips in a tender kiss.

Adrian chuckled as he eagerly returned her kisses, "I rather like tha' idea, love. Shall we take another trip t' th' river?" Adrian suggested with a wink and another kiss

"I think we should." Lucina grinned. "The weather is going to be perfect today. How does a picnic sound?" She asked. "Shinorah's teaching me how to use a knife. I could make us lunch." She offered between kisses, a proud smile on her lips.

Placing a long, tender kiss upon her lips, Adrian smiled warmly, "Ye learned how t' use a knife love? I'm proud o' ye! I'll have t' watch yer newly found knack this afternoon when ye make th' sandwiches," Adrian said with a wink and another passionate kiss, "Ye'll be a human house wife in no time, love. I told ye ye'd catch on quick," Adrian teased with a wink.

"I didn't say I was good at cutting up anything." Lucina laughed. "I only said I was learning. And speaking of breakfast, I told your mother that I'd only be a few minutes getting you. Unless you want to distract me some." She added wiht a coy cmile before giving Adrian a tender kiss.

Adrian chuckled as he picked her up by the waste and set her upon the stall door, moving to stand before her as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "I rather like th' idea o' distractin' ye," Adrian said with a wink as he placed long, tender kisses upon her lips. "'n' as fer ye learnin' 'bout th' knife, I'm sure ye'll be perfect in no time," he encouraged with a warm smile after a few kisses.

Lucina simply smiled in response as she wrapped her legs gently around Adrian's waist, tugging him closer to her by hooking her ankles behind his back. "I love you." She murmured against his lips before deepening their kiss, her tongue sliding between his lips to caress Adrian's.
