He made a show of rolling his eyes and sighing in annoyance, gritting his teeth slightly. Although Cassiel made sure to keep the anger away from his hands so he wouldn't hurt Delia. Looking up in alarm though, he stiffened as he felt suddenly very ill. The young man was half tempted to take something himself just to go to sleep and get away from the stench of alcohol. Glancing to Taylor, he gave her a desperate 'do something or I will!' look. Cassiel's version of doing something would probably involve dragging Henri to a dark corner and torturing him in the worst possible ways. Well, he had learnt a thing or two from the other fey.

Ivan stayed quiet in the back with his lions. He didn't like drunk people and the lions all knew it. They where always loud and mean. SO he patted Sarra on the head "lets go back to the ring, everyone is to loud here." he said and they all started to head back to the ring. His cat ears where more sensetive then humans so when they yelled it hurt his ears.

Taylor caught Cassiels look and without even thinking twice walked up behind Henri and pulled hard on his pony tail. The ring leader didnt notice at first, too drunk to respond quickly to the pain. Not satisfied with his reaction, Taylor yanked on his hair hard enough that she actually ripped a chunk out of the back of his head. But the force was too great for him and soon Henri lost his balance completely and fell to the floor with a loud thump.
For a moment he didnt move at all, having the wind knocked out of him as he sprawled out on the cold dirt floor. But after a few beats he started laughing like a little kid making Taylor shake her hand with embarrassment.
"Sorry about that..." Taylor said, referring to her cousin's actions.

"Hnn..."
Delia felt very intimidated when Henri went too close to her, attempting to talk sexy to her. She rounded her eyes as she saw Ivan leave, then Taylor pull Henri down.
"O-oh dear..." she murmured. She placed her hand on her temples, closing her eyes while taking a deep breath.
"Is... is Mr Henri always like this? Sir?" she asked Cassiel tentatively. She moved her good wing a bit, accidentally brushing her soft feathers across Henri's nose, tickling his nose.

Henri just giggled harder as the feathers brushed over his lips. As a stray one fell onto his face, he took hold of it and started fiddling with it dreamily in his hands. Maurice actually looked scared of his mentor at this point. He had never really seen him so drunk. Hang over yes, but not drunk. Both Taylor and Henri himself made a point to keep him out of sight when this happened, today was just unlucky.
"No..." Taylor said and kicked Henri hard in the gut, making him squeak like a dog toy, "This is just his...happy time i suppose. Hes much better when he isnt drunk out of his mind"

Cassiel gave Henri a disgusted look. He never touched alcohol personally. For some reason, even one small glass seemed to make him drunk. Glancing back to Delia, he shrugged slightly.
"Not this bad normally...Though I wouldn't put it past him to be worse when we aren't around." He answered before finishing splinting the wing. Pulling back, Cassiel looked over his work before nodding. "You shouldn't move it too much, I'm no expert...But it should hold till it heals." He told her, grinning slightly.

"Oh..." Delia stared at Henri, feeling pitiful for him. "The poor man..." She turned to look at her injured wing, feeling better after Cassiel finished treating it.
"Thank you, sir!" she beamed, shaking his hand in gratitude. She tried to retract her wings, but she felt a slight tug from her good wing. Henri seemed distracted by it, but she did not mind much. She looked around, then turned to Taylor.
"Excuse me? Is... is it okay if I joined you guys? I'd like to help," Delia offered, starting to trust them even more.

"I like him," Henri loudly whispered to Taylor, pointing to Delia.
"Shes a girl," Taylor said with a role of her eyes.
"I still like him," He giggled. Taylor just rolled her eyes and looked back over to the girl. She forced herself to smile apologetically, still very much embarrassed because of her cousin. After a moment she went over to the first aid bag and pulling out a bottle of an assortment of pills. Henri took a swat at the bottle but Taylor kicked him in the ribs again shouting a scolding, 'No' at him, making him sink back like a beaten puppy. With one last little sigh, she clinked out two white pills and offered them to Delia.
"Here...these will help dull the pain a little," She said and returned to the matter at hand, "And as far as the job, Its normally not my call..." Taylor pointed out, "But because our employer is a bit out of sorts Ill speak on his behalf in saying yes. Besides we really need help. What would you be interested in doing?"

