"I'm fine." Lucina said with a small smile as she finished the sandwiches and carefully placed them into the basket before turning to Adrian. "How is your mother going to get my parents here when they're all the way up there?" She asked softly, looking upwards.

Placing a tender kiss upon her lips, Adrian murmured softly against her lips, "D' ye think they'd be watchin' over ye? Ye could always tell 'em. Well, a' least tell th' sky anyway, 'n' 'ope sumone tells yer parents," Adrian suggested with a warm smile, "D' ye want 'em 'ere, love? If ye truly want yer fam'ly 'ere, I'll try me very best t' find a way t' reach 'em, I promise."

"Don't worry, Adrian." Lucina said softly as she cupped his chin gently. "I'll take care of it." She murmured as she stood on her toes to give Adrian a soft kiss. "Are you ready to leave, love?" She asked as she folded a nearby tablecloth and placed it into the basket.

"Aye," Adrian said with a warm smile before placing a long tender kiss upon her lips and taking the basket in his hand, his other slipping around Lucina's waist and pulling her closer for another kiss. "Mum, we're leavin'," Adrian called softly as he lead Lucina to the door.

"Alright, loves, don' stay out too late. Be sure t' be back fer supper," called Shinorah with a soft chuckle as she continued working on her sketches, waiting for Lori to get up and finish the chores.

Lucina smiled happily as she leaned into Adrian, her arm hooking around his waist as they left the house. "Where to now?" She asked as she looked up at her fiancee, her head leaning against his shoulder.

"Well, love, ye 'ave a choice. We can go back t' th' river, 'r we can go t' th' meadow a wee bit farther down th' property. Where would ye like t' go?" Adrian inquired with a warm smile as he placed a long, tender kiss upon his fiancee's upturned lips.

"The meadow." Lucina smiled against Adrian's lips before standing on her toes to give him another small kiss. "Which way?" She asked before standing flat on her feet again and looking around the property.

"It's in th' woods, love, about a kilometer pas' th' river," Adrian said with a warm smile as he led her towards the path leading to the river that they had taken before. "So wha' did Mum sketch ye, love?" Adrian inquired, curious about he sketches. "Nuthin' fer me I hope," Adrian added with a laugh, "I don' wan' t' play dress up when ye two start tryin' t' find me a suit fer th' weddin'. Promise t' save me fer las'?" Adrian teased as he placed a tender kiss upon her cheek.

"Promise." Lucina smiled. "She just sketched a wedding dress. Though I do feel as though I'm taking advantage of her. Shinorah is so incredibly selfless, it makes me feel bad." Lucina said with a small pout, not liking the small twisting of guilt in her stomach.

Adrian chuckled as he pulled her close, "She loves ye Lu, yer like another daughter t' 'er. Despite ye only comin' a month ago, she'd come t' love ye like on o' 'er own. Ye really don' know how happy she is tha' yer stayin' 'n' tha' ye love me like I love you," Adrian said with a warm smile as he gazed down at his beautiful bride-to-be, "It still amazes even me tha' I get t' keep ye ferever 'n' tha' yer givin' up yer life as a Goddess t' come 'ere 'n' live with me, 're on Earth, 'n' live like a mortal."

Lucina had to fight to keep her nose from wrinkling at the mention of being mortal. It wasn't that she didn't want to spend her life with Adrian for she loved him more then anything. But the idea of mortals being weak and pathetic was so deeply ingrained in her it still caused an initial reaction of fear mingled with disgust.

Adrian couldn't help but chuckle as he felt her tense against him. "Don' tell me ye've changed yer mind, love, now tha' ye realize ye 'ave t' be mortal t' stay with me ferever," Adrian teased, though a hint of fear could be heard in his tone and seen in his eyes, which he kept straight ahead as they neared the river.

"Of course not." Lucina said, shaking the thoughts away. "It just feels so strange to not be a Goddess. I'm used to being beautiful, strong, and powerful. And now I'm going to be a mortal." She frowned, referring to her few powers that remained.