Delia blushed, overhearing what Henri said about her. She seemed to huddle within her wings, then tentatively took the pills from Taylor, popping them into her mouth before swallowing.
"Thank you... oh, I... I'm what people call, a snake charmer... And ah, I can fly, obviously, but not in this current state of course... erm..." she seem flustered at that point. "M-maybe you can let me do some odd jobs for a while... sorry I'm not much of a big help..." she said, her voice shaking nervously.
"Eek!" She jumped, as she felt a small yet sharp pain from her right good wing. She saw Henri holding one of her feathers, as if it was a rare precious stone. She blushed again, giggling nervously. "I wonder where the little lion boy went," she said, looking for him. She looked at Maurice, suddenly remembering that she kept him there in her hugging position for too long. "Oops! Sorry," she laughed, patting his head.

Ivan came running over to the others out of breaht. "guys there is a crazed girl that is climbing up one of the poles in the ring and another girl that looks exactly like her on the ground." he said and you could tell that he was freaked out.
Terra had wondered into the circus ring when sarra was gone and was climbing up what she thought was a tree. She wasn't afraid if she fell since she knew that she could get hurt at but that didn't mean her sister wasn't afraid. She could feel her sister silently yelling at her to come down. "I will come down soon." she called down and was half way up the pole.
Sarra was on the ground waving her arms and yelling but nothing was coming out of her mouth. These where times when she really wished that she could speak and tell her sister that she was a idiot. But she soon stoped waving her arms and just watched her sister climb up the pole. She couldn't get hurt but that didn't mean she still didn't worry about her sister.

Cassiel made an irritated noise as Delia almost seemed to show pity for Henri. He personally didn't care for the man, other then the fact he had given Cassiel another home. Sometimes, they got on well, other times Cassiel was half tempted to murder him in his sleep. Not that he ever would of course, the fey side wasn't strong enough and his human side despised the thought of death. He was surprised as she shook his hand and thanked him.
"It's Cassiel, or Cas...Or Pixie if you want." He answered, eyes glinting slightly, as if suggesting she try and guess why he was also known as Pixie. Glancing up at Taylor, he smiled slightly.
"No offence Taylor, I know blood is thicker than water, but I really don't see how that thing is related to you." He half joked, raising an eyebrow as Henri tugged at Delia's feathers. That had to hurt, even if just a little. Thankfully, his own wings were retractable, only came out when he was terrified, and had nothing to pull at. "Snake Charmer? Sounds cool, it would give the audience a thrill, and so would some acrobatics in the air, when your wing's better. That shouldn't take too long hopefully, I don't think the injury is really, really bad." He muttered thoughtfully. His head jerked up in surprise at Ivan's voice, frowning in confusion. "Ivan, we don't have twins here...And I really doubt someone would just wander in here to climb a pole." He pointed out, not quite believing the lion tamer.

Ivan growled and stomped his foot "but there is, she just wondered in here like she couldn't see a thing, bumped into the pole and started to climb it. Then after a few minutes a girl that looked exactly like her came in here and started to yell but nothing came out of her mouth. It is really weird and I am telling the truth." He said and took Tylors hand "you have to get her down before she hurts herself." he said as he pulled her towards the ring.
Tarra was almost at the top of the pole now and sighed. "what kind of thing am I climbing here." she said to herself and wrapped her legs around the pole and let go with her hands. "you know I didn't think this is a tree anymore sarra, it feels more like a pole or something." she said and stayed like that on the pole with her hands hanging down.
Sarra sighed and gave her sister a evil look even thought that she knew she couldn't see it. she is such a idiot she thought to her self and then snapped her fingers a few times saying in her language to her sister 'it is a pole you idiot.' when she was done snapping she heard her sister laugh.

"Thank you," Delia giggled, letting go of Cassiel's hand. She smiled when he mentioned the word 'pixie' as his nickname.
"Pixie? That's an interesting name... why 'Pixie'?" She asked, curious. She stole a few glances at Henri, sighing, then looked up to see Ivan looking quite unsettled.
"H-hey... what's wrong?" She approached the lion boy, placing her hand on his head, giving him a loving pat.

He smirked lightly at her curious question.
"Well, in short, it's a reference to what I am. Half human, half Fey, so Pixie is a suitable stage name don't you think? That, and I create illusions and am an acrobat, so the name is fitting." Cassiel answered, still smiling to himself. Sighing softly, he stood, brushing off his shirt as he did and putting the first aid kit he'd taken out away.
"Lead the way then Ivan"

Delia clapped her hands. "Oh, that's nice! I'm only a descendant of the Nephilim... so in short, I'm not fully an angel..." she laughed nervously, then helped Cassiel pick up the first aid kit, following Ivan and him. "
"I'd like to call you Cassiel though... it's a beautiful name," she chirped. "Reminds me of another of my angel friends too...." she murmured to herself.

He widened his eyes slightly in surprise as she said this.
"Really? I never believed in angels, mum always said they were just stories, and my dad...Well...I may be part fey thanks to him, but the fey despise halflings, so I've never really seen much of them, only a couple of visits to and from dad." He shrugged, thanking Delia for helping him. Laughing slightly he grinned broadly to Delia. "I wouldn't be surprised, they named me after an angel from an old story, though I like to think myself far more devilish than angelic." As Cassiel said this, he gave her a cheeky wink, another glimpse at his fey side.

Ivan happy lead the way back to the ring. He had dragged Taylor along with him since she could help talk some sence into the girl who was climbing the pole. When they got there he pointed to the top of the pole where the girl was. "see, there is a girl climbing a pole." he said and pointed to the other girl on the ground "and there is the other one who looks like her."
Terra looked around, she heard people talking and wondered who was down on the ground besides her sister sarra. But she just laughed when she got to the top and called down to her sister. "hey who is here?" her hands still hung off of the pole and the only thing that kept her on the pole were her legs that where wrapped around the pole tightly.
Sarra sighed and snapped to her sister 'there are a few other people here.' she hated how her sister was so carefree and looked over to the people. She still had a serious face on and she moved her hand infront of her face and now had a smile on her face. She was very good at doing that since that was one way that she comunicated with people.

Maurice blushed a little as Delia pulled away from him. Truith be told, he liked the hug. It hadn't even crossed his mind that she had been holding him too long. He certainly didn't mind it. Shifting over slightly he rubbed his arms nervously, trying to make up for the lack of body heat against him. He was a little twig of a boy after all.
"I honestly have no idea, I sometimes think that he was left by aliens or something," Taylor said, chuckling slightly at Cassiel's comment about her being related to her cousin. She shook her head a little and looked down at him for a moment. Henri just smiled back at her goofily and hugged onto her leg.
"Heheh its all comfy down here. Can i stay down ere'?...I'm gonna stay," Henri babbled on and rubbed the side of her calf like a cat. Taylor growled and kicked him to the side again, making him whine pitifully.
"Stay here before you embarrass yourself more," She hissed and followed the others out to the main ring. It took Taylor a minuet to realize what had gotten Ivan all worked up, but when she did she nearly screamed.
"OH MY GOD!!" She yelled as she saw the girl holding on by just her legs and dangling off the top of the tent pole, almost fifty feet up, "What are you doing up there!? Someone! Get her down!!"