Adrian sighed as he held her close, "Lucina, yer still the most beautiful girl in this universe; nothin' can compare t' ye. As fer strength: Well, love, ye go' plenty o' tha'. Look a' wha' ye've done over jus' this month alone! Ye've gotten th' hang o' th' farm 'n' 'ave been helpin' with the chores, yer dealin' with Lori 'n' 'er antics splendidly. As fer powerful, yer still powerful, love. When ye walk int' a room ev'ryone turns t' look at ye. Ye command ev'ryone's attention withou' even tryin'."

Pulling her to a halt and turning her to face him, Adrian tilted her chin so that he could look into her eyes, "Love, yer everythin' ye were, jus' in a new way. Don' ye see tha'?"

"But I'm not the same as I was as a Goddess." Lucina said quietly, looking away. "I'm good at being a Goddess not a mortal." She sighed as she took her chin out of Adrian's fingers to begin walking again.

"Lu..." Pulling her to a halt, Adrian sighed as he caressed her cheek tenderly, "Wha' makes ye think yer no' a good mortal. Lu, yer perfect. No one could ever ask ye t' be any bet'er than ye already are. Why can' ye see how wonderful ye are? Why can' ye see why I love ye so much? I wish there was some way I should show ye," Adrian said softly as he looked at her, love and adoration in his eyes as he gaze upon his beloved, his facial features forming a nearly pleading look as he tried to find a way to make her understand just how amazing she really was.

"I understand, Adrian." Lucina said softly as she cupped his cheek and gave him a tender kiss. "I'm not doubting your love. I'm only saying that I'm still half-Goddess, which is why you can see my glow." She explained. "And a Goddess has a natural attraction to her that mortals can't resist. I'm afraid that when I'm fully mortal and its lost I won't be the same for you." She admitted.

Adrian frowned as he pulled her in for a long, tender kiss, "Lucina, I'll love ye ferever - Half-Goddess, Full-Goddess, or Non-Goddess. Yer not losin' me tha' easily, I promise ye. Please don' doubt me.. I will prove t' ye me love in eleven months, after ye turn mortal," Adrian promised with a warm smile and a sweet, tender kiss.

"I'm going to hold you to that." Lucina smiled as she put her arms around Adrian's neck, standing on her toes to return his kiss. "I love you." She murmured happily against his lips.

"I love ye too Lu," Adrian murmured against her lips between tender kisses, each kiss growing in passion as he pulled her close and let the basket fall from his hands so that he could have a better hold on her and pull her closer, "so so much. Don' ever ferget tha'."

"I won't." Lucina promised as she pulled Adrian tighter against her, one hand tangled in his smooth hair. The picnic basket forgotten, Lucina molded her body to Adrian's as she lost herself in his kisses.

His hand slipping low upon her back, Adrian caressed her curves tenderly as he pulled her close, their kisses increasing as Adrian's heartbeat quickened and his breathing became more rapid. His thoughts completely lost in her kisses, Adrian's hand began to gather her dress within his hand and lift the hem higher until it reached her waist, his hand slipping beneath to caress the bare skin of her thigh and back as he continued to kiss her.

"Adrian..." Lucina murmured, suddenly aware of how open the field was around them. "Maybe we should keep going." She said with a bright blush as she forced away the fire in her skin where Adrian had caressed her.

Adrian blushed a deep scarlet as he immediately fixed her dress, "F-F-Fergive me, Lu.. I didn't mean t' be so forward 'n' go so far... Please fergive me," Adrian whispered as he rested his forehead against hers, "I'm so sorry, love, so very sorry.."

"You don't have to apologize." Lucina smiled as she tenderly caressed Adrian's cheek. "We're just a bit out in the open. Perhaps we should continue elsewhere?" She offered as she bent down and picked up the picnic basket.