Ivan smiled happly when Taylor yelled for the girl to come down. She was the only one who he knew that could knock some sence into people. He just hoped that the girl wouldn't get hurt and fall or soemthing like that.
Tarra looked around when she heard someone. It took her a few second to understand that the person was talking to her. She sighed a little bit "what does it look like, I am climbing and I dont need any-" she was cut off there since her grip had losend and she had started to fall to the ground. But there was just a huge smile on her face as she fell, it was like nothing was the matter.
Sarra sighed and walked over to the girl who had yelled at her sister. She wrote sorry in the air and looked at her sister and shook her head. Her sister was a idiot sometimes. But when she saw her sister fall she covered her mouth then smiled a little bit. Her sister had fallen from higher places so she wasn't very afraid. Instead she started to mimic playing a drum and watched her sister fall like a rock.

There was nothing particularly spectacular about Maria's trip through the "haunted" woods that lined the path towards the circus. Just and endless amount of twisted old trees scattered in a seemingly random pattern about the ground. For some, the walk may have been haunting, terrifying or at least a little nerve wracking, but Maria saw no logic behind being afraid. After all, the brunette had spent her whole life living in and among trees of all types and was quite sure that they wouldn't do anything sudden now of all times. Though she didn't quite recognize them as the same types of trees her own home was set in, the trees, none the less, passed the "normal" test.
Eyes wandering about the area, Maria kept tabs on everything she passed. A unique lump of moss, a strange colored mushroom, a scraggly looking bird that seemed sort of lost- everything. While it seemed somewhat pointless to be looking at all the minuet details instead of where she was going, it was nothing more than her method of doing so. Though she saw many natural bits of the environment that caught her interest, they weren't what she was looking for. What her eyes were really trying to see were things like bits of balloons far past their lifespan, or maybe a discarded flier of sort. Something to tell her that she was on the right track, that this seemingly haunted path would really take her to the circus that she seeked.
With a sudden burst of inspiration, Maria decided to look up towards the horizon. After all, if there was a circus, wouldn't they have tents big enough to be seen from quite a ways away? With that idea in mind, she scanned carefully with her eyes for a gap withing the web of tree branches that blanketed out everything but the sky farther above and the ground closest to her. There we go, she thought triumphantly, eyes fixed firmly on the brightly colored prize. Like she'd expect the circus tents were indeed obvious enough to be seen from a way aways. Except for one huge difference: she wasn't as far away as she'd initially assumed. Though her tired feet were somewhat relieved that she'd be done traveling soon, she was a little forlorn to see her journey through the trees coming to an end. Forests were peaceful, and they reminded her of home so of course she was more inclined to hide among them rather than brave the cruel world outside.
Dark thoughts pushed aside, Maria continued along the path. She did, after all, have a place she needed to be going and had no intentions of being late. Though she wasn't on any type of set time limit, she herself had set one instead. It wasn't like her to travel for more than a certain span of time, and that span was coming to an end. It was about time to be arriving at her destination, nice scenery or not.
Before long, she was within sight of the tents just as they were in sight of her. She was a little disappointed to see that they weren't exactly as tall as she'd hoped them to be, but was still quite impressed with the size of the Big Top. I bet it'd be like flying, to do tricks so high up in the air, she concluded from it's height, her fingers itching to play around in the world so high up off the ground that people of her profession seemed to spend to much of their time in, either practicing or performing. For her, though, it was never practice or performance- it was all simply play time. It was the walking around on the ground that was the serious work, though it wasn't like she had an difficulty with it. Simply, she preferred to be at least fifty feet up from the nearest floor.
A quick look around told Maria that there weren't quite as many people here as she'd expected at first. Though the circus had posted a Help Wanted ad, she'd still thought that it would have more people to start off with. Little did she know what they were actually doing was a full recruiting attempt. Either way, she didn't mind, though. It just meant she'd be one of a few fresh faces instead of the only new person around. Yes, being the only one meant more attention and a more personal feel of learning the ropes, but she preferred being one of a crowd. To have the spotlight on her when she wasn't in the air wasn't in her desires. She had, if one would remember, grown up always as one of a crowd. With her older brother having been born before her, she'd never been alone and planned not to start the trend now.
Stepping into the general area of the tents, she gazed around looking for some form of authority. Hopefully, someone would pick her out of the crowd as looking either somewhat lost or as a new face and point her in the right direction. If they didn't... Well, she was a big girl now. She could handle that possibility herself. After all, if she was old enough to legally leave home than she could surely manage signing herself up for a job at the circus. Still, it was much preferred in her book to have someone at least point her in the right directions. She didn't want her first impression on the place to be made by walking into the wrong tent.

Delia laughed merrily, feeling heat rush up to her cheeks, causing her to blush once more. "I see... perhaps you care to share the story with me?" she tilted her head, smiling sweetly. She was enjoying everyone's company so far, and she liked it.
Delia looked back, noticing Henri sprawled on the ground, looking pathetic, with Maurice nearby rubbing himself as if he was cold. She sat on the grass under a tree, motioning for Cassiel and Maurice to sit by her, somewhere where she could keep an eye on Henri in case he did another stupid stunt of his.
As soon as she sat, another snake slithered its way towards her, coiling itself on around her neck and shoulders gently, relaxed. Delia giggled.

Cassiel was surprised when Delia motioned for him to sit beside her. Sure, he supposed he liked those he worked and lived with. But Cassiel wasn't exactly close to any of them, he wasn't used to being asked to join them. Walking over though with a smile, he settled down, nodding his head in thanks.
"I would love to, though I'll have to remember it first. It's been some time since I last heard it." Cassiel answered her question, watching the snake coil around her neck and shoulders curiously. "You seem to attract snakes." He muttered, still smiling. The sound of footsteps made the half fey look up in surprise. Another stranger? Well, Taylor wasn't here to greet her, but he didn't feel like doing the job himself.

"Oh sure, take your time, Cassiel," Delia replied, fiddling with her snake, and a dandelion she found nearby. She blew on it, sending off the dandelion seeds into the wind, travelling in random directions.
"Well, I'm a snake charmer, remember? I've been taught that since I was a child by my father, who... passed away quite recently..." she murmured sadly. The snake around her neck hissed softly, slithering onto her fingers, and headed towards Cassiel, looking at him curiously. Delia laughed.
At the same time, Delia turned to look over at Henri, and decided to sit him not too far away from her, under the same tree where she was at. With a heave, she pulled him to where she was sitting, then placed him sitting against the tree not a couple of metres away from Cassiel and herself.
"Hey, are you alright, sir?" she waved a hand in front of Henri tentatively. She blushed as she still saw him clutching onto her feather he plucked off recently.

((Mk see ya then))
Henri just giggled up at her blearily, his buzz still very alive. His chocolate colored eyes followed her hand as she waved it. For the longest moment he followed it like it was the most interesting thing in the world, and to him it probably was. That was until he noticed her leg. You could almost hear the angelic chorus in his brain as he stared at the foot stupidly. Then, without a moments hesitation, he latched onto Delia's leg like no tomorrow.
Maurice jumped at the sudden movement and clenched onto Delia's shirt. Henri didnt pay any mind to this and rubbed his cheek against her shoe blearily.
All Taylor could do was scream as the girl fell. She couldnt think of anything to do in the less than a second time that she would be falling. The safety trampoline was far too far away to even think of getting it there in time. She couldnt do anything other than just watch. There wanst even time for her to run underneath her to soften the fall, most likely killing them both in the process.
Oddly enough she actually started seeing her own life flash before her eyes. Was that weird? She figured it was, but it happened regardless

Ivan just watched as the girl fell and could do nothing.
Tarra smiled as she got closer to the ground and did a flip before she hit the ground. For a second there was only dust but as it cleared you could see terra had done a split. She looked fine and had a huge smile on her face. "that was more fun then I expected." she said as she got out of her split and stood up straight. She dusted herself off and smiled happly.
Sarra stoped doing her silent drum roll and clapped her hands togeather when her sister hit the ground. A huge smiled came onto her face as her sister stood up and she claped for her. Then ran over to her and hugged her happly. 'I was worryed' she said silently as she hugged her sister.
